Abstract

This research explains Policy Communication on Twitter Social Media: Development of Sustainable Tourism Destinations in NTB Province. New media offers digitization, convergence, interaction, and development of networks related to creating and delivering messages. Digital media is a source of information and a platform for tourists or visitors to communicate. Digital technology has experienced significant growth. This study aims to identify policy communication for Sustainable Tourism Destination Development through social media communication tools. NTB Provincial Government Twitter Account @ntb_Prov and Personal Twitter Account @bangzul_ntb. This research uses a qualitative method with the Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) Miner approach, used for content, network, and cloud analysis using Nvivo 12 Plus software. The findings show that the intensity of each account has provided an overview of how local governments disseminate information related to the policies they produce. The total tweet intensity and highest tweet intensity were made by the @ntb_Prov account, with quite a significant difference compared to the @bangzul_ntb account. In analyzing the information content shared regarding the theme of Sustainable Tourism Destination Development, each account has distributed information directly related to the Sustainable Tourism Destination Development policy. Policy communication on Twitter is also a means of gathering input and responses from the public regarding the development of sustainable tourism destinations in West Nusa Tenggara. Overall, policy communication on Twitter and social media regarding the development of sustainable tourism destinations in West Nusa Tenggara is an effort to increase public awareness and participation in sustainable tourism development in the region.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low representation of women in legislative institutions, particularly in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of West Nusa Tenggara Province, which reached only 1.54% in the 2019 election. The research aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges faced by women in running for legislative office in the 2024 election. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving key informants. The results show that despite affirmative policies such as the 30% quota for women being legally mandated, implementation remains hindered by factors such as patriarchal culture, limited access to education and political information, and insufficient party support. Nevertheless, growing gender awareness, central government policies, and increased involvement of women's organizations present greater opportunities for female representation in parliament. In conclusion, increasing both the quantity and quality of women's representation requires continuous efforts from various stakeholders, including the government, political parties, and civil society, to establish a more inclusive and gender-eq uitable political system

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengembangan pariwisata halal di kawasan alam Gunung Jae, yang terletak di Desa Sedau, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, serta dampaknya terhadap ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Dulu, lokasi wisata ini merupakan area tambang yang telah dialihkan menjadi destinasi alam yang menarik, mengusung prinsip wisata halal yang menyenangkan bagi pengunjung Muslim. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan infrastruktur (seperti fasilitas, akses, dan atraksi) serta aspek non-fisik (seperti promosi daring dan keterlibatan komunitas) dapat mendongkrak jumlah wisatawan dan menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru. Keterlibatan kelompok sadar wisata (pokdarwis) dan dukungan dari BUMDes sangat penting dalam pengelolaan serta pemerataan manfaat ekonomi, termasuk penciptaan lapangan kerja dan peningkatan pendapatan melalui usaha lokal seperti penyewaan tenda, serta penjualan produk olahan gula aren dan tuak manis. Pariwisata Gunung Jae menunjukkan bahwa wisata halal dapat menjadi strategi untuk memajukan ekonomi lokal yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study analyzes how Anies Rasyid Baswedan’s political communication is in preparation for the upcoming 2024 elections. In this study, we used a qualitative strategy that incorporated the Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) Miner methodology into our content, network, and cloud analysis using the Nvivo 12 Plus software. The results of this study indicate that account intensity also describes how Anies Rasyid Baswedan carries out political communication or branding activities. The @aniesbaswedan account has the most significant overall and quarterly tweet intensity, with 79.65% of tweets having a restoration sub-theme. This account also has the highest power for the total number of tweets. The 2024 election subtheme generated 11.43% of tweets; finally, the political subtheme was 9.52%. In analyzing the contents of information dissemination related to Anies Rasyid Baswedan’s political communication, his account has carried out direct outreach regarding politics in the face of the 2024 election. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis dinamika politik sebagai panggung, dan bagaimana keterlibatan selebriti dalam kontestasi politik di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan Nvivo 12 Plus. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukan Fenomena keterlibatan selebriti dalam kontestasi politik di Indonesia merupakan dampak dari terbukanya ruang politik pascareformasi dan meningkatnya personalisasi dalam politik. Selebriti memanfaatkan modal sosial dan simbolik yang telah mereka bangun melalui ketenaran publik, pengaruh media sosial, kredibilitas citra, serta akses ke jaringan elit sebagai pijakan strategis untuk meraih posisi politik. Popularitas yang telah tertanam dalam benak masyarakat memungkinkan selebriti untuk menembus arena politik dengan lebih mudah dibandingkan politisi konvensional, terlebih di wilayah yang minim pendidikan politik. Partai politik pun memanfaatkan fenomena ini secara pragmatis dengan merekrut artis untuk menjadi calon legislatif maupun juru kampanye. Mereka dianggap sebagai vote getter yang mampu menarik segmen pemilih muda dan apolitis melalui pendekatan emosional dan visual yang lebih mudah diterima. Dalam praktiknya, strategi ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan eksposur dan efektivitas kampanye, baik secara langsung di lapangan maupun melalui platform digital. persepsi publik terhadap selebriti-politisi masih bersifat ambivalen. Sebagian masyarakat memiliki harapan terhadap mereka selama menunjukkan dedikasi dan kompetensi, namun sebagian lainnya sangat kritis bahkan sinis, menilai kehadiran artis di politik hanya sebagai pencitraan tanpa kontribusi nyata. Data persepsi publik menunjukkan fluktuasi signifikan, dengan mayoritas berada dalam kategori “cukup positif” (53%) dan “sangat negatif” (50%), menandakan bahwa publik kini lebih selektif dan tidak lagi terjebak pada euforia popularitas semata. Dengan demikian, keberhasilan selebriti dalam politik tidak semata ditentukan oleh ketenaran, tetapi oleh sejauh mana mereka mampu mengubah popularitas menjadi legitimasi politik melalui integritas, kerja nyata, dan pemahaman atas tanggung jawab publik. Publik Indonesia kini semakin dewasa dan rasional dalam menilai kualitas pemimpin, menjadikan fenomena politik selebriti sebagai medan ujian antara pencitraan dan pengabdian

Abstract

The millennial generation has a strategic role in developing leadership in the digital era, especially in student organizations such as the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM) of Mataram City. However, digital leadership skills are still a challenge for many students due to a lack of understanding of the use of technology in leadership. This community service activity aims to improve the digital leadership capacity of IMM Mataram City members through counselling, practice and interactive methods. This activity was attended by 16 IMM Mataram City members who actively participated in the entire training series. The activity results showed that participants gave an excellent assessment of the activity's benefits, the material's quality, and the interaction with the presenters. The satisfaction survey noted that participants felt more prepared to face the challenges of leadership in the digital era and were able to apply new skills in their organizations. These findings indicate that the activity contributed to forming an IMM Mataram City that is innovative, adaptive, and ready to face future digital leadership challenges.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how smart tourism differs from other digital tourism marketing. The tourism sector is experiencing a growing trend known as digital tourism, which leverages digital technologies to enhance the overall tourist experience.. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data processing using NVivo 12 Plus. ResultsThis study shows that the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) shows significant advantages compared to Labuan Bajo in implementing the Smart Tourism concept. The Mandalika SEZ has effectively integrated digital technology, first with the implementation of Smart Advertising for data-driven marketing and culminating in the creation of Smart Attractions that enrich the digital experience for visitors. The main characteristics of Mandalika in attracting visitors are its modern infrastructure, improved public accessibility, and facilities that accommodate those with disabilities. In contrast, although Labuan Bajo is rapidly developing as a super-priority destination, the use of smart technology is still limited, especially related to digital integration and the use of Smart Advertising. In addition, improving facility management and inclusive accessibility in Labuan Bajo is essential to meet the criteria of international tourism destinations. Both destinations have significant potential for sustainable tourism expansion; however, a more systematic and integrated approach based on technological innovation, exemplified by the Mandalika SEZ, has shown greater efficacy in accelerating the achievement of creative, sustainable, and inclusive tourism development goals.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pariwisata pintar berbeda dari pemasaran pariwisata digital lainnya. Sektor pariwisata sedang mengalami tren yang berkembang yang dikenal sebagai pariwisata digital, yang memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan pengalaman wisatawan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan NVivo 12 Plus. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Mandalika menunjukkan keunggulan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan Labuan Bajo dalam menerapkan konsep Pariwisata Cerdas. KEK Mandalika telah mengintegrasikan teknologi digital secara efektif, pertama dengan penerapan Iklan Cerdas untuk pemasaran berbasis data dan berpuncak pada penciptaan Atraksi Cerdas yang memperkaya pengalaman digital bagi pengunjung. Karakteristik utama Mandalika dalam menarik pengunjung adalah infrastrukturnya yang modern, aksesibilitas publik yang ditingkatkan, dan fasilitas yang mengakomodasi mereka yang berkebutuhan khusus. Sebaliknya, meskipun Labuan Bajo berkembang pesat sebagai destinasi superprioritas, penggunaan teknologi pintar masih terbatas, terutama terkait dengan integrasi digital dan penggunaan Iklan Cerdas. Selain itu, peningkatan manajemen fasilitas dan aksesibilitas yang inklusif di Labuan Bajo sangat penting untuk memenuhi kriteria destinasi pariwisata internasional. Kedua destinasi tersebut memiliki potensi yang signifikan untuk perluasan pariwisata berkelanjutan; namun, pendekatan yang lebih sistematis dan terintegrasi berdasarkan inovasi teknologi, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh KEK Mandalika, telah menunjukkan kemanjuran yang lebih besar dalam mempercepat pencapaian tujuan pembangunan pariwisata yang kreatif, berkelanjutan, dan inklusif.

Abstract

Natural disasters are an ever-present threat with the potential to cause significant losses, both in terms of material and human loss. Given the magnitude of their impact, young people need to be equipped with awareness, knowledge, and skills to deal with potential disasters. This community service activity aims to foster youth awareness of disaster management through training and simulation programs. Implementation methods include education on disaster types, field practice, and disaster management simulations involving youth communities in disaster-prone areas. Results of the activity demonstrated a significant increase in participants' understanding of mitigation procedures, self-rescue techniques, and coordination during disasters. In addition to cognitive aspects, this activity also fostered responsiveness, discipline, social awareness, and solidarity among young people. Thus, training and simulations have proven effective as educational strategies for building preparedness and producing a caring, resilient, and adaptive young generation in the face of disaster risks.
