Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning style and interest of prospective biology teacher students who will take microteaching lectures. The research method used descriptive quantitative. Samples were obtained through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed descriptively (collection, reduction, and conclusion). The results showed that the most dominant learning style was visual learning style. Meanwhile, the most dominant learning interest among prospective biology teacher students at Jambi University is related to music. Therefore, the recommendation from this study is to organize microteaching with visual and music-based media.

Abstract

Pre-service Biology teachers must be equipped with good biology skills, 21st-century teaching skills currently needed, and possess four competencies (pedagogic, professional, personality, and social). The study aims to develop a biology microteaching book to create competent, confident, and creative biology teachers with a practical approach. The development method used is ADDIE. The research instrument uses a questionnaire to measure responses from media experts, content experts, lecturers, and students (the product users). The study reports that the product of a practical approach-based microteaching book is feasible and can be used in Biology learning. This book can be used as a guide and reference for prospective biology teacher students in determining the right microteaching model.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the scientific writing skills of teachers at SMP N 1 Muaro Jambi. Basically, Mendeley is used as a reference management tool, especially in creating scientific papers. However, many teachers face obstacles in managing reference sources systematically and efficiently. This training is designed to provide an understanding of the main functions and features of Mendeley. The training was conducted offline using presentation, discussion and practice methods. The training participants consisted of 25 teachers at SMP N 1 Muaro Jambi. Based on the test results, after participating in the training, on average, teachers showed an increase in their ability to manage references from the original 45% to 85%. Of course, these results provide a positive indication for producing scientific works with sufficient and valid references.   Keywords: Mendeley, writing skills, scientific papers, teachers

Abstract

For investors, company value is very important, because good company value will attract investors to invest which makes the company's share price increase. In this study, company value is proxied by Price Book Value (PBV) while the independent variables use investment decisions, funding decisions, and company size. The research population used the tourism and recreation sub-sector as many as 41 companies for the 2016-2020 period while the sample was 15 with the porpusive sampling method. The result is that the Price Earning Ratio (PER) has a positive and insignificant effect on the value of companies in the tourism and recreation sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive and insignificant effect on the value of companies in the tourism and recreation sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. Company Size has a negative and insignificant effect on the value of tourism and recreation sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh cash flow, leverage, dan net working capital terhadap cash holding pada perusahaan sub sektor barang industri yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2021. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada, didapatkan 21 perusahaan sub sektor barang industri yang terdaftar di bursa efek indonesia periode 2017-2012 yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan yang dipublikasikan di situs Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linear berganda dalam pengujian variabelnya. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa cash flow berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap cash holding, sedangkan leverage dan net working capital tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holding.

Abstract

This study examines the procedures for collecting Certain Goods and Services Tax (PBJT) on Hotel Services in Banjarbaru City and identifies the obstacles faced by the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BPPRD). A descriptive qualitative method was used, collecting data through field observations, structured interviews with BPPRD officials and taxpayers, and documentation. The results indicate that although the procedures for data collection, registration, updating, payment, reporting, auditing, and collection are in accordance with regulations, their effectiveness is hampered by outdated data, fluctuations in taxpayer compliance, and limited human resources and technology. Recommendations include strengthening the integrated information system, human resource training, and a taxpayer compliance incentive program.

Abstract

The exogenous variables in this study are competence and organizational culture, and the endogenous variable is the employee’s performance at the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in Kalimantan region. We sampled 99 staff in all work units of the Ministry of Religion in Kalimantan. The data for this study were collected through a questionnaire followed by interviews. The researchers chose mixed methods as their research approach. The data was then analyzed using SEM PLS, which consisted of descriptive statistical tests, inferential statistics, outer and inner models, path plots, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that competence had no significant effect on performance but had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, organizational culture significantly affects team member performance, while organizational engagement does not. Organizational involvement has a large positive effect on team member performance. In other words, organizational commitment can convey team member competence and performance, but organizational commitment fails to convey thisAbstrakVariabel eksogen dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi dan budaya organisasi, dan variabel endogen adalah prestasi pejabat Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia di wilayah Kalimantan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel terhadap 99 pegawai di seluruh unit kerja Kementerian Agama di Kalimantan. Data untuk penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dilanjutkan dengan wawancara. Para peneliti memilih metode campuran sebagai pendekatan penelitian ini. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SEM PLS yang terdiri dari uji statistik deskriptif, statistik inferensial, outer dan inner model, path plot, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja, tetapi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Selanjutnya budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan keterikatan organisasi tidak berpengaruh. Keterlibatan organisasi berpengaruh positif besar terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan kata lain, komitmen organisasi dapat menyampaikan kompetensi dan kinerja karyawan, tetapi komitmen organisasi gagal untuk menyampaikan hal ini

Abstract

Kawasan hutan konservasi diatur dalam UU No. 5 Tahun 1990 tentang KSDAE. Berlakunya Perdirjen KSDAE No. P.6/KSDAE/SET/Kum.1/6/2018 tentang petunjuk teknis kemitraan konservasi memunculkan kesenjangan normatif dalam hukum positif dengan memberikan legitimasi kepada masyarakat sekitar kawasan hutan untuk melakukan kegiatan diluar amanat UU. No. 5 Tahun 1990 tentang KSDAE. Permasalahan penelitian ini menekankan pada: Bagaimana pengaturan hukum tindak pidana kehutanan dalam kawasan konservasi? Bagaimana penegakan hukum tindak pidana kehutanan dalam kawasan hutan konservasi pasca berlakunya perdirjen ksdae? Bagaimana hambatan dan solusi dalam penegakan hukum tindak pidana kehutanan dalam kawasan konservasi pasca berlakunya perdirjen KSDAE? Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian hukum normatif yang bersifat kualitatif. Rekomendasi perlu penguatan konsep konservasi dalam Perdirjen KSDAE sehingga tidak mengaburkan perbuatan pidana kehutanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penegakan hukum tindak pidana kehutanan di kawasan konservasi pasca berlakunya Perdirjen KSDAE. Disimpulkan bahwa berlakunya perdirjen ksdae tentang petunjuk teknis kemitraan konservasi di kawasan hutan konservasi telah melakukan sifat melawan hukum formil.

Abstract

Kemandirian belajar siswa yang kurang dapat menyebabkan hasil belajar kognitif yang diperoleh juga kurang optimal. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena model pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah masih berupa model pembelajaran langsung (direct learning). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap kemandirian dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Desain penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling dan dilakukan uji prasyarat dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIPA 2 dan X MIPA 4 dengan jumlah masing-masing siswa adalah 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes hasil belajar, dan observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian diperoleh model pembelajaran flipped classroom berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemandirian dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa

Abstract

Banana flour is generally made from unripe bananas. However, capacity Production is often not comparable to the amount of banana production overflow, resulting in delays in the processing process. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of different types of bananas and shelf life on the characteristics of bananas as raw materials making raw banana flour and characteristics of raw banana flour as well find out the shelf life of several types of bananas after a fruitful harvest the best characteristics of banana flour. The environmental design used in this research was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) while the treatment design was a Split-Plot Design where the main plot was a type of banana (A) which consisted of 3 levels while the sub plot was the storage time (B). which consists of 6 levels. The test is continued with the DMRT Test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) and if there is no real effect, but the single treatment has a real and/or very real effect, it is continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT). The results of the research show that the shelf life of bananas to be used as banana flour is up to 3 days of storage. The shape of banana granules from 3 types of bananas, namely kapok, cotton and awa bananas and with banana storage times of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 days shows no different shapes and sizes. The lowest banana water content is in cotton banana flour
