Abstract

The majority of people of Nagari Carocok Anau Kec. Tarusan Kab. Pesisir Selatan worked as a fisherman, farmer, a small number of civil servants and market traders, as well as a housewife. Pregnant women in Nagari Carocok Anau, most of whom are housewives, still do not receive health checks such as haemoglobin (Hb) checks. This activity aims to increase knowledge among the public and health cadres regarding anaemia and Hb examination in pregnant women, as well as treatment. The health of pregnant women is checked by checking blood pressure, Hb and medication. This Hb examination is an effort to minimize abnormalities that can occur in pregnant women and fetuses due to low Hb when the mother is pregnant. The examination results showed that more than half of the pregnant women (71.43%) who attended were in the age range 18 – 35 years. Nearly half (42.86%) of pregnant women had Hb levels below the normal limit (11 mg/dl). For a more valid diagnosis, it is necessary to carry out quantitative analysis from the hospital laboratory so that follow-up can be carried out. Education about anaemia and Hb examinations in pregnant women can increase people's knowledge so that preventive measures can be carried out early. Health checks on the general public (blood pressure, Hb) and treatment were also carried out, it was found that the Hb results were within normal limits.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a syndrome of impaired carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism caused by a lack of insulin secretion or reduced tissue sensitivity to insulin. In general, there are several types of diabetes mellitus, one of which is type 2 diabetes mellitus. Depression is a condition of human mood disorders that can affect mind and physical health, characterized by  lack of energy, sadness, insomnia, and an inability to enjoy life. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Endocrine Clinic of Central Public Hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang.  This study used a quantitative descriptive design. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling technique. Sample in this study were patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were treated at the Endocrine Polyclinic of Endocrine Clinic of Central Public Hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang with  total of 60 people. Data were obtained from interviews and medical records of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in 2023. Data were analyzed univariately.  The result of this study showed the characteristics of T2DM patients, where samples most commonly found in middle adulthood (53,3%), men (56,7%), senior high school (46,7%), housewives (35%), and married status (83,3%). The result also showed that 61,7% of T2DM patients had a normal level of depression, 18,3% of patients had mild depression, 11,7% with moderate depression, and 8,3% with severe depression. Depression mostly occurred in middle adulthood (60,8%), women (65,2%), moderate levels of education (47,8%), housewife (52,2%), married status (73,9%), obese (39,1%), patients with comorbid (69,6%), patients with duration of diagnosis >5 years (69,6%), and patients with complication (52,2%).  The conclusion of this study is that most of the T2DM patients experience normal levels of depression, the highest level of depression found in middle adulthood, women, moderate levels of education, housewife, married status, obese, patients with duration of diagnosis >5 years, and patients with comorbid and complication.

Abstract

Background: Radiotherapy is one of the most commonly used treatments for cancer. Radiotherapy works by using high-energy particles or waves, such as X-rays, gamma rays, electron beams, or protons, to destroy or damage cancer cells. Anxiety is an emotional response that arises when a person experiences stress. Patients diagnosed with cancer will experience anxiety, and the anxiety increases in patients undergoing radiotherapy. Anxiety in radiotherapy generally occurs due to a lack of information, side effects of treatment, and radiation procedures. This study aims to determine the description of the anxiety level of cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy at Universitas Andalas Hospital.Method: This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach that examines the description of the anxiety level of cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy at Universitas Andalas Hospital. Anxiety levels were measured using the State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) questionnaire.Results: The sample in this study was 62 cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy. The results of the study were obtained in the A-State section, 64.5% experienced mild anxiety, 27.4% experienced moderate anxiety, and 8.1% experienced severe anxiety. The results of the A-Trait section 53.2% experienced mild anxiety, 43.6% experienced moderate anxiety, and 3.2% experienced severe anxiety. The trait section of anxiety tends to be more severe than the state section.Conclusion: The anxiety level of cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy at Andalas University Hospital, A-State, and A-Trait is mostly at a mild level. The results of the study can be used as a source of information to consider a psychological approach to patient treatment. However, further researchers can analyze the relationship between variables that influence the level of anxiety

Abstract

This Research Aims To Analyze The Influence Of Environmental Awareness And Green Transportation On Economic Impacts. This Research Was Conducted In Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta City, Involving 100 Respondents Selected Using The Purposive Sampling Method. The Research Results Show That Environmental Awareness And Green Transportation Simultaneously Influence The Economic Impact. Individually, These Two Variables Also Have A Significant Positive Influence On The Economic Impact. Implementation Of Green Transportation Can Improve Air Quality And Community Welfare. However, To Achieve Optimal Results, Effective Collaboration Between Government, Industry, And Society Is Needed. This Research Provides Implications For Policymakers And Stakeholders To Strengthen The Promotion And Implementation Of Sustainable Transportation To Maximize Positive Economic Impacts.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the information content of boycott announcements with abnormal returns and trading volume activity as indicators. Companies in the primary consumer goods sector comprise the study population, and 47 samples were obtained after being selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were tested using a one-sample t-test, a Wilcoxon signed ranked test, and a paired t-test. The results show a negative market reaction around the time of the boycott announcement and a difference in abnormal returns before and after the announcement. However, trading volume activity does not show a significant difference. The implication of this study is to add theoretical evidence to event studies related to testing the information content of boycott announcements. In addition, the study's results can provide insight for investors in interpreting an event such as a boycott action that is responded to as a negative signal. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menguji kandungan informasi pada pengumuman boikot dengan return taknormal dan aktivitas volume perdagangan sebagai indikator. Perusahaan sektor barang konsumen primer menjadi populasi penelitian dan diperoleh 47 sampel setelah dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diuji dengan one sample t-test, wilcoxon signed ranked test, dan paired t-test. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat reaksi pasar negatif disekitar waktu pengumuman boikot serta terdapat perbedaan return taknormal sebelum dan setelah pengumuman. Namun demikian, aktivitas volume perdagangan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah menambah pembuktian teori pada studi peristiwa terkait pengujian kandungan informasi pada pengumuman boikot. Selain itu, hasil penelitian dapat menjadi wawasan bagi investor dalam menafsirkan sebuah peristiwa seperti aksi boikot yang direspon sebagai sinyal negatif.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the position of the Tigo Sarangangan stove in the nagari government system according to constitutional law and the perspective of Islamic constitutional law. The type of research applied in this research is normative legal research with a qualitative approach, which is generally known as library research. Normative legal research is a scientific research process that aims to find the truth based on scientific logic and normative aspects. The data source used is a secondary data source. Sourced from books, articles, rules, websites. The data collection technique used is by browsing materials from books, articles, websites related to research. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive technique. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the Tigo Sarangan stove consists of Niniak Mamak, Alim Ulama and Cadiak Pandai. In the nagari government system, the Tigo Sarangan stove has a position as a member of the nagari customary density institution (KAN), whose elements are from the niniak mamak, the nagari ulama council institution whose elements are from the ulama and the nagari government and the nagari deliberative body whose elements are from the cadiak clever. These three institutions work together and coordinate with each other in building a nagari. In Islamic constitutional law, the Tigo Sarangan furnace can be thought of as an ahlul halli wal aqdi institution, which means a deliberative institution. In carrying out their duties, these institutions both prioritize the principles of deliberation and the general principles of Allah SWT's law in carrying out their powers and duties and conveying the aspirations of the community in government.

Abstract

Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS) sebagai wakil dari Dewan Syariah Nasional (DSN) pada lembaga keuangan syariah, bertugas untuk mengawasi kegiatan usaha lembaga keuangan syariah agar sesuai dengan ketentuan dan prinsip syariah yang telah difatwakan oleh DSN. Maka fungsi utama DPS adalah sebagai penasihat dan pemberi saran kepada direksi, pimpinan unit usaha syariah dan pimpinan kantor cabang syariah mengenai hal-hal yang terkait dengan aspek syariah dan sebagai mediator antara Lembaga Keuangan Syariah (LKS) dengan Dewan Syariah Nasional (DSN) dalam mengomunikasikan usul dan saran pengembangan produk dan jasa dari LKS yang memerlukan kajian dan fatwa dari DSN. Perekrutan DPS yang telah ditetapkan dalam Peraturan Bank Indonesia yaitu harus memiliki integritas, kompetensi dan reputasi keuangan harus dioptimalkan, diperketat dan formalisasi perannya harus diwujudkan pada bank syariah agar tercipta Good Corporate Governance yang menerapkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, responsibilitas, profesional, dan kewajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana deprivatisasi agama justru menyebabkan komodifikasi terhadap tren halal. Dimulai dari adanya globalisasi yang mendorong agama untuk tampil di ruang publik, dimana kesalehan pribadi banyak ditampilkan melalui simbol seperti halal. Perkembangan yang begitu pesat menjadikan halal sebuah doktrin agama yang tidak hanya dijadikan sebagai simbol kesalehan umat muslim. Label halal mulai digunakan diberbagai sektor kehidupan untuk menarik minat dan memberikan rasa yakin terhadap suatu produk. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai karya ilmiah, buku, jurnal dan artikel sebagai data sekunder penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, pemaparan dan kesimpulan dengan bentuk analisis Miles dan Hubermas. Hasil penelitian adalah globalisasi mendorong adanya deprivatisasi agama yang membuat umat muslim ingin menampilkan kesalehan di ruang publik yang diawali dengan kemunculan muslim kelas menengah. Melalui sekularisasi sosial, agama dijadikan sebagai gaya hidup dan berdampak terhadap tren halal yang merupakan praktik kesalehan masyarakat muslim kelas menengah yang cenderung konsumtif. Praktik konsumtif lebih didasarkan pada nilai yang akan memberikan status daripada nilai guna yang sesungguhnya. Perkembangan tersebut mendorong label halal sebagai simbol agama, dimanfaatkan sebagai alat memajukan sektor ekonomi. Halal menjadi praktik yang bermakna sebagai pemenuh kebutuhan spiritualitas sekaligus sebagai produk pendorong kapitalisme.

Abstract

The development of the times goes hand in hand with the development of technology and science, which automatically influences the world of education. Technology and education have a close relationship. In Indonesia, technology has been integrated into the curriculum system. The Indonesian government still implements an independent curriculum with the use of technology. A technology-appropriate and oriented curriculum system not only improves the quality of education but also serves as a catalyst for sustainable social and economic transformation. This is an interesting area to research, particularly in understanding the value of technology use in the educational curriculum. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The study, based on literature review, utilizes secondary data from existing studies. The research findings indicate that a curriculum system based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can create supportive learning environments. This is manifested in several ways, including engaging or interactive learning, more realistic learning experiences, more effective and efficient learning management, encouragement of independent learning, improved learning quality, flexible learning processes, and fostering positive responses in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengedukasi pentingnya pencegahan DBD saat adanya gejala dan mengedukasi kelompok sasaran tentang pencegahan sederhana dengan mendemonstrasikan spray serai dan jeruk nipis sebagai anti nyamuk. Metode dalam pengabdian ini mencakup penyuluhan dan demonstrasi tentang cara membuat semprotan anti nyamuk yang terbuat dari bahan alami, yaitu serai dan jeruk nipis. Tema yang diangkat adalah BERSEMI (Bersama Serai Alami), dengan ibu-ibu kader posyandu Desa Tanjungharjo sebagai kelompok sasaran dari penyuluhan ini. Gerakan edukasi dan demonstrasi spray anti nyamuk dari serai dan jeruk nipis yang dilaksanakan di Desa Tanjungharjo memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat, bahwa diperlihatkan dari hasil evaluasi banyaknya ibu kader Posyandu yang merasa mendapatkan manfaat dari kegiatan tersebut sebesar 38,76%.
