Abstract

Character education is an effort made by educators to help students develop good behavior. Therefore, to help students develop character at school, educators and curriculum components-which include teaching and learning activities and extracurricular activities-must collaborate. Descriptive qualitative research was used in this study. Interview, observation, and documentation were the methods used in data collection. To verify the accuracy of the data, researchers used source triangulation and procedure triangulation. The research findings show that the character education method of the Qur'an memorization program at Al-Azhar 29 Semarang Islamic Elementary School is by way of: Before reading and memorizing the Qur'an, students must: a) purify from hadats (wudhu); habits like this give birth to a clean character; b) develop a disciplined character by getting used to reading and memorizing the Qur'an before studying. c) Teachers get used to students reading and memorizing the Qur'an before studying; d) students must deposit at least 12 verses every week in order to reach the memorization target that has been set. d) The quality of honesty is born from the habit of reading and memorizing the Qur'an.

Abstract

REMO or the abbreviation for Rebana Modern is an organization at UNNES which operates in the field of Islamic art. Activities in the REMO organization can improve character development in students at UNNES PGSD, especially in social character values. Through routine activities, the character that is formed includes discipline, self-confidence, mutual respect, spiritual values, togetherness, and Islamic artistic values. The many characters that are formed through REMO activities are something that has positive value. The focus of the character that we study through REMO activities is social character. This research uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that uses events, analysis of phenomena, social activities, thoughts of a person or a group. Qualitative research produces data in the form of written or verbal descriptions of the results of face-to-face and virtual interviews.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect in developing individuals with integrity and good personality. One of the essential character values is the value of tolerance, which plays a key role in building harmonious relationships in a multicultural society. Elementary school has an important role in shaping children's character because it is the initial stage in their learning process. Extracurricular activities, such as Scout activities, are considered an effective means of instilling character values in a formal education environment. This research aims to explore the influence of the implementation of instilling the value of tolerance through Scout extracurricular activities on the character education of students in elementary schools. The main focus is to understand how Scout activities can play a role in strengthening the value of tolerance among students. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide deeper insight into the role of extracurricular activities in shaping student character, especially in terms of developing attitudes of tolerance towards differences.

Abstract

Character education is very important for the academic and moral of students, especially elementary school students. In this era, there are still many characters that need to be formed because of the low moral values of students. Educational institutions must synergize to improve the character of elementary school students. One way is to use fairy tale media. Fairy tales are a fun learning approach for students. Fairy tales are stories that contain moral and social values that are useful for shaping the character of elementary school students. Character cultivation can be instilled in students by learning the traits that play a role in the fairy tale. Student character building strategies are carried out by giving examples, habituating reading and listening to fairy tales. This study used qualitative research methods. The purpose of this study is to instill the character of elementary school students through a fairy tale learning approach.

Abstract

The use of cognitive learning theory in the learning process in elementary schools, especially in Indonesian subjects that involve the use of learning methods and media that can stimulate students' cognitive development. One effective medium in this context is the flannel board. This study aims to describe the implications of cognitive learning theory in character development in elementary schools through Indonesian subjects. The method applied in this study is a qualitative research method that relies on a library research approach. Information is obtained through classroom observation, interaction with teachers, and evaluation of data from Indonesian learning materials presented through flannel boards. Cognitive learning theory, especially the concepts of reasoning, memory, and problem solving, became the basis of analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of flannel boards in developing character to stimulate the learning process of students. The results of this research show that the use of flannel boards in the learning process in elementary schools can make a positive contribution to students' cognitive development. Through the organization of structured and visual learning materials, flannel boards can improve students' memory capacity. In addition, the active interaction of students with the flannel board allows the development of reasoning and problem-solving abilities. In the context of implementing cognitive learning theory, teachers can utilize flannel boards as aids to present information concretely, facilitate knowledge construction, and encourage students' active participation in learning. The implications of this study provide the basis for the development of more effective learning strategies at the primary school level, by harnessing the potential of flannel boards as a learning medium that stimulates students' cognitive development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the Tiktok social media application on religious tolerance for UNNES Rombel E students Class of 2022. Researchers used sampling in the form of a simple random sampling technique. This sampling uses one independent variable (X) the Tiktok Social Media Application while the variable (Y) is the dependent variable, namely Religious Tolerance. Then the types of questionnaire data are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques in this research, researchers used simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the research carried out obtained a significance value (sign.) of 0.200 greater than 0.05 so that the data was normally distributed. Through the use of the Glejser test, researchers obtained analysis results in the form of a sign X value (0.911) > 0.05. So it can be concluded that the influence of the Tiktok application on the tolerance of PGSD UNNES Rombel E 2022 students is not significant. So we got the result that the influence of Tiktok (X) on religious tolerance (Y) was only 7.6% and the rest of the religious tolerance was influenced by other things that the researchers did not know. So researchers can conclude based on the hypothesis results, there is no significant influence on the Tiktok application on religious tolerance. Thus, PGSD UNNES Rombel E 2022 students have been able to tolerate well by obtaining the percentage result of the influence of Tiktok (X) on religious tolerance (Y) of 7.6%, while 92.4% of the value of religious tolerance is influenced by other variables that cannot be researchers know.
