Abstract

One type of mole crab in Indonesia is Emerita sp., which has a fatty acid content of 3.57% and crude protein content of 32.42% (100 mg). The use of mole crabs is currently limited to food sources; therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to optimize the use of mole crabs, which are a source of protein hydrolysate. The samples were used under fresh conditions and stored at −20°C before processing. This study aimed to produce protein hydrolysates from moles of crabs. This hydrolysate is produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of marine back-down raw materials using alcalase. In silico analyses have identified the potential of marine-receding protein hydrolysates. The results of in silico analysis using BIOPEP and Peptide Ranker revealed that these peptides exhibited multiple bioactivities, including ACE inhibition, DPP-IV inhibition, and antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects. The dipeptide PW (Pro-Trp) achieved the highest Peptide Ranker score of 0.993, with a predicted dual function as an antioxidant and DPP-IV inhibitor. Molecular docking confirmed strong binding affinities to target receptors, with the AF peptide displaying the best interaction against ACE (−129.70 kcal/mol) and GH peptide against DPP-IV (−113.68 kcal/mol). These results suggest that mole crab hydrolysate contains promising peptides with potential applications as nutraceuticals, particularly in the management of hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The highest potency based on the in-silico peptide hydrolysate has a strong antihypertensive effect. Further in vivo research is needed to explain the potential of sea retreat peptides as bioactive antihypertensive agents in peptide form.

Abstract

Culture that grows and develops in one ethnic groups can be called local cultures. Cultural education locally, one of them can be implemented in activities extracurricular dance at school. But in reality Judging from the development of today's technological era draws students' attention from regional culture alone. Students are more likely to be enthusiastic practicing modern dance rather than traditional dance. Therefore, the concept in extracurricular dance learning requires other methods and approaches, so that students can have an interest and good response to the learning in question. This research aims to determine the implementation and strategies for strengthening local culture through dance at SMP PGRI 2 Singosari. This research uses qualitative with an interactive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of strengthening local culture through extracurricular dance at SMP PGRI 2 Singosari is strengthened by the policy of implementing extracurricular activities which are included in the school curriculum. Meanwhile, the strategy of strengthening local culture through extracurricular activities is realized by providing material related to dance, training in learning dance, showing videos such as dance, regional arts in PPKn learning, holding bull art performances and exhibitions filled with dance. In this way, strengthening local culture through dance has an impact on strengthening character

Abstract

With the increasing use of concrete in the construction sector, the demand for its constituent materials, particularly cement, has also continued to rise. This study utilizes Lapindo mud as a partial substitute for cement, based on the fact that Lapindo mud contains chemical compounds similar to the main components found in cement. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of using Lapindo mud as a partial cement replacement in concrete. The study was conducted using an experimental method and referred to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 03-2834-2000 for concrete mix design. A total of 12 cylindrical specimens were prepared with a target compressive strength of 250 kg/cm² (K-250). The planned Lapindo mud replacement levels were 0% (normal concrete), 2%, 4%, and 6% of the cement content. Compressive strength tests were performed at 28 days of curing using a Compressed Test Machine. The average compressive strengths obtained for concrete mixes with 0%, 2%, 4%, and 6% Lapindo mud were 20.95 MPa, 19.06 MPa, 18.26 MPa, and 17.02 MPa, respectively. Based on the results, it can be concluded that an increase in the percentage of Lapindo mud in the mix leads to a decrease in the compressive strength of concrete.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to identify effective evaluation management strategies to reduce school dropout rates and enhance educational participation in East Nusa Tenggara Province (ENTP), Eastern Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology with a case study approach, the research analyzes educational disparities between urban and rural areas and the effectiveness of current management policies and practices. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings were analyzed employing a modified descriptive-analytic approach. The results reveal that the primary factors contributing to school dropouts in ENTP include poverty, limited geographical accessibility, and low awareness of the value of education. While incentive-based policies and community-driven education management have yielded positive results, this study advocates for integrating contemporary educational management principles—such as Outcome-Based Education (OBE), technological innovation, and enhanced community participation. The policy recommendations emphasize the improvement of educational infrastructure, strengthening incentive mechanisms, and implementing contextually grounded strategies to advance inclusive and sustainable education in support of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
