Abstract

This study is based on findings regarding the low learning outcomes of students, as observed from the initial test results and classroom observations. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes and participation of fourth-grade students at SD Islamic Leader School Tasikmalaya through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in the topic of multiplication and division. This study employs a classroom action research method consisting of two cycles, with 22 students from SD Islamic Leader School Tasikmalaya as participants during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques include observation and learning outcome tests. In the pre-cycle phase, student participation was only 29%, and the percentage of students meeting the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) was 31.82%. After implementing PBL, student participation increased to   60% in cycle I and reached 82% in cycle II, while the percentage of students meeting the KKTP rose to 54.55% in cycle I and 86.36% in cycle II. The implementation of the PBL model has proven effective in improving students' learning outcomes and participation in the topic of multiplication and division.

Abstract

The objectives of community development activity are: 1) give alternative of processing technology of arrowroot for group of farmer KSM Mekar Sari di Desa Gegunung, Kel. Sendangsari, Kec. Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, so that can yield arrowroot starch that fulfills standard quality with appropriate packaging and labeling; 2) know extraction technology  efficiency  of  arrowroot  starch  with  mechanically  hydraulic press;  3)  give  alternative  of  food  product  to  consumer  in the  form of arrowroot starch-based cookies that high nutrition and fulfills standard quality; and 4) give an opportunity for home industry with exploiting of arrowroot so can be empowered and increases public prosperity, especially farmer arrowroot. The community development  activity was  done  from July up  to November 2009 and divided to become some phases, that is preparation, implementation and evaluation. At preparation phase was done by designing of extraction arrowroot starch machine, making of hydraulic press machine for arrowroot starch extraction, making of arrowroot starch-based cookies, design of packaging and labeling, making of training matter and evaluation sheet. Implementation phase was done with discourse method, discussion, demonstration, practice of processing technology of arrowroot starch with hydraulic press machine, and practice of making of arrowroot starch-based cookies for general and diabetic consumer. Discourse matter contains about arrowroot characteristics and damage cause, processing technology of arrowroot, packaging and labeling, sanitary and hygiene, food safety, and economic analysis in the form of determination of production cost, selling price and BEP. Evaluation phase covered evaluation of input, process, product, and satisfaction of activity participant. Based on result and discussion can concluded that: 1) Community development activity  have been done on 1 and 15 November 2009 followed by 21 members of group of farmer KSM Mekar Sari; 2) Extraction technology of arrowroot  starch with  hydraulic  press  machine  can  yield arrowroot starch closing standard quality of arrowroot starch according to SNI with appropriate packaging and labeling; 3) Extraction technology of arrowroot starch with hydraulic press machine more efficiently is compared to separation technique applied before all; 4) Alternative of food product in the form of arrowroot starch-bases cookies to general and diabetic consumer that   high   nutrition  and   fulfills   standard  quality;   and  5)   Processing technology and diversification of arrowroot starch product  can open an opportunity for home industry that can be powered and increases resilience of food on local food material-based

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif matematika berbasis web Google Sites untuk mengeksplor kemampuan abstraksi reflektif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 1 orang dosen matematika, 2 orang ahli materi, 2 orang ahli media, dan 14 orang mahasiswa semester 6 Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) di salah satu perguruan tinggi di Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model Luther-Sutopo melalui 6 tahapan dalam model pengembangan Luther-Sutopo yaitu: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yaitu observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket dan tes kemampuan abstraksi reflektif. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan soal tes kemampuan abstraksi reflektif. Hasil penelitian menurut ahli materi dan ahli media dikategorikan “layak”, ujicoba produk  kepada 10 orang mahasiswa dengan hasil kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil penelitian terhadap 14 orang mahasiswa semester 6 diperoleh nilai rata-rata kemampuan abstraksi reflektif pada post-test sebesar 62,14 dengan kategori cukup. Hasil pengujian Effect Size (ES) diperoleh nilai 2,06 dengan kategori “Strong Effect”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif matematika berbasis web Google Sites layak digunakan untuk mengeksplor kemampuan abstraksi reflektif mahasiswa pada materi bangun ruang kubus.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a digital book about sequences and series using the Heyzine platform so that students of vocational high school (SMK) in tenth grade can improve their computational thinking abilities. This study employs a 4-dimensional model based on the Research and Development (R&D) approach: Specify, Create, Test, and Release. The study involves 10th-grade students in mathematics. Observation, interviews, expert validation sheets (media and content), user response surveys, and computational thinking skill assessments are some of the methods used to gather data. Compared to other platforms, Heyzine's interactive features, multimedia integration, and user-friendliness make it the best choice for this study because they encourage student engagement and computational thinking. Validation results show that the digibook is highly valid and suitable for classroom use. User responses were rated as “excellent.” The Effect Size (ES) test result was 1.23, indicating a strong impact of the intervention. Specifically, 69% of students were able to decompose problems into relevant data, and 69% successfully identified patterns to solve the tasks. Additionally, 54% identified key components while excluding irrelevant information, and 51% executed problem-solving steps sequentially and correctly. To sum up, the sequences and series digital textbook developed by Heyzine is a legitimate, interesting, and useful tool for enhancing students' computational thinking abilities in the context of vocational mathematics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lintasan belajar pada materi peluang kejadian majemuk di kelas XII. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Design Research yang dikemukakan oleh Gravemeijer & Cobb, dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan penelitian, pelaksanaan di kelas, dan analisis retrospektif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Banjarsari dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 29 siswa kelas XII MIPA 3, dan terdiri dari dua siklus pembelajaran. Materi yang dikaji meliputi: 1) siklus pertama: penyusunan ruang sampel melalui daftar dan tabel pada konteks permainan sederhana, dan 2) siklus kedua: penyusunan ruang sampel dengan diagram pohon serta menentukan peluang kejadian majemuk. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah hipotesis lintasan belajar, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes berpikir kreatif matematis, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lintasan belajar pada materi peluang kejadian majemuk yang dirancang dengan pendekatan Learning Obstacle (Observation-Based Student-Centered Learning) dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran dan mendukung pengembangan berpikir kreatif siswa. Lintasan belajar yang dihasilkan berupa alur kegiatan dan aktivitas siswa yang dirancang untuk membangun pemahaman secara bertahap dan bermakna, serta mendorong kelancaran, keluwesan, dan elaborasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Abstract

Pembelajaran teks deskriptif merupakan komponen penting dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris, yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa siswa. Dalam era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi seperti kecerdasan buatan (AI) dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran teks deskriptif bagi siswa SMA kelas 10 melalui pendekatan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kajian literatur, menganalisis berbagai sumber terkait penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan bahasa dan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran teks deskriptif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa dengan menyediakan umpan balik real-time, sehingga membantu siswa memperbaiki struktur dan ide tulisan mereka. Meskipun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya mencakup kesulitan menyesuaikan kurikulum dengan pendekatan PBL, keterbatasan waktu, serta kurangnya pemahaman teknologi baik dari guru maupun siswa. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan literasi teknologi bagi guru dan siswa, serta perencanaan kurikulum yang lebih fleksibel. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran teks deskriptif melalui PBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dan kemandirian siswa dalam mengembangkan ide secara efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di tingkat pendidikan menengah.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students’ mathematics learning outcomes on exponent material through the use of Wordwall media integrated with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach at SMA Negeri 3 Tasikmalaya. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles with a total of 36 student participants. Data collection techniques included observation and formative assessments, using observation sheets and test instruments to evaluate both the learning process and outcomes. The findings revealed significant improvements in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of Wordwall-based CRT learning. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 55, with only 22.22% meeting the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP). After the first cycle, the average score increased to 77, with 70% of students meeting the KKTP. By the second cycle, the average score rose to 87, with 90% of students achieving the learning criteria. These results suggest that integrating digital interactive media with culturally responsive pedagogy can effectively improve students’ conceptual understanding and overall learning performance. Furthermore, the CRT approach contributed to increased student engagement, motivation, and active participation, creating a more inclusive and contextual learning environment that supports the diverse needs of learners in mastering the concept of exponents.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMathematical reasoning is a fundamental skill that students must possess to deeply understand mathematical concepts andsolve problems logically. However, a preliminary study at SMKN 2 Ciamis revealed that most students struggle to solvereasoning problems, particularly in the topic of plane geometry. This issue is attributed to the lack of contextual and interactivelearning media. This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based e-module using the Heyzine platform as an interactivelearning tool contextualized with local cultural elements from Kampung Salapan. The research uses the Research andDevelopment (R&D) method with the 4D development model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Expert validationresults indicate that the developed e-module is of excellent quality. A trial conducted with grade XI students at SMKN 2 Ciamisshowed that 70% of students achieved scores above the minimum mastery criterion, with an average score of 82.5.Additionally, students responded enthusiastically to learning using the e-module. Uji coba terhadap siswa kelas XI SMKN 2 Ciamismenunjukan bahwa 70% siswa mencapai nilai di atas KKM, dengan rata-rata 82,5. Selain itu, siswa menunjukan antusiasmetinggi terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan e-modul. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang lintasan belajar  atau Hypothetical Learning Trajectory pada pembelajaran perbandingan trigonometri. Penelitian ini adalah desain didaktis (Didactical Design Research) menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dilakukan dengan memperhatikan hambatan belajar (learning obstcle). Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di MA Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas X IPS yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Data dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer terdiri dari hasil jawaban tes, hasil wawancara, dan hasil observasi dan data sekunder berdasarkan hasil penelitian orang lain yang diterbitkan melalui jurnal maupun buku yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah hasil tes tertulis (tes diagnostik), wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hambatan belajar pada materi perbandingan trigonometri yaitu siswa belum memahami materi prasyarat dari perbandingan trigonometri, siswa belum memahami konsep dari perbandingan trigonometri, siswa keliru menggunakan rumus perbandingan trigonometri dan kemampuan pemecahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal kontekstual masih tergolong rendah. Melaui hasil yang didapatkan dibuatlah pada penelitian ini Hypothetical Learning Trajectory pada pembelajaran perbandingan trigonometri yang dibuat berdasarkan identifikasi Learning Obstacle.

Abstract

Ketupat Kandangan, a traditional Indonesian dish from South Kalimantan, embodies the harmonious integration of Islamic values, cultural heritage, and economic sustainability in Banjar society. This study explores the significance of Ketupat Kandangan as a symbol of Islamic principles such as togetherness (ukhuwwah Islamiyyah), simplicity (zuhud), and gratitude (syukur), which are reflected in its preparation and consumption during religious and social gatherings. Through qualitative research methods, including observations, interviews, and documentation, this study analyzes the role of Ketupat Kandangan in preserving cultural identity, strengthening social cohesion, and supporting the local economy. The findings reveal that the communal aspect of preparing and sharing the dish reinforces Islamic values and cultural transmission, while the use of local ingredients supports farmers, fishermen, and culinary entrepreneurs. However, challenges such as limited shelf life and declining interest among younger generations necessitate modern innovations in packaging, marketing, and educational initiatives. The study emphasizes the importance of collaborative efforts among stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of Ketupat Kandangan as a cultural icon and economic driver. By embracing modernization while staying true to its Islamic and cultural roots, Ketupat Kandangan serves as an example of how traditional cuisine can be leveraged to strengthen both cultural identity and economic development in the face of globalization.
