Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) strengthening project with the theme 'Sustainable Lifestyle' to apply environmental love in the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Bulawa. The Merdeka Belajar curriculum implemented in this school aims to develop 21st-century competencies through a learning approach that focuses on students' interests and talents. P5 is part of this curriculum which is expected to shape the character of students in accordance with the values of Pancasila. One of the themes chosen for P5 implementation is 'Sustainable Lifestyle', which aims to raise students' awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and managing waste. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach at SMP Negeri 1 Bulawa. Data was collected through observation, interviews with the principal, teachers and students, and documentation related to the implementation of the P5 project. The results showed that although procedurally, the P5 project has been implemented substantially, the implementation has not fully achieved the expected goals. Some of the problems found during the implementation of the project include the lack of student awareness of the importance of waste management, low student participation in providing creative ideas, and the existence of behaviours that do not reflect an environmentally friendly attitude, such as littering.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the differences in income levels between online (Maxim) and conventional motorcycle taxi drivers, and to identify the factors influencing the economy of online (Maxim) and conventional transport drivers. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach.The findings reveal a noticeable difference, where the average income of online motorcycle taxi drivers is higher than that of conventional drivers in Gorontalo City. Then, several factors influence the economy of those drivers, particularly the conventional drivers that switch to online transportation, including the utilization of technology and application access, flexible working hours, operating cost, tariff, total number of passengers, service quality, and distance.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of tourism management on the welfare of rural communities, using Trans Patoa Village in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency as a case study. Despite the village's natural tourism potential, community welfare remains low due to limited skills and employment opportunities. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a simple linear regression model to analyze the relationship between tourism management and community welfare. Data were collected from 40 local tourism service providers through validated and reliable instruments. The results show a strong and significant positive relationship between tourism management and community welfare, with a standardized coefficient (Beta) of 0.721 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings indicate that effective, inclusive, and community-based tourism management can significantly enhance economic conditions, job opportunities, and quality of life in rural areas. This research highlights the strategic role of tourism in sustainable rural development and offers recommendations for stakeholders to strengthen tourism governance and community empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of 2021 cohort students in the Economics Education Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Gorontalo. This research is motivated by the increasing tendency of consumptive behavior among students, which is influenced by easy access to information and modern lifestyles. The type of research used is quantitative research with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of statistical software. The results show that the variables of economic literacy and lifestyle simultaneously have a significant effect on students' consumptive behavior. The contribution of these two variables is 0.406 or 40.6%, while the remaining 59.4% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.These findings are expected to serve as a consideration for students to be wiser in managing their finances and forming a rational lifestyle, as well as to increase awareness of the importance of personal financial planning for a more stable and sustainable future well-being in today's modern social and economic environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operational costs and revenue on net profit in the Whale Shark Tourism Business in Botubarani Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to community members involved in the tourism activities, such as boat jockeys and local MSMEs operating around the tourist site. The sample consisted of 40 respondents. The data analysis technique employed in this study is multiple linear regression using the SPSS software. The results indicate that operational costs and revenue simultaneously have a significant effect on net profit. The influence of these two variables on net profit is 38.4%, while the remaining 61.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this model. These findings suggest that although operational costs and revenue contribute to determining net profit, other external factors play a more dominant role. Therefore, further research is needed to identify and analyze these factors to optimize the management of whale shark tourism businesses and support the sustainability and growth of the local economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Deep Learning Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi guru dalam melaksanakan kurikulum merdeka dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Deep Learning pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo dan untuk mengetahui aktor apa yang mempengaruhi Implementasi guru terhadap efektivitas kurikulum merdeka dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Deep Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo. Informan dalam penelitian ini ada 6 orang yaitu Guru ekonomi, Guru mata pelajaran lain, Kepala Sekolah, dan Wakasek bagian kurikulum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Prosedur pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan menggunakan pendekatan deep learning pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Gorontalo yaitu terdiri dari pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum merdeka, adanya perencanaan dan strategi pembelajaran, dan implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu seperti faktor perencanaan, faktor substansi (isi) kurikulum, dan faktor sarana dan prasarana.

Abstract

Educators are crucial in developing high-quality human resources. They serve not only as teachers but also as mentors and educators. Teachers must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability to change, and the ability to provide high-quality learning services in their roles. The purpose of this research is to identify the efforts made by the principal to improve teacher performance as well as the challenges faced at SMP Negeri 2 Popayato Barat. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources are teachers who serve as informants through in-depth interviews guided by an interview protocol. The data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the principal’s efforts to improve teacher performance are realized through a democratic leadership style, supervision of learning administration, providing motivation during meetings, verbal appreciation, and monitoring teacher discipline. However, the principal’s role is still not optimal due to infrequent academic supervision, insufficient communication, lack of firmness in rules, and limited appreciation mostly in the form of verbal support.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of library facilities on students' interest in reading books in economics for grades 10, 11, and 12, majoring in social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province. This study used a quantitative approach. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Based on the description above, the population in this study was 489 students in grades 10, 11, and 12 majoring in social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. The sample in this study was grades 10, 11, and 12. The analytical method used was simple linear regression. The results showed an effect. The results obtained a R-squared coefficient of 0.258. This value means that 25.8% of the variability in the variable of interest in reading economics textbooks for grades 10, 11, and 12 majoring in social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Kabila, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province can be explained by library facilities, while the remaining 74.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Financing contracts in Islamic banks are identical with their loyalty to maslahah as the goal of Islamic law. However, with the increasing demand for financing that contains maslahah mursalah, a deeper analysis is needed to what extent the contract is consistent with the maslahah parameters. This study aims to investigate the mortgage financing contract (PPR) in Islamic banks from the perspective of maslahah. The method uses a qualitative approach by analyzing contracts in PPR. This study also uses a comparative approach by comparing the fatwas of national and international sharia boards. The results of the study indicate that PPR contracts in Islamic banks are generally in line with the maslahah principle parameters mentioned in the us-l al-fiqh sources, so they are not contradictory to the Al-Quran and Sunnah. In addition, comparative analysis shows that the bank is consistent with the decisions of the DSN and other sharia standard institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh literasi digital, motivasi belajar, self-efficacy dan dukungan sosial terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah manajemen perkantoran modern di Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi konsentrasi perkantoran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif kolerasional dengan jumlah sampel 50 orang Mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi serta teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi Regresi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa literasi digital, motivasi belajar, self-efficacy dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah manajemen perkantoran modern di Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi Konsentrasi perkantoran. Nilai koefisien determinasi dari model regresi yang telah diperoleh sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh literasi digital, motivasi belajar, self-efficacy dan dukungan sosial terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah manajemen perkantoran modern di Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi konsentrasi perkantoran sebesar 0,793 atau 79,3% dan sisanya sebesar 20,7% ditentukan oleh faktor lain di luar model yang tidak diteliti.
