Abstract

This study discusses the application of the Project Based Learning Learning Model to increase student learning creativity. The purpose of this research is to find out how to increase student creativity with the Project Based Learning model. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method, which describes and reveals the process and results of student learning creativity. The object of research is creativity, learning models and market day. The work product serves as material for testing and assessing the competence of students. The results of this study indicate an increase in student creativity.

Abstract

Quality education is strongly influenced by several factors, including teachers. In order to transfer his knowledge, a student must be able to acquire social skills and develop the application of democracy in his own life practice as an interaction with the community environment. Social studies education learning patterns should have been changed, both as teachers and students. Teachers as the vanguard have broad opportunities to open up carawala and treasures of mastery of approaches and methods for transforming social studies learning. Changing a new paradigm in social studies teaching is urgently needed nowadays, which aims to build good citizens. Students who receive social studies education can change their minds, that learning social studies can make these students ready to enter society under any circumstances. Through social studies education, it is hoped that civilized human resources (HR) will be formed, namely human resources who are educated (knowledgeable and skilled) and cultured (with strong character).

Abstract

Educators are professionals whose job is to plan and implement the learning process, assess learningoutcomes, conduct mentoring and training, and conduct research and community service. This paper aims to find the meaning of the existence of professional social studies educators or teachers. In this case it aims to determine the extent of the important role of a teacher in increasing professionalism in teaching and learning activities, especially social studies teachers. In this study we used a qualitative method. Increasing the Professionalism of Social Sciences teachers has its own challenges to measure the success of student learning activities, so that learning objectives are achieved. Universal social studies lessons are a challenge for every teacher to improve their ability to create interesting teaching methods. Characteristics Skills in the modern era need to be mastered by all social studies teachers from innovation, digitalization and collaboration on the values of life in society. It can be said that the professionalism of social studies teachers greatly influences the values of human civilization on this earth. Abstract

Social sciences at the school level is basically aimed to prepare students as citizens who master knowledge, skills, attitudes and values , that can be used as an ability to make decisions and participate in various community activities in order to become good citizens. To achieve these objectives, this paper discusses the development of teaching social studies in elementary education, which consists of: 1) recognize the concepts associated with society and the environment, 2) have the basic ability to think logically and critically, curiosity, inquiry, problem solving, and social skills in life, and 3) a commitment and awareness of social values and humanity, 4) have the ability to communicate, cooperate and competation in a pluralistic society, locally, nationally and globally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of reading and writing on students' speech abilities. This research was conducted at East Jakarta Private Senior High School. The time of the research was carried out from September to December 2022. The method used in this study was descriptive (expost facto), namely the procedure for solving problems that are currently happening by describing or describing the facts in the field as they really are. The analysis technique used is correlational. These findings indicate that the variable data on reading skills varies quite a bit. The normality test results obtained with the SPSS 17.0 for Windows process variable reading skills (X1) on students' speech abilities (Y) can be seen in the graph or figure 5.4 that the data (dots) spread around the diagonal line and the distri-bution follows the diagonal line which means that regression is feasible to use to predict the reading skill variable (X1) based on the input of the speech ability variable (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of journalistic language in the headlines of CNNIndonesia.com media technology headlines. The approach in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. In collecting data using documentation and interview techniques. The research data is in the form of news sentences in which there are characteristics of journalistic language, and the source of the data comes from online news CNNIndonesia.com editorial technology. The results of the study show the use of journalistic language characteristics obtained from the main news CNNIndonesia.com editorial technology February - April 2022 edition covering a total of 44 findings of journalistic language characteristics. These characteristics are divided into 9 characteristics, consisting of Simple as many as 0 findings, Brief and Condensed as many as 4, Straightforward as many as 7 findings, Clear as many as 11 findings, Clear as many as 8 findings, Interesting as many as 12 findings, Democratic as many as 0 findings, Populist as many as 0 findings, and Logical as many as 3 findings.   Keyword : Characteristics journalistic language headlines

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the habit of reading comic books with the writing ability of class X students of SMK PGRI 16 East Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it is known that there is a significant relationship between reading habits of comic books and writing skills of students in class X SMK PGRI 16 East Jakarta. This is because based on the results of the t-test, it is obtained that tcount = 8.219 > ttable = 2.0252. The two variables are strongly correlated. That's because based on the results of the correlation analysis obtained r = 0.80. This relationship is categorized as high/strong because it is in the range between 0.60 – 0.80. The contribution of the habit of reading comic books to the writing ability of students in class XI SMK PGRI 16 East Jakarta is 64%. Keywords: Reading comic book, Writing skill

Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the use of the Skimming Method Technique on the Reading Interest of Class XI Students at Fatahillah Islamic Vocational School Jakarta in the 2020/2021 Academic Year. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMA Islam Fatahillah as many as 50 people. Samples were taken as a whole, namely 35 people, 15 people for the experimental class and 20 people for the control class. The research method used in this research is quantitative with correlational research design. The instrument used aims to detect the extent to which variations in a factor are related to variations in one or more other factors based on the correlation coefficient. Based on the calculation results, the total scores of the variables X and Y are entered into the product moment correlation formula to connect the scores. Thus obtained, rxy = 0.95. The magnitude of the contribution of X and Y is seen from the magnitude of the coefficient number with a determination of r, which is 0.9025 or 90.25%. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that r arithmetic was greater than r table (0.95 > 0.334) this indicates that there is a significant influence between the skimming method on reading interest in class XI students of Fatahillah Islamic Vocational School Jakarta in the 2020/2021 learning year. Abstract

In every age, education is the most important thing for life and must receive very serious attention. The education system must be of quality so that human life in all aspects improves. In every era that has passed, various things have been found to improve learning, including in this case the media that is always used in every lesson, this learning media has definitely developed according to the times. It is hoped that with the development of the application it can be used as a medium for both teachers and students to interact in the teaching process.

Abstract

Motivation and learning are two things that influence each other. One of the influencing factors in the learning process is environmental factors, namely parenting, because parenting can influence students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between parenting styles and the learning environment with students' learning motivation at SMAN 103 Jakarta. This research was conducted at SMAN 103 Jakarta. The sample consisted of 141 students of SMAN 103 Jakarta. The type of research conducted in this research is quantitative. From these results, the hypothesis which states that there is an influence between parenting and the learning environment simultaneously on students' learning motivation is accepted. There is a significant and positive influence between parenting style on student learning motivation with the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) multiple regression between the independent variables and the dependent variable which is equal to 0.122. This value indicates that the parenting style and learning environment simultaneously contributed 12.2% to student learning motivation and the remaining 87.8% was influenced by other factors on employee performance but were not included in this study. It was concluded that parenting style influences students' learning motivation. It is suggested to parents and schools to be able to apply good parenting, create learning situations that can stimulate students' interest to study hard and pay attention to children's school needs.
