Abstract

The number of cases of environmental damage and pollution that occurred in Batam has made the Environmental Service (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup/DLH) create a complaint station a forum for the public to be able to report all allegations related to the occurrence of environmental pollution and/or damage. The increasing number of cases of environmental damage and pollution is indicated by the increasing number of complaints reported by the public to the agency and the many obstacles faced by the community. The purpose of this activity, among others, is to find out the requirements for public complaints and provide information about the flow of complaints handling carried out by the DLH Batam City so that the information obtained is accurate enough to make the public more sensitive to the surrounding environment to report any pollution actions. The implementation method in carrying out PKM activities passes through several stages. At the initial stage, PKM preparations were carried out to the relevant agencies. The next stage will be observation and identification of the subject matter and carry out data collection which will be analyzed at the Batam City Environmental Service. The author makes a project output design based on practical workplace conditions. At the last stage the author makes a PKM report. The results of this PKM show information regarding the complain station in the settlement of alleged cases of environmental damage and pollution based on the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment Number 22 of 2017 concerning procedures for managing complaints of alleged environmental pollution/damage and destruction. Forest. The output of the project made by the author is a stage that takes place at the PKM location

Abstract

The Legal Aid Institute is one of the legal aid providers according to Law No. 16 of 2011 concerning Legal Aid. The Peduli dan Harapan Bangsa Legal Aid Institute is one of the legal aid agencies in Batam City which engaged in the social and humanitarian issues. Legal assistance offered can be in the form of litigation and non-litigation. The case number 566/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.Btm is one of the case which assisted by Peduli dan Harapan Bangsa Legal Aid Institute. Therefore, the article aims to discuss how the legal assistance of Peduli dan Harapan Bangsa Legal Aid Institue in case number 566/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.Btm. The use of qualitative approach from primary and secondary data through interview, observation and documentation techniques is to answering the research problem. The results found were The Legal Aid Institute of Peduli dan Harapan Bangsa require several conditions to be met in order to get the assistance. Meanwhile, the case with the relevant case number has met the requirements given by and received a number of forms of legal assistance.

Abstract

Waste management in Batam City is an important aspect that must be monitored carefully because it is closely related to environmental sanitation and order. For Batam city, regulations regarding waste management are regulated in Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2013 concerning Waste Management in Batam City. In this article, the author will explain how the implementation of this Regional Regulation in Batam City is related to the handling of illegal landfills (TPS) which of course causing a negative impact on the environment and also the appropriate penalty to countermeasures this problem. In this article, the method used by the author is the implementation method as for the stages, namely: The initial stage is preparation of PKM to agencies regarding the application for PKM permits and permission to conduct research related to the title chosen. The next stage will be observation and identification of the subject matter and carry out data collection to be analyzed at the Batam City Environmental Service. The author makes a project output design based on the practical workplace conditions. The last stage in this is the author processes the data that has been obtained and makes a PKM report. Then the author also designs the output which is the result of the practical work.
