Abstract

Abstract

To fulfill the halal needs of consumers or the community of Pesantren, the implementation of a Halal Supply Chain in every product is very important. Moreover, in boarding schools that offer various business units, a halal supply chain can be applied to create a halal ecosystem to foster better social change. This study is a qualitative study with a comparative approach on the objects of Darussalam Drinking Water (AMIDAS) and Khizanah Bakery (Manufacturing) and Gambia Market (Retail/Distributor), which are business units of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.. The results of this study indicate that the supply chain in the PMDG business unit has been well implemented. Meanwhile, halal supply chain activities are divided into three; first, halal supply chain resources include organization, information management, physical separation, and Islamic human resources. Second, halal supply chain business processes are halal manufacturing and halal logistics. Third, the halal supply chain network for Amidas and Khizanah Gontor Bakery as producers sources materials from manufacturers, produces goods, stores them in warehouses, and distributes them to retailers, sub-retailers, and so on. Gambia as a distributor receives products from producers according to halal standards and then provides them to customers. All halal supply chain activities have been carried out in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Currently, material legal sources within the scope of sharia economic law are still very few. The existing sources of law are still general in sharia banking, even though there are cases of violations in the sharia economy which are also increasing along with the development of the sharia economy in Indonesia. The judge instead uses other sources of substantive law that are not in accordance with the principles of Sharia itself. In fact, the pure sources of substantive law derived from Islamic law do not serve as the primary legal sources, but only as legal opinions and doctrines. The aim of this research is to see the urgency of updating material legal sources in sharia economics. This type of research is qualitative. The results of this research are general facts that updating material legal sources is urgently needed. Because sharia economic violations are increasing, there needs to be a valid and concrete source of sharia economic law that can help resolve these cases. And from the results of other research, the source and legal basis for sharia case decisions still uses the Civil Code.

This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, the data sources used are primary and secondary data. and this research is included in field research with observation, interviews and documentation as techniques for data collection. Based on the results of the discussion from this research, it can be seen from Fiqh Muamalah that the practice of rahn contracts on People's Business Credit (KUR) products at the Kusumanegara sharia pawnshop is not in accordance with Islamic law because there is no Al-Marhun submitted by customers to the sharia pawnshop.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the zakat status of non-fungible token (NFT) creator earnings in Indonesia and to formulate an appropriate payment mechanism from the perspective of Islamic finance and national regulation. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research and semi-structured interviews, involving key informants from the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, supported by zakat jurisprudence, regulatory documents, and relevant NFT literature. The findings show that the object of zakat does not lie in the NFT as a digital token itself, but in the income realized from sales and royalties. Such income is more appropriately classified as income or professional zakat, with a nisab equivalent to 85 grams of gold and a 2.5% rate after fulfilling the requirements of haul and lawful ownership. The study also finds that, in the Indonesian context, zakat on NFT creator earnings cannot yet be paid in cryptocurrency due to both regulatory and Sharia considerations; therefore, such earnings must first be converted into lawful local currency. This study recommends the development of clearer zakat guidelines for digital assets, broader empirical research on NFT creators, and a more adaptive regulatory framework in response to the expansion of the digital economy.

Abstract

As Islamic educational institutions, Islamic boarding schools play a vital role in shaping the community’s understanding of the fulfillment of fardhu kifayah, including the proper procedures for caring for the deceased in accordance with Islamic law. However, based on conditions on the ground, there are still gaps in the knowledge and skills of both congregants and students regarding the correct procedures for handling the deceased. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of congregants and students regarding the care of the deceased in order to foster public awareness and preparedness in fulfilling the obligation of managing the deceased. The method used is the ABCD (Assets-Based Community Development) approach, which is based on needs for development. Data collection for this community service project was conducted through observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and documentation. The results of this community service study indicate that the congregation members’ and students’ understanding of managing the deceased has improved, particularly regarding preparing shroud materials for men and women, the positioning of the shroud, the number of ties, and the proper procedures for wrapping the body and securing the shroud in accordance with Islamic Sharia regulations. However, there were minor challenges among some elderly congregation members, resulting in less than optimal acceptance. Additionally, this program has had the added benefit of fostering collaboration between the community service team, the Islamic boarding school, and the congregation at Pesantren Al Ghazali.
