Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of socioeconomic status and parental support on the academic performance of students at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano. In the context of education, both factors are considered crucial in determining student success. A favorable socioeconomic status often provides greater access to learning resources and educational facilities, while parental support plays an important role in building students' motivation and self-confidence. Through surveys and interviews, this research collected data from students, parents, and teachers. The results indicate that students with higher socioeconomic status tend to have better academic performance; however, emotional and academic support from parents also significantly influences learning outcomes. Therefore, this study recommends the need for policies that enhance parental support and efforts to reduce socioeconomic disparities in order to create a better learning environment for all students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of students' socioeconomic status on academic performance from the perspective of students at SMK Negeri 1 Tondano, especially in the subjects of Civic Education and Information and Communication Technology. So that it can provide insight for the development of more inclusive and equitable education policies at SMK Negeri 1 Tondano. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving interviews, observation and documentation. Results show that students from high SES families have better access to educational resources and greater support, while students from low economic backgrounds face challenges that hinder their achievement. The research conclusion confirms the importance of considering socioeconomic well-being in designing education policies so that all students have equal opportunities to succeed.

Abstract

The issues addressed in this community service activity encompass a range of social problems, including environmental challenges, national disintegration, and the rampant abuse of narcotics among youth, who are considered the future leaders of the nation. The emergence of these problems in Indonesia indicates a significant erosion of Pancasila values in societal, national, and state life. The specific problems identified are: (1) a lack of student understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile, (2) an increasing prevalence of intolerance within society, and (3) insufficient dissemination of the fundamental values of the Pancasila Student Profile among both teachers and students. The proposed solution in this activity is the implementation of socialization and training sessions to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. The outcomes of these activities clearly demonstrate an improved understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang tujuannya menguji pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin guru terhadap Hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sebanyak 60 siswa mengisi kuesioner dan data untuk survei ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode sampling disederhanakan. Hasil akhir riset apa pengaruh motivasi guru yang tinggi terhadap penyajian belajar, dan pengaruh disiplin belajar yang tinggi terhadap keberhasilan belajar, sehingga tingkat keberhasilan belajar matematika juga tinggi. Hasil akhir riset juga menyatakan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh nyata motivasi belajar siswa di kelas terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, sama halnya dengan disiplin belajar siswa di kelas. Sehubungan dengan hasil riset, saran diberikan sebagai berikut: Guru mampu mempertahankan dan meningkatkan metode pembelajarannya pada tingkat yang cukup baik. Karena pemberian motivasi dan kedisiplinan di dalam kelas berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja siswa, maka guru berkewajiban memberikan motivasi dan kedisiplinan dalam belajar serta memperbaiki metode pengajaran agar siswa mamiliki hasil belajar matematika baik.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial element in the formation of students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also morally upright, empathetic, and socially responsible. This study aims to describe the character of students and the implementation of student character education at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and school staff. Three days of observation revealed that character values, such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, tolerance, and social care, have been fostered through daily habits, social interactions, extracurricular activities, and the school's management environment. The Smile, Greet, Salute (3S) culture and events such as National Education Day celebrations are effective means for character building. The interview results support these findings by emphasising the consistency with which character values are applied in both the school environment and students' daily lives. Teachers serve as role models and guide students in character development, while programs such as the Merdeka Curriculum and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) systematically strengthen the character learning process. This research suggests that character education at SMA Negeri 3 Tondano is implemented effectively, thanks to the school’s commitment, the support of its teachers, and the social environment. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in developing optimal character education strategies in senior high schools.

Abstract

Existing studies on land-rights transfers involving religious legal entities in Indonesia have predominantly adopted an administrative and certainty-oriented perspective, with limited attention to the theoretical implications of expanding state administrative authority over legal professions. This study examines the legal status of Ministerial Decree of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency No. 21/PNJ/KEM-ATR/BPN/VI/2024 within Indonesia’s land law framework and analyzes its impact on the reconfiguration of the roles of Notaries and Land Deed Officials (PPAT) in land-rights transfers conducted by Roman Catholic Church legal entities. Employing a normative juridical approach through statutory, conceptual, and document analysis, this research explores how the decree not only clarifies eligible holders of the Right of Ownership but also broadens due-diligence standards and professional responsibilities by integrating mandatory permit requirements into pre-deed verification and land registration stages. The findings demonstrate that the decree functions as an instrument of delegated administrative authority that enhances formal legality while simultaneously transforming Notaries and PPAT from administrative executors into verificatory actors within state-regulated religious land policy.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Katolik Karitas Tomohon dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat civic disposition siswa sebagai bagian penting dari pendidikan karakter dan pembentukan watak kewarganegaraan. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya internalisasi nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan di kalangan siswa, yang selama ini cenderung dipahami secara konseptual dan belum sepenuhnya terwujud dalam sikap serta perilaku nyata di lingkungan sekolah. Program PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan inti meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan berbasis diskusi kelompok dan role play, serta pendampingan penerapan nilai-nilai civic disposition dalam kehidupan sekolah sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan perubahan sikap positif siswa, seperti keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, meningkatnya kepedulian terhadap sesama, serta sikap toleransi dalam perbedaan. Guru menilai kegiatan ini efektif dalam melengkapi pembelajaran formal Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Dengan demikian, program PkM ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter siswa melalui internalisasi civic disposition berbasis sekolah.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di sektor publik menuntut Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) memiliki kompetensi digital yang memadai guna meningkatkan kinerja dan efektivitas birokrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi digital terhadap kinerja ASN di Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kota Tomohon. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh ASN di instansi tersebut sebanyak 46 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang terdiri dari 10 indikator kompetensi digital dan 10 indikator kinerja ASN, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, korelasi Product Moment, serta regresi linear sederhana yang dilengkapi dengan uji t untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang cukup kuat antara kompetensi digital dan kinerja ASN dengan nilai r = 0,642 dan tingkat signifikansi p < 0,05. Analisis regresi menghasilkan persamaan Y = 21,735 + 0,487X, yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu satuan kompetensi digital meningkatkan kinerja ASN sebesar 0,487 poin. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai t hitung = 5,812 lebih besar dari t tabel = 2,015 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis diterima, kompetensi digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja ASN. Sedangkan, nilai R² sebesar 0,412 mengindikasikan 41,2% variasi kinerja ASN dijelaskan oleh kompetensi digital, sedangkan sisanya 58,8% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social media in supporting character education programs through integrated curriculum management in the digital era. The method used is a qualitative approach with a focus on a systematic literature review, involving thematic analysis of various academic sources and current policies. The results of the study indicate that the integration of social media in the character education curriculum can increase student engagement, develop critical thinking skills, and facilitate cross-cultural collaborative learning. However, effective implementation requires adaptive curriculum management, development of teacher digital competencies, and policies that balance the use of technology with student security and privacy. This study concludes that an integrated approach to integrating social media into character education has significant potential to prepare students to face ethical challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the steps taken by the Village Government in encouraging community involvement in the payment of Land and Building Tax (PBB) in Lembang Tandung La'bo', Sanggalangi District, North Toraja Regency. This research is motivated by the low compliance of citizens in fulfilling their obligation to pay the United Nations. Data shows that of the 1,053 registered taxpayers, there are 375 people who have not made payments on time. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The informants in this study include Village Heads, village officials, and communities with the status of taxpayers. The findings of the study show that various efforts made by the village government have not been fully effective in increasing community participation. The policies implemented tend to focus on direct collection and the implementation of administrative provisions, such as the distribution of Tax Payable Notices (SPPT) and the imposition of a fine of 2% every month for late taxpayers. On the other hand, counseling activities and providing understanding of tax functions and benefits, including openness in reporting the use of tax funds, have not been carried out optimally. The low participation of the community is also influenced by a number of factors, such as lack of awareness, limited economic conditions, the existence of taxpayers living outside the region, and problems with inaccurate data on tax objects. Based on these results, a more comprehensive approach is needed through strengthening planned and sustainable socialization, the implementation of educational collection methods, and increasing transparency in the management of tax funds so that public awareness and compliance can grow consistently.
