Abstract

Blended learning, which combines face-to-face and online learning, has become widely adopted in higher education to enhance flexibility and accessibility for students. However, challenges in interactive communication remain, particularly in complex subjects like Macroeconomics Theory at FKIP Universitas Jambi. This study explores the implementation of ethical approaches in teaching skills within blended learning environments. Utilizing a quantitative research method, data were collected through a survey of 200 students. The results indicate significant challenges in interactive communication, with 80% of students reporting difficulties, yet overall satisfaction and learning outcomes were high. This finding underscores the importance of integrating ethical principles in digital teaching to improve interaction quality and student understanding. Conclusions highlight the necessity of ongoing support for students and lecturers in ethical digital communication. Future research should consider longitudinal studies and qualitative approaches to provide deeper insights into the long-term effects and experiences of blended learning.

Abstract

creatively processing Jambi batik patchwork into home décor products and improves economic welfare. The initiative provides women with essential skills to produce valuable home décor items such as decorative cushions, tablecloths, and wall art from batik patchwork, a material traditionally considered textile waste. The program focuses on processing batik scraps into home décor products for wall hangings. By focusing on design, production, and digital marketing skills, the program fosters economic independence and strengthens the role of women in the local economy. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training and skills to Jambi Malay tribe women to produce home decor from batik scraps and transform batik scraps into home decor products with high added value to increase product competitiveness, develop and promote local product culture, and increase economic income. The results of the service showed practical skills, increased income, self-confidence, and social status of the participants. This sustainable approach promotes environmental conservation and supports local economic resilience, proving the long-term positive impact of empowering women in the creative industry on community welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of product innovation and e-commerce strategies in managing batik SMEs using a sustainability industry approach in Seberang, Jambi City. The study aimed to analyze how product innovation and digital marketing can support them, to explore their understanding and implementation of product innovation and e-commerce, as well as the challenges and sustainability outcomes. Data were collected through the following triangulation methods: observations were carried out during visits to batik workshops and SME locations, literature and document reviews relevant, and semi-structured interviews with in-depth Interviews were conducted with selected owners and managers of batik SMEs in Seberang Kota Jambi. The results showed that innovation in batik design, the use of eco-friendly materials, and the development of Jambi-specific motifs increased the market value of batik, strengthened cultural identity, and appealed to environmentally conscious consumers. On the other hand, e-commerce helped SMEs expand their market reach nationally and internationally, allowing them to compete more effectively. However, several challenges remain, including limited capital for innovation, low digital literacy among business owners, and a lack of policy support from the government. These barriers hindered the full adoption of innovation and digital strategies. Theoretically, this research contributed by enriching the concept of product innovation with a cultural and sustainability-based perspective, expanding the application of e-commerce theory to traditional MSMEs, and reinforcing sustainability theory in the creative industries rooted in local heritage. Moreover, it introduced a new managerial model that integrated local cultural values with modern digital business strategies, offering a practical framework for sustainable development in traditional SME sectors.

Abstract

This study examines the development of an effective income-maximization strategy by empowering informal sector women entrepreneurs in Jambi, Indonesia, through the Sustainable Livelihood Framework (SLF) approach. It addresses critical challenges including limited access to economic resources, socio-cultural constraints, and policy gaps that hinder women's full participation in entrepreneurship. The research explores the intersection of Jambi Malay cultural values with livelihood assets and empowerment initiatives to enhance women's income generation. Employing a qualitative methodology with a case study approach, the research utilizes in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings demonstrate that SLF serves as a valuable analytical tool for understanding the interplay of social capital, human capital, and cultural ethics in income generation. Key determinants of success include access to capital, culturally embedded business practices, product innovation, and strong social networks. However, barriers such as technological illiteracy and inadequate financial infrastructure persist. This study contributes to the discourse on women's economic empowerment by showcasing how culturally embedded frameworks can enhance resilience and optimize income generation. It offers strategic insights for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to develop inclusive and sustainable empowerment programs tailored to local contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on the use of QRIS among 11th grade students at Titian Teras H. Abdurrahman Sayoeti State Senior High School. Financial literacy and digital literacy are two important factors in supporting the adoption of digital payment technologies such as QRIS. The method used in this study is quantitative with a survey approach, using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 104 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the influence of independent variables (financial literacy and digital literacy) on the dependent variable (QRIS usage). The results of the study indicate that both financial literacy and digital literacy significantly and positively influence QRIS usage. Furthermore, financial literacy and digital literacy simultaneously contribute significantly to increasing QRIS usage among students. This study concludes that improving financial and digital literacy is crucial for promoting the adoption of digital payment technology among students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to identify the need for the development of an Economic Mathematics Learning System through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in participating in the learning process, 2) to develop a tool for making Economic Mathematics Learning System Development through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in following the process learning, and 3) measuring or knowing the validity of the Economic Mathematics Learning System through the MASTER Model for students of the Economic Education Study Program in participating in the lesson. The study results found that the validation of material experts and learning system experts (learning models), it can be seen that results of the validation of material experts are 4,44 or good and the results of validation by media experts are 4.33 or good. The results of interviews with lecturers and students as a whole showed good responses to the use of the MASTER learning model in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soft skills and hard skills on the readiness to become teachers of economic education students, class of 2021, Jambi University, both partially and simultaneously. This study is a quantitative approach with the ex-post facto method. The data collection technique uses Google Form. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The population in this study were economic education students, class of 2021 with a sample of 84 respondents and taken by simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it shows that partially the soft skill variable has a positive and significant effect on the readiness to become teachers with a t count value> t table. Partially, the hard skill variable has a positive and significant effect on the readiness to become teachers with a t count value> t table. Simultaneously, Soft Skills and Hard Skills have a positive and significant effect on Readiness to Become Teachers.

Abstract

Perkembangan suku bunga merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus diketahui oleh calon investor untuk dapat memprediksi pergerakan suatu harga saham perusahaan. Secara teori pergerakan suku bunga memiliki nilai yang searah dengan harga saham pada perbankan konvensional namun hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan pergerakan harga saham yang terjadi pada Bank BRI pada tahun 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui penilaian suku bunga (BI-7DRR) terhadap harga saham Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Persero Periode 2019-2022 serta untuk mengetahui arah nilainya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe data time series yang menggunakan data sekunder didapatkan melalui website resmi berupa www.bi.go.id dan www.investing.go.id. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dibantu dengan menggunakan Eviews 8. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya suku bunga memiliki tingkat nilai probabilitas 0,857 > 0,05 dengan nilai t-statistik 4.598. Sedangkan nilai constant atau nilai tetap (c) = 3952.674 dengan nilai suku bunga 3952.674. setiap nilai yang ditunjukkan menghasilkan nilai positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh teknologi digital dan pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi. Mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi angaktan 2021,2022 dan 2023 yang berjumlah sebanyak 323 mahasiswa merupakan populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Rumus Slovin digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menghitung ukuran sampel yang menghasilkan sampel akhir 178 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form. Metode analisis data yang digunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan bantuan alat analisis IBM SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan teknologi digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif dan pendidikan ekonomi dalam keluarga berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Secara simultan teknologi digital dan pendidikan ekonomi keluarga berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research & Development. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan pengembangan   bahan ajar e-modul berbasis canva pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran dan TIK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang merujuk pada model ADDIE, terdiri dari tahap analyze, design, develop, implement, dan tahap evaluated. Instrumen pengembangan menggunakan observasi, angket, dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar e-modul berbasis canva memeroleh kategori sangat layak berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dengan persentase nilai 92,9 %. Selain itu, berdasarkan validasi ahli media memperoleh kategori sangat layak dengan persentase 93,3 %. Serta memperoleh kategori sangat baik berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa dengan nilai 85,7 % setelah dilakukan uji coba lapangan.
