Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine how the impact of pencak silat coaching on social behavior at Bina Anak Bangsa IT Junior High School. This research method is a comparative research. The population of this study was 17 students and determined the sample using probability sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale questionnaire to measure students' social behavior. The data collection technique uses calculating the overall questionnaire, questionnaire indicator criteria, % per questionnaire indicator. The data analysis technique uses data processing and analysis carried out in a quantitative way using descriptive-analytical statistics. The results of the Independent T-Test test obtained P-Value Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001 where the value is smaller than 0.05 so that the hypothesis is rejected. That there are results of significant differences between social behavior tends to be high with a percentage of 41.1% compared to the social behavior of students who do not participate in activities tends to be low with a percentage of 47%. The conclusion that there are differences in social behavior between the two variables. It can be said that extracurricular pencak silat coaching activities can have a positive influence on the social behavior of students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh latihan shooting dengan metode zig-zag dan metode bola diam terhadap akurasi shooting. Metode yang digunakan yakni penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan desain randomized control group pretest posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pemain club SMP Negeri 1 Moutong sebanyak 33 orang. 11 orang latihan metode zig-zag dan 11 orang latihan metode bola diam dan 11 orang kelompok kontrol dengan pelatihan konvesnional. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dependen. Hasil uji beda dapat diketahui bahwa nilai thitung pada kelompok metode zig-zag 3.490, kelompok metode bola diam 6.171, kelompok kontrol dengan nilai 1.936. Pengaruh yang diperoleh dari nilai p = 0.006 < 0.05 pada kelompok metode zig-zag dan p = 0.000 < 0.05 pada kelompok metode bola diam, yang berarti bahwa kedua metode pelatihan dapat meningkatkan akurasi shooting dalam permainan sepak bola. Kesimpulan penelitian ini: ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan shooting dengan metode zig-zag dan bola diam terhadap akurasi shooting. Kelompok metode bola diam lebih baik dari kelompok metode zig-zag dan kelompok konvensional dalam meningkatkan akurasi shooting.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a kata training model in karate through game-based methods to enhance technical skills, motivation, and self-confidence among beginner athletes (kohai). Based on observations and questionnaires conducted at INKANAS Dojo in Donggala Regency, several issues were identified such as low athlete motivation, monotonous training routines, and lack of engaging learning methods. To address these challenges, the researcher designed a structured and enjoyable game-based training model tailored for children aged 8–13 years. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the eight-step development model by Borg and Gall. Validation was conducted by subject matter, media, and game experts, while product trials involved a total of 24 kohai in small and large-scale testing. Results showed high feasibility and effectiveness, with an average validity score of 93.33%, motivation improvement of 96%, and kata technique mastery reaching 92%. The developed model enriches training variation and significantly improves karate learning quality. The resulting training guidebook can be widely used by coaches across dojos as an applicable and fun training tool, supporting the holistic development of athletes' character and skills.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between physical condition and skills in playing the PJKR futsal club at Tadulako University. This study uses a quantitative method that is correlational with tests and measurements of physical condition and skills in playing futsal. The population of this study were all PJKR Tadulako University club players, totaling 12 people/players. The sample in this study were 12 athletes using the total sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and measurements. The instruments used were (1 minute pull up test), (50 meter run), (Illionist agility run), (bleep test) and (sit and reach). The data in the study were analyzed by product moment correlation with the help of SPSS 26. The results showed a significant correlation between physical condition and skills in playing futsal was 91.3%, the remaining 6.7%. The positive correlation results from the analysis that the sig value is 0.004 <0.05. The conclusions of this study are proven by the results of the analysis so that there is a real (significant) relationship between the physical condition variable and the skills variable. From the table it can be seen that f count is 12.541 with a significant/probability level
