Abstract

This research aims to identify the ways in which the urban regulations of Padang Beach have affected the ways in which street sellers do business. The author carried out this study by employing descriptive qualitative methods. Interviews and documentation are the means of data collection employed in this study. After completing the data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing steps of the data analysis process, conclusions were drawn. This study draws on Blackman's theory of urban policy, which focusses on public service provision and access improvement in metropolitan areas. According to the study's findings, both enabling and limiting variables impact the implementation of street vendor arrangements from an urban policy standpoint. The problems faced in structuring street vendors are regulations and institutions, availability of land for developing facilities, empowerment and supervision and partnerships and the role of the community. So, to fix issues with street vendor management in the Padang Beach region, we need a more holistic and coordinated approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal supervision, learning organization, and creativity on classroom management effectiveness among civil servant teachers at public elementary schools in Cisauk District. The research method used is quantitative, utilizing SPSS for statistical calculations. The research sample consists of 120 teachers selected through purposive sampling from a population of 221 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that: (1) Principal supervision had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (2) Learning organization had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (3) Creativity had a direct positive effect on classroom management effectiveness; (4) Principal supervision has a direct positive effect on creativity; (5) Learning organization has a direct negative effect on creativity; (6) There is an indirect effect of principal supervision on classroom management effectiveness through creativity; (7) There is no indirect effect of learning organization on classroom management effectiveness through creativity. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of improving the quality of principal supervision, strengthening learning organizations that maintain space for creativity, and encouraging teacher innovation in classroom management. It is recommended that schools conduct regular training and seminars to improve these three variables.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiential learning process within the International Young Bodhisattva Program 2025, organized by the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) at Hongshi Buddhist College, Taiwan. This program is designed to develop a cross-national generation of young people with social awareness, deep spirituality, and practical skills for realizing social transformation. The research approach used was a descriptive qualitative case study method. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and activity documentation. Data analysis was conducted inductively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that this program has a significant impact on the development of social awareness, spiritual transformation, and cross-cultural collaboration. This program serves as an alternative educational model that integrates spirituality, critical reflection, and social action, in line with the contemporary transformative education paradigm.

Abstract

This study examines the role of assistance and collaboration in enhancing the effectiveness of policy innovation within the Bandung City Government. Amid rapid social and environmental changes, governments face increasing demands for innovative public services that address urban challenges and community needs. By employing a participatory assistance approach, this research evaluates the effectiveness of mentoring programs targeting regional apparatus organizations in Bandung, involving frameworks like Design Thinking and Theory of Change. Results indicate significant improvements in participants' understanding of regional innovation indicators, collaborative stakeholder engagement, and program evaluation methodologies. Despite progress, challenges persist, including structural barriers, limited resources, and cultural resistance to change. The findings highlight the need for leadership support, transparent regulations, and sustainable resource allocation to foster an innovation-friendly environment. This paper offers actionable policy recommendations to strengthen regional innovation and improve public service delivery in Bandung, setting a foundation for sustainable urban governance.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to address the need of Pondok Pesantren At-Tadzkir Maja for a more effective planning mechanism regarding the number of new student applicants, which previously lacked a data-driven prediction system. The purpose of this program is to implement a prediction model for forecasting the number of prospective students by utilizing the Prophet algorithm developed in prior research, and to provide an accessible predictive dashboard for operational use by the institution. The implementation involved needs assessment, model integration into the online admission system, dashboard development, user training, and evaluation of the administrators’ understanding. The results indicate that the model runs automatically and produces informative daily forecasts, while the dashboard enables administrators to interpret trend and seasonal patterns to support capacity planning and admission strategies. The program concludes that the implementation successfully improves the pesantren’s ability to make data-driven decisions, and it is recommended that future work integrates additional external variables and ensures regular model updates to maintain predictive accuracy.

Abstract

Leadership style as a way of directing and managing all elements within an organization has a significant influence on the achievement of an organization. Leadership style requires appropriate placement according to needs, so leadership style will determine the quality of an organization's work in achieving its goals. This study aims to describe the style and influence of leadership and discipline on employee work effectiveness at PT. Mamypoko's Padang branch. The research was conducted using qualitative methods and a descriptive approach. Specifically, this study found that the leadership style applied at PT. Mamypoko's Padang branch is a mix of several leadership styles, namely democratic and bureaucratic. This can be seen from the monitoring attitude shown by leaders in managing and directing all elements within the organization. The substantive conclusion of this article is that the use of several leadership style models in a workplace will improve the quality of work of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate models in terms develop Bongkudai Baru Village by the concept of Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Soft System Methodology (SSM) is used to complete these neccesity. Definitively, SSM can be interpreted as a process to find out what is most important from everyday real life; SSM users do learning that starts from identifying to achieving and optimizing the function of this problem (Checkland and Poulter, 2006 in Sudarsono, 2012). This is qualitative research, with observation, in depth interview and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to obtain primary data. Meanwhile, secondary data obtained through a literature study of sources that have relevance to the focus of the study. The results of the study revealed that the development model is based on activities carried out by the local community with the SSM method, namely: a) understanding and identifying potentials and resources availability; b) enhance community awareness in engaging directly and collaborating towards development process; c) create local institutional instruments; d) formulating actions, implementation, management and control; e) formulate operational regulations and procedures for the implementation of tourism activities; and f) Building and developing businesses in the tourism sector to increase equal benefits and comprehensive manner.

Abstract

Sekolah Minggu Buddha (SMB) memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai ajaran Buddha sejak usia dini. Namun, hingga saat ini masih ditemukan keterbatasan bahan ajar yang terstruktur dan sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan pembelajaran di SMB belum berjalan secara optimal, terutama bagi pembina yang belum memiliki pengalaman mengajar yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar Sekolah Minggu Buddha berbasis cerita Jataka yang dilengkapi dengan aktivitas pembelajaran menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, serta validasi ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan dinilai layak oleh ahli materi, bahasa, dan media. Uji validitas isi menggunakan indeks Aiken menghasilkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,58 yang berada pada kategori memadai. Dengan demikian, buku ajar berbasis cerita Jataka ini dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar alternatif yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas dan daya tarik pembelajaran agama Buddha bagi anak-anak di Sekolah Minggu Buddha.

Abstract

Digitalisasi hidroponik merupakan usahatani yang tren diminati oleh generasi muda dan menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan produksi dan kualitas hasil panen. Meningkatnya produksi kualitas hasil panen secara nyata dapat mewujudkan keberlanjutan usahatani. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilakukan dengan menerapkan model usaha tani hidroponik berbasis digital pada komunitas usahatani generasi muda. Tujuan yang diharapkan yaitu dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan hasil dan keberlanjutan usahatani hidroponik yang dilakukan oleh kelompok mitra. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan, usahatani sayur segera pada hidroponik yang dilakukan mitra dapat meningkat secara signifikan karena sistem hidroponik sudah diaplikasikan model digital, yaitu alat otomatisasi pemantauan dan stabilitasi kebutuhan nutrisi, suhu air, suhu ruang dan pH air. Aplikasi sistem keuangan digital juga dapat membantu kelompok mitra dalam melakukan pencatatan keuangan secara efektif dan efisien.
