Abstract

One of the nations where land transportation is frequently employed is Indonesia, particularly on motorbikes or two-wheeled vehicles. Since there is not much economic growth to maintain the high level of sales, there are many people without jobs, which leads to criminality, particularly motorcycle theft. The rate of motorbike theft in society is currently rising. The researchers developed a security system using a GPS Tracker whose control was handled by a two-channel relay in response to the rise in motorbike theft. The webcam camera produces the greatest images when it is hidden by a tree. 100% of the time, Relay Components work to control the horn and electricity. Due to the short read-time of the location the first time, GPS has a high accuracy. The Raspberry Pi3 can send, receive, and process commands to the motorcycle security system. The motion sensors, vibration sensors, raspberry pi microcontrollers, relays, and servo motors make up the system architecture in general. This method operates when the motor produces a lot of vibration. The sensor will relay the vibration to the Raspberry Pi microcontroller's output and the microcontroller will then deliver a warning notification message. In the event of a theft, the motorcycle will be immediately within the owner's control. In addition, with security using facedetection, the public can detect the perpetrators of theft and it takes quite a long time to work on it. The security system on motorbikes using facedetection takes a long time to produce, but it can't be done optimally. The purpose of this creation is to improve the security system on motorcycles to make it more efficient and effective in identifying the perpetrators of theft. This system consists of a Raspberry Pi3 as the control center, a picamera as a face detector, and a buzzer as an alarm.

Abstract

Hair diseases are common and can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, stress, nutritional deficiencies, as well as exposure to sunlight and air pollution. Accurate diagnosis of hair diseases is important for proper treatment, but can be challenging due to overlapping symptoms. The development of the healthcare world has widely utilized machine learning and deep learning approaches to assist in the healthcare field. This research aims to develop hair disease classification using Convolutional neural network (CNN). The CNN-based approach is expected to help health professionals diagnose hair diseases accurately and provide targeted treatment. This research involves an experimental design with three main stages: identifying the research problem, conducting a literature review, and collecting data. The research uses a dataset of hair disease images obtained from Kaggle, which are annotated and organized based on different hair disease types. After the image data is collected, the image dataset will go through the image preprocessing stage. Experiments were conducted using hair disease image data with 15 epochs on a CNN Deep Learning model with VGG-16 architecture, and resulted in an accuracy of 94.5% and a loss rate of 18.47%, with a testing epoch time of 9 hours 48 minutes. The results of this study show that CNN with VGG-16 architecture can successfully classify 10 types of hair diseases

Abstract

The E-Report application information system is a system that can assist and facilitate users in creating performance reports for a company. In this study, a web-based e-report system was developed and designed for digital reporting by field employees at PT. In this study, a web-based e-report system was developed and designed for digital reporting by field employees at PT. Cipto Sarana Nusantara, which specifically operates in the gas pipeline installation sector. Previously, the company generated field worker performance reports through manual systems, in the form of hard copies or sent via chat applications. This led to poorly organized reports received by administrators. To address this issue, the author developed E-Report, a web-based application that aims to facilitate field workers and administrators in submitting and collecting reports. By utilizing this system, reporting performance significantly improves in terms of reporting speed, accuracy, and ease. Abstract

Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, terlihat bahwa saat ini penggunaan komputer dalam proses pembelajaran terbatas pada penggunaan PowerPoint. Para guru mata pelajaran matematika menghadapi tantangan dalam menciptakan materi dan alat bantu pembelajaran yang efektif. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, salah satu solusi yang diusulkan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Geogebra kepada guru-guru matematika. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru terkait peran media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran matematika dan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan mereka dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran virtual (mathlet) yang interaktif dan efektif. Pendekatan yang akan diterapkan dalam pelatihan ini mencakup beberapa tahap, seperti observasi langsung, wawancara, presentasi, dan sesi tanya jawab. Diharapkan bahwa hasil dari pelatihan ini akan membawa berbagai manfaat, termasuk peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dalam pelatihan, peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam berkreasi dan berinovasi dalam merancang pembelajaran, pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang media pembelajaran virtual, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi Geogebra untuk membuat media pembelajaran virtual, serta kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan materi visual, bahan ajar, dan instrumen penilaian yang relevan dengan materi aljabar dan geometri.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the effectiveness of the "Bank Sampah Gesit" in Rumah Gerat Village through educational initiatives and operational system restructuring. The program includes educating participants on waste management concepts, types of recyclable materials, and effective operational management, followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to design improved operational systems. Using a one-shot case study approach with pretest-posttest assessments, this initiative successfully increased participants' knowledge and understanding of waste management principles and established a functional waste management system. This system includes the types of waste managed, waste deposit recording systems, and the roles of waste collectors and sponsors in sustaining the bank. Fully supported by the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Universitas Negeri Medan and in collaboration with Roda Hijau Kota Medan, this community service program encourages active community participation in environmental conservation efforts. The goal is for this initiative to inspire the residents of Rumah Gerat Village to manage waste more efficiently, positively impacting the local environment, and creating a cleaner and sustainable environment for future generations.

Abstract

Penjadwalan karyawan merupakan hal yang penting di dunia industri, karena semua kegiatan produksi bergantung pada jadwal yang disediakan, sehingga harus disusun dengan benar dan diperbaiki pada setiap awal periode produksi, sehingga nantinya tidak mengganggu aktifitas jam kerja karyawan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut digunakan algoritma Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Algoritma ini dapat memecahkan masalah dengan membentuk partikel- partikel pada populasi awal secara acak, mengevaluasi nilai fitness, dan memperbarui velocity serta posisi dari partikel. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang ditinjau dari fungsi fitness setiap partikel. Dari hasil pengujian, aplikasi penjadwalan jam kerja meggunakan algoritma PSO mampu menghasilkan jadwal karyawan yang efektif yang mencakup jam dimulainya shift hingga stasiun kerja masing-masing.

Abstract

An Integrity Zone is an activity related to government policies and efforts to create an environment free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN). The Integrity Zone aims to encourage transparency, accountability, and clean practices in the management of a bureaucracy. To further the success of this Integrity Zone, a Agent of Change was formed who acts as a Role Model for all parties. As a role model, agents of change must be able to provide examples in attitude, behavior, and thinking. In addition, they must be able to provide creative solutions in dealing with problems in their agencies. And must be able to provide creative ideas to improve the performance of all parties. Sometimes, their ideas are not well documented. So a digital-based system is needed that can facilitate the work of these agents of change. For this reason, it is necessary to create a Web-based application for recording, reporting, and implementing change agent performance so that it is more optimal, efficient, and effective. In this study, the development of web-based applications using a framework with PHP-Native technology. Most PHP frameworks that exist today, use MVC and OOP technology but no one has utilized PHP-Native technology as a framework. This aims to facilitate the creation of applications for programmers who have not familiar with MVC or OOP concept.

Abstract

Teknologi berkembang  sangat pesat begitu pula dengan dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan merupakan upaya pengembangan potensi sumber daya manusia melalui proses pembelajaran. Tujuan utama dari proses pembelajaran di sekolah adalah menciptakan suasana belajar yang baik dan menyenangkan, membangkitkan semangat dan mendorong mereka untuk selalu giat belajar, karena proses belajar yang baik dan menyenangkan akan memberikan dampak positif terhadap tercapainya hasil pembelajaran yang optimal. Pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan salah satu cara menciptakan proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan proses belajar yaitu pemilihan media pembelajaran. Saat ini sudah banyak pilihan teknologi informasi yang dapat digunakan untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah Google Sites. Google Sites merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak produk Google yang digunakan sebagai alat pembuat website secara gratis sehingga siapapun dapat menggunakan atau membuat membuat website dengan memanfaatkan Google Sites. Penggunaan Google Sites dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi  memudahkan akses informasi dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan softskill Guru SMK Dharma Pancasila untuk membangun sebuah website secara gratis dengan memanfaatkan Google Sites. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini setiap guru mampu menggunakan dan mengembangkan website dengan memanfaatkan Google Site. Melalui kegiatan ini juga telah membantu  pihak sekolah dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang lebih variatif yang tersedia secara gratis melalui Google Sites sehingga siswa dan guru dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran yang lebih baik

Abstract

An information system is a collection of elements that are interrelated and work together to process input to produce the desired output. It is hoped that the development of a web-based information system at the Bintang Village Office can help increase information updates and expand the reach of information that can be disseminated to the community. Implementation of System Management Design is an important part of the system implementation process, so that the system design process can be structured in a structured manner and avoid errors in design. Based on the research results, it was concluded that a website-based Bintang Village Information System had been built using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) system design method and the PHP programming language. From the test results using the Black Box method, it can be concluded that the development of the Bintang Village Information System is functionally running well and in line with expectations. The information system that was built has been able to provide convenience in obtaining effective and efficient information for the people of Bintang Village.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sering mengalami kesulitan dalam mengelola berbagai tugas akademik yang memiliki tenggat waktu berbeda, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya efektivitas pengelolaan waktu dan keterlambatan penyelesaian tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi manajemen tugas berbasis web yang dirancang khusus untuk membantu mahasiswa mencatat, memantau, dan menyusun prioritas tugas kuliah secara sistematis. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan pendekatan full-stack web development dengan metode waterfall, mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Fitur utama yang diimplementasikan meliputi registrasi dan login berbasis NIM, entri data tugas lengkap dengan kategori dan prioritas, pengingat otomatis, pencarian dan filter, upload file pendukung, visualisasi statistik tugas, serta kalender interaktif. Pengujian dilakukan secara manual terhadap seluruh fitur menggunakan data tugas aktual. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi dengan baik dan sistem berjalan stabil tanpa ditemukan gangguan fungsional. Aplikasi ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan disiplin, efisiensi waktu, serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan beban akademik mahasiswa melalui tampilan antarmuka yang interaktif dan informatif.
