The activity began with a pre-test, interactive socialization on the importance of digital marketing and digital marketing optimization, and a post-test to measure the increase in understanding. The activity was attended by 20 participants aged 25–60 years, the majority of whom were housewives, with a high level of participation. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing, both theoretically and practically, such as content creation and social media promotion. This socialization was able to improve digital skills, confidence, and opportunities for increasing community income.Overall, this activity laid the foundation for a self-reliant digital economy and has the potential to be replicated in other rural areas to support sustainable development.

Abstract

ENGLISH The market mechanism in Islamic Economics emphasizes the need for balance (iqtishad) between the market, the state, and the individual, rejecting the dominance of one over the others , which differs from conventional markets that often experience distortions. This research is a conceptual study that analyzes the market mechanism concepts of two Islamic economic scholars: Ibn Khaldun (through his Muqaddimah) and Imam Al-Ghazali (through Ihya’ Ulumuddin). The research findings indicate that according to Ibn Khaldun, a nation's wealth is determined by its production level , the value of a product is equal to the amount of labor it possesses , and prices are determined by the law of supply and demand. He views gold and silver as the most suitable measures of value and monetary standards. Furthermore, the product price is distributed into three factors: income (producer's wage), profit (merchant's compensation), and tax (compensation for state officials/rulers). Meanwhile, Imam Al-Ghazali links all economic activities to morals and ethics , explains market movements by describing the shape of the supply curve (rising from bottom left) and the demand curve (descending from top right) , and asserts that the motive for trading must be to seek profit in this world and the hereafter, not just worldly profit. He considers the production of basic necessities a social obligation (fard al-kifayah). Overall, both figures conclude that the market must operate justly according to norms and principles derived from the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

Currently, material legal sources within the scope of sharia economic law are still very few. The existing sources of law are still general in sharia banking, even though there are cases of violations in the sharia economy which are also increasing along with the development of the sharia economy in Indonesia. The judge instead uses other sources of substantive law that are not in accordance with the principles of Sharia itself. In fact, the pure sources of substantive law derived from Islamic law do not serve as the primary legal sources, but only as legal opinions and doctrines. The aim of this research is to see the urgency of updating material legal sources in sharia economics. This type of research is qualitative. The results of this research are general facts that updating material legal sources is urgently needed. Because sharia economic violations are increasing, there needs to be a valid and concrete source of sharia economic law that can help resolve these cases. And from the results of other research, the source and legal basis for sharia case decisions still uses the Civil Code.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the zakat status of non-fungible token (NFT) creator earnings in Indonesia and to formulate an appropriate payment mechanism from the perspective of Islamic finance and national regulation. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research and semi-structured interviews, involving key informants from the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, supported by zakat jurisprudence, regulatory documents, and relevant NFT literature. The findings show that the object of zakat does not lie in the NFT as a digital token itself, but in the income realized from sales and royalties. Such income is more appropriately classified as income or professional zakat, with a nisab equivalent to 85 grams of gold and a 2.5% rate after fulfilling the requirements of haul and lawful ownership. The study also finds that, in the Indonesian context, zakat on NFT creator earnings cannot yet be paid in cryptocurrency due to both regulatory and Sharia considerations; therefore, such earnings must first be converted into lawful local currency. This study recommends the development of clearer zakat guidelines for digital assets, broader empirical research on NFT creators, and a more adaptive regulatory framework in response to the expansion of the digital economy.

Abstract

As Islamic educational institutions, Islamic boarding schools play a vital role in shaping the community’s understanding of the fulfillment of fardhu kifayah, including the proper procedures for caring for the deceased in accordance with Islamic law. However, based on conditions on the ground, there are still gaps in the knowledge and skills of both congregants and students regarding the correct procedures for handling the deceased. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of congregants and students regarding the care of the deceased in order to foster public awareness and preparedness in fulfilling the obligation of managing the deceased. The method used is the ABCD (Assets-Based Community Development) approach, which is based on needs for development. Data collection for this community service project was conducted through observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and documentation. The results of this community service study indicate that the congregation members’ and students’ understanding of managing the deceased has improved, particularly regarding preparing shroud materials for men and women, the positioning of the shroud, the number of ties, and the proper procedures for wrapping the body and securing the shroud in accordance with Islamic Sharia regulations. However, there were minor challenges among some elderly congregation members, resulting in less than optimal acceptance. Additionally, this program has had the added benefit of fostering collaboration between the community service team, the Islamic boarding school, and the congregation at Pesantren Al Ghazali.

Abstract

Abstract

The complexity of Hadith verification and the current diversity of schools of thought (madhhab) necessitate Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based solutions to provide a more efficient, structured, and unbiased analysis. The integration of AI raises fundamental questions regarding the normative authority of its legal outcomes, specifically whether AI can replace the role of a Mujtahid, who possesses intellect (aql) and intention (niyyah). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the shar'i ruling on the use of AI from a Fiqh perspective, focusing on three areas: mapping the technical capabilities of AI in Hadith and Usul Fiqh analysis, assessing the shar'i legal validity of AI products as either a hukm (binding ruling) or a wasīlah (aid/tool), and formulating an Islamic ethical framework (Akhlaq) for its development. This study employs a qualitative research method with a library research approach, comprehensively analyzing and interpreting data from primary and secondary literature, academic journals, and publications from fatwa institutions related to Usul Fiqh, technological ethics, and the implementation of AI in the religious field. Data analysis is conducted using a descriptive-analytical technique, where data concerning AI capabilities and Usul Fiqh principles are collected, classified, and critically analyzed to produce a systematic legal synthesis and ethical framework. The results of this study explain that the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Istinbāṭ al-Hukm is fundamentally permissible (mubah) as it supports the principles of Taisīr (ease) and Maslahah (public interest), making it an effective aid (wasīlah) for technical tasks such as sanad verification, data classification, and the analysis of Qat'i al-Dilālah Hadiths. However, the outcomes of istinbāṭ ḥukm generated by AI cannot be accepted as shar'i-ly binding legal decisions. This is because the authority of Ijtihād is inherently attached to humans, which is essential for understanding the Maqāṣid al-Sharī‘ah. Consequently, AI output must be treated as logical predictions that must be validated by a human Mujtahid. Furthermore, the use of AI is prohibited for Muamalah Hadiths, as the proofs (dalil) in muamalah fall under the category of Ẓannī al-Dilālah (speculative in meaning), which lack a single, clear, or direct definitive meaning, thus requiring further analysis, interpretation, or explanation to understand their true intended meaning.
