Abstract

Indonesia adalah tempat sangat strategis yang dahulu menjadi jalur perdagangan internasional, hal ini menyebabkan pada titik-titik tertentu terdapat peninggalan sejarah dan kebudayaan yang kemudian menjadi warisan sejarah dan budaya di Indonesia. Begitupun pada Parakan, Parakan merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Temanggung, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Parakan juga memiliki sejarah dan kebudayaan, dengan demikian perlu pengelolaan heritage trail untuk menarik wisatawan mempelajari sejarah dan budaya Parakan selain warga setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori “Guidelines For Heritage Trails”, dengan tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melestarikan sejarah dan budaya Parakan dan mengkaji heritage trail yang sudah ada di Parakan menggunakan teori “Guidelines For Heritage Trails”.

Abstract

This paper examines the morphological changes of Depok City in one century (1920- 2020) by using a morphological component approach of land use, road patterns, and building patterns. This study used the historical method, which includes four stages: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the morphological growth of Depok City showed significant growth and changes. The land use of Depok City in the last century has shown changes with an increase in the residential, trade, and service sectors, and industry, on the other hand, a reduction in the agricultural and plantation sectors. The street pattern network of Depok City shows a change from a linear pattern to a spinal pattern and currently has a mixed pattern. The building pattern that was previously linear then spread to cover almost the entire Depok area. The residential, religious, and colonial-style agricultural products storage buildings are now developing into modern-style residential.

Abstract

Apartment is a room or several rooms (rooms) that are functioned or designated as a place to live, located in a building that usually has other rooms or rooms and the like. This study attempts to explore and analyze the relationship between residential space patterns and student behavior patterns in Jakarta. The behavioral patterns of students that affect the pattern of vertical residential spaces not only have an impact on the behavior and form of space but also see how student behavior shapes architecture in residential space patterns and architecture shapes student behavior. The purpose of this study is to understand the theory related to the relationship between vertical residential space patterns and student behavior patterns, to understand the characteristics of the relationship between residential space patterns and student behavior, to understand environmental factors for student behavior. The research method taken on the research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data studied and obtained are physical and non-physical data obtained from interviews, observations, and mapping of student behavior patterns in residential spaces of Jakarta apartments. The approach that will be used is the Human Behavior approach to students in apartment housing. From the analysis of behavior patterns carried out, student activities are quite dense, causing the use of furniture according to needs and has ergonomic characteristics.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago country that consists of various ethnic groups which have different cultural traditions according to the region itself. This cultural tradition has existed for generations, and it should be maintained and preserved by the Indonesian. The development of times, it makes the local value ​​of traditional culture slowly disappear. In prevention, the application of this ethnic architecture concept can preserve the culture of a nation. One of building that has the ethnic architecture concept is the Beringharjo Market in Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method using a case study approach that aims to know how the application of the Ethnic Architecture concept in the Beringharjo Market. The construction of this market reflects the Javanese ethnic culture that prioritizes harmony. The space planning of Beringharjo Market contains Javanese philosophy and the mixture of ethnicities, one of them is European ethnicity. We can see the mixture through the shape of building, this market adopts European style and traditional Javanese style. The acculturation process of two cultures that is Javanese and European cultures shows us that the mixture culture is not limited to the locality but also across continents since the olden days. We can apply the glory of the palace to this market building that has a lower degree, especially to some elements of this building using some adjustments.

Abstract

This research is part of multi-year research, which is undertaken for two years. This research aims to analyze the possibility of applying three principles of Transit Oriented Development’s (TOD) concept. Those three principles are densifying, mixing, and compacting. By analyzing the option of applying those principles, it have been proposed the best solution to issues and problems within the historical area of Kota Tua Jakarta. The significance of this research is the historical area in Indonesia, particularly Jakarta Kota Tua, which has been regarded as a historical area within a metropolitan city. Since that the idea of TOD itself has been known as a perfect solution in some countries, particularly within metropolitan cities that have a relatively large population. This research has conducted the qualitative method using a case study as a way of thinking to get a clear description and fact. Kota Tua Jakarta has been designated as a case study because this area is one of the study significant historical regions in Jakarta. The result of this research will support another about the historical district and Transit-Oriented Development’s concept.

Abstract

The underwater building is a building that has its uniqueness where this building in terms of its location is below the surface of the water, besides that this building has its uniqueness from the shape of the building, for example in a typical study of an underwater restaurant located in Southern Norway called restaurant Under This building was chosen because it is an underwater building and has its uniqueness in the building. Research on underwater buildings is carried out to find out what applications are used and what concepts are used in underwater buildings. For the data processing method using a comparative method where this research method is an analytical variable from the results of the combination between data from the theory of architectural elements and the principles of water. And produce a variable to analyze underwater buildings such as shape, space, color, and texture or material.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Penyediaan ruang terbuka publik di dalam perkotaan terutama di kota metropolitan seperti Jakarta menjadi sebuah issue yang tidak pernah terselesaikan dengan baik. Terbatasnya lahan perkotaan dan juga area bebas yang seharusnya disediakan untuk ruang terbuka publik sangat sulit didapatkan.Saat ini sebagai salah satu solusinya, pemerintah daerah memiliki kemauan dalam memikirkan solusi masalah ini, dan mendorong otoritas daerah untuk menyediakan area ruang terbuka publik. Ruang terbuka public dapat didefinisikan sebagai taman, ruang terbuka hijau di dalam kota, yang menyediakan beberapa fasilitas di dalam area tersebut. Ruang terbuka public ini akan menjadi tempat yang penting bagi setiap orang yang tinggal di sekitarnya jika area ruang terbuka public tersebut dapat menyediakan fasilitas yang dapat digunakan sebagai tempat bersosialisasi, bertemu dengan orang baru (networking), sebagai titik kumpul ataupun untuk aktifitas lainnya. Ruang terbuka public ini juga dapat menjadi tempat yang menarik bila tempat tersebut menyediakan beberapa fasilitas pendukung bagi berbagai aktifitas baik untuk anak, dewasa maupun orang tua seperti fasilitas olahraga, fasilitas bermain anak, tempat pasif untuk relaksasi dan juga sebagai area konservasi untuk kawasan hijau.Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis pola bagaimana orang-orang khususnya pengunjung ruang terbuka public tersebar di dalam area yang dikaitkan dengan posisi dari fasilitas-fasilitas tersebut. Taman Tabebuya yang berlokasi di Ciganjur Jagakarsa dipilih menjadi studi kasus, karena taman ini merupakan salah satu  ruang terbuka publik yang dianggap indah di Jakarta Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan memberikan beberapa data yang dikumpulkan khususnya pada hari Sabtu dan Minggu sepanjang hari dengan waktu-waktu tertentu yaitu pagi, siang dan sore hari. Kata kunci : ruang terbuka publik, Tabebuya, pola sebaran Abstract. Providing public opening space inside city in Metropolitan city like Jakarta is becomes one of an issue. The limited land and area which should be provided for publicopening space, is very hard to find. Nowadays, local government is willing to think about this issue, and encourage local authority to provide the area for public opening space. Public opening space could be defined as a parks, green opening space within city which providing some facilities within the area. This public opening space will become an important place for people around if that area of public opening space can provide facilities than can be used as a place for socialization, for networking, for meeting point and for other activities. This public opening space will become more exciting place, if the place consists some of supporting facilities can be used for children, mature and elder people such as sport activities, playground facilities, passive place for relaxation, and as a conservation area for green area. This research is aimed to analyze the pattern of how people is distributed within area referring to the facilities existed. Taman Tabebuya which is located in Ciganjur Jagakarsa, has been chosen as a case study, because this place has been regarded as one of beautiful garden in South Jakarta. Abstrak_Ketika kita bicara tentang kawasan kota kita perlu membahas tentang manusia yang berada di dalamnya, dikarenakan banyak sekali ketika kita memikirkan kawasan kota tidak banyak dari mereka yang memperlihatkan dari sisi mikronya yaitu manusia Maka dari itu, penelitian ini mempermasalahkan bagaimana penerapan prinsip teori lima elemen citra kota pada Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta, kemudian bagaimana mengkaji teori lima elemen citra kota pada Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta. Dari permasalahan muncul tujuan dari penelitian ini dapat menjelaskan penerapan prinsip lima elemen citra kota pada Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta. Adapun hasil yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menjelaskan path, edges, node, district, dan landmark dari Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini terhadap Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta adalah Path di dalam kawasan ini ditunjukkan dengan jalur kendaraan, kereta api, sungai, pedestrian, kemudian Edges di dalam kawasan ini ditunjukkan dengan batasan sungai yang membatasi antara zona inti dan zona penunjang, kemudian node di dalam kawasan ini ditunjukkan dengan persimpangan jalan yang terhubung ke kawasan zona inti Kota Tua Jakarta, kemudian district di dalam kawasan ini ditunjukkan dengan kawasan inti dan penunjang sebagai pembeda antara distrik satu dengan yang lainnya, kemudian di dalam kawasan ini ditunjukkan dengan Museum Fatahillah.Kata kunci: Lima Elemen; Kevin Lynch; Kawasan Kota Tua Jakarta Abstract_ When we talk about the city area we need to talk about the human being in it, because there are so many things when we think that the city is not many of them that show from the side of the Micronics man, therefore, This study disputed how to apply the theory principle of five elements of the city image in the Old City area of Jakarta, then how to examine the five elements of the city image element in the Old City area of Jakarta. From the problem arising, the purpose of this research can explain the application of the principle of five components of city image in the Old City area Jakarta. The result of this research is to describe the path, edges, nodes, district, and landmarks of the Old City area of Jakarta. Abstract

Abstrak_ Desain yang kontekstual merupakan desain yang dapat diterima atau dikenali oleh masyarakat dan selaras atau harmoni dengan lingkungan sekitar. Namun kontekstualitas pada bangunan juga dapat mengenalkan bentuk baru yang selaras dengan lingkungan (dikenal dengan istilah kontras) dan desain bangunan yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Konsep kontekstual biasanya diterapkan pada kawasan-kawasan bersejarah dimana terdapat bangunan bersejarah yang masih dilestarikan. Salah satu kawasan bersejarah yang masih melestarikan nilai-nilai sejarah yaitu Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang. Bangunan sejarah yang ada pada Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang  memiliki nilai sejarah yang tinggi. Hal ini karena, bangunan bersejarah yang ada menggambarkan pengaruh budaya lain pada Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang. Pada bangunan bersejarah, konsep kontekstual dapat dilihat dari motif desain bangunan, bentuk dasar bangunan, dan nilai sejarah. Konsep kontekstual bentuk memiliki dua prinsip yaitu kontras dan harmoni. Prinsip kontekstual bentuk bangunan sangat penting penerapannya pada suatu kawasan terutama kawasan bersejarah. Hal ini dapat mempertahankan identitas kawasan, khususnya Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang yang memiliki beragam bangunan. Metode deskriptif kualitatif merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Metode ini digunakan untuk menjelaskan secara deskriptif penerapan arsitektur kontekstual dalam segi bentuk bangunan melalui prinsip yang ada dengan mengetahui batasan kawasan dan jenis-jenis bangunan yang ada pada Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang. Hasil yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan memberikan pemahaman mengenai prinsip-prinsip arsitektur kontekstual pada bentuk bangunan bersejarah di Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang.Kata kunci : Kawasan Bersejarah; Kontekstual; Prinsip Kontekstual; Kota Lama Semarang. Abstract_ Contextual Concept is a design that can be accepted or recognized by the community and in harmony with the surrounding environment. However, contextuality in the building can introduce new forms that are in harmony with the environment (familiar with Contrast) and pre-existing building designs. Contextual Concept usually applies to the historical areas that still preserve historical values. One of the historical areas that still preserve historical values is Semarang Old City. Historical buildings that exist in Semarang Old City have a high historical value. It is because existing historic buildings illustrate the influence of other cultures in Semarang Old City. In the historical building, contextual concepts can be seen from the building design motifs, the basic form of the building, and historical value. The concept of contextual form has two principles, namely contrast, and harmony. The contextual principle of the building form is fundamental to be applied in historical areas. It can maintain the identity of the region, especially Semarang Old City which has a variety of buildings. The qualitative descriptive method was used in this study. This method was used to explain the application of contextual architecture descriptively in terms of building shapes through existing principles by knowing the boundaries of the area and types of buildings that exist in Semarang Old City. The results had been achieved from this study were to identify and provide an understanding of the contextual architectural principles of the shape of historic buildings in Semarang Old City.Keywords:  Historic District; Contextual; Contextual Principles; Semarang Old City.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin hari semakin bertambah mengakibatkan kepadatan penduduk pada suatu wilayah. Perkotaan  merupakan salah satu wilayah yang signifikan terkena dampak dari kepadatan penduduk tersebut. TOD (Transit Oriented Develompent) merupakan konsep kawasan perkotaan yang memiliki visi untuk menjadi solusi terhadap dampak dari kepadatan penduduk. Kawasan TOD merupakan kawasan perkotaan yang relatif kompleks dan rumit. Kawasan ini memiliki kecenderungan membuat orang-orang merasa bingung dan tersesat dalam beraktivitas atau bergerak. Penelitian ini membahas tentang elemen-elemen linkage visual  berdasarkan teori linkage visual Roger Trancik dan menganalisis penerapan terhadap kawasan TOD. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa elemen-elemen linkage visual yang teridentifikasi cenderung mengarahkan (membentuk pola) dan mempertegas aktivitas dengan titik pusat kawasan TOD.Kata Kunci: Kawasan; Linkage Visual; TOD (Transit Oriented Development)Abstract_ Population growth is increasingly increasing, resulting in overcrowding in a region. Urban is one area that is significantly affected by population density. TOD (Transit Oriented Development) is an urban area concept that has the vision to be a solution to the impact of population density. The TOD area is a relatively complex and complicated metropolitan area. This area has a tendency to make people feel confused and lost in activities or moving. This study discusses the elements of visual linkage based on Roger Trancik's visual linkage theory and analyzes the application to the TOD region. The results of the study concluded that the details of identified visual linkage tended to direct (form patterns) and reinforce activities with the focal point of the TOD region.Keyword: District, Linkage Visual, TOD (Transit Oriented Development)
