Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into counseling practices presents both opportunities and ethical dilemmas. This study explores the relationship between digital literacy and ethical decision-making among counselors who utilize AI-based assessment tools. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were gathered through structured questionnaires, while qualitative insights were obtained via semi-structured interviews with licensed counselors in diverse educational and clinical settings. The findings indicate that counselors with higher levels of digital literacy demonstrate greater competence in navigating ethical complexities related to data privacy, informed consent, algorithmic bias, and client autonomy. Furthermore, digital literacy mediates counselors’ ability to critically evaluate the limitations of AI-generated outputs and apply professional judgment responsibly. This study underscores the need for continuous digital ethics training within counselor education programs and proposes a framework for integrating ethical AI usage into counseling standards. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of how digital competencies shape ethical practices in technology-enhanced counseling environments.

Abstract

ABSTRAK UMKM yang ingin berkembang mempunyai peluang untuk memperoleh akses modal melalui perbankan. Namun UMKM masih belum memanfaatkan peluang tersebut karena pengelolaan keuangannya belum baik. Jarang UMKM  mempunyai pembukuan yang baik dikarenakan tidak mempunyai pengetahuan akuntansi dan laporan keuangan sesuai standar. Aplikasi SIAPIK merupakan aplikasi akuntansi sederhana yang didesain oleh Bank Indonesia bagi pelaku UMKM agar dapat membuat laporan keuangan sederhana. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah agar peserta memperoleh pengetahuan mengenai strategi akses modal melalui perbankan, bertambah wawasannya mengenai Laporan Keuangan sesuai SAK EMKM, dan memperoleh keterampilan membuat laporan keuangan menggunakan SIAPIK. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diselenggarakan di Aula Kanwil DJPb Provinsi DKI Jakarta selaku pembina UMKM. Pelatihan perpajakan ini diikuti oleh 13 pelaku UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjalan lancar dan telah mencapai tujuannya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan dengan adanya pelatihan dan pendampingan aplikasi SIAPIK kepada pelaku UMKM dapat meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM untuk membuat laporan keuangan  yang berguna untuk akses modal ke perbankan. Kata kunci: Akses modal, laporan keuangan, SIAPIK, UMKM.   ABSTRACT UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) who want to grow have the opportunity to gain access to capital through banking. However, UMKMs have not yet taken advantage of this opportunity because their financial management is not yet adequate. Rarely do UMKMs have good bookkeeping because they lack knowledge of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with standards. The SIAPIK (Financial Information Recording Application System) application is a simple accounting application designed by Bank Indonesia for UMKM players to be able to create simple financial reports. The objectives of this community service program are for participants to gain knowledge about strategies for accessing capital through banks, increase their understanding of financial statements in accordance with SAK UMKM (Financial Accounting Standards for Small and Medium Enterprises), and acquire the skills to prepare financial statements using SIAPIK. Through lectures and hands-on practice, participants were given an understanding of strategies for accessing capital through banks and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards, as well as hands-on practice using the SIAPIK application to prepare simple financial statements in accordance with SAK UMKM. The training was attended by 13 UMKMactors. The results of the community service show that the training and guidance on the SIAPIK application for UMKM actors can improve their understanding of preparing financial statements that are useful for accessing capital from banks. Abstract

Guidelines for medication use during pregnancy must ensure that the therapeutic benefits significantly outweigh any short-term or long-term risks to both the mother and the fetus. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding of 25 pregnant women in the Pematang Raya area, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, regarding the principles of safe medication use during pregnancy. The program applied an educational approach using informational media in the form of posters, combined with material presentation and interactive discussions. The activity began with a pre-test to assess participants’ baseline knowledge about medication use in pregnancy. Following the educational session, a post-test was conducted to evaluate the improvement in understanding. The results indicated a significant increase in knowledge, with 88% of respondents demonstrating a good understanding of safe medication principles during pregnancy. However, further evaluation is necessary for participants who did not fully comprehend the educational material to ensure overall program effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through a Full Day School partnership program between public schools and madrasahs in Pasuruan. The background of this research lies in the need for synergy between general and religious educational institutions in shaping students' character holistically. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the partnership successfully integrates the national curriculum with religious values and local wisdom in full day learning activities. The character education developed includes values such as religiosity, responsibility, discipline, tolerance, and cooperation. Furthermore, support from parents and the community strengthens the implementation of the program. The conclusion of this study is that the partnership between public schools and madrasahs through the Full Day School model in Pasuruan serves as an effective strategy for enhancing students’ character development.

Abstract

Water is a fundamental necessity for life, as all living organisms depend on it for survival. Industrial wastewater such as that generated from leather, paper, textile, and batik industries may contain chromium and iron used as dyes, which can pose serious health risks if they enter the human body. The experiment was aimed to find out whether there were chromium and iron in well water at Batik Village Kauman Surakarta, and to know whether the contents of chromium and iron do not exceed the maximum limit. The experiment was done by Atomic Adsorption Spectrophotometry, because this method could analyze the elements precisely and accurately. The sample was acidified with HNO3 concentrated before analyzed & then put into beaker glass & evaporated, & removed into volumetric flask & added with bi-distill ed water up to the mark. The result of the experiment showed that all samples of well water did not contain chromium, but they contained iron. The iron content in sample A =(0.1821±0.0303) ppm; sample B = (0.1251 ± 0.0108) ppm, sample C = (0.6364 ±0.2394) ppm. The contents of iron in the three well water samples fulfill the requirements of Indonesian National Standard No. 01-0220-1987.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has given rise to the deepfake phenomenon, an audio-visual manipulation that mimics a person's face and voice with a high degree of similarity. The misuse of deepfakes in the creation of pornographic content raises serious issues related to privacy violations, the destruction of dignity, and the lack of legal norms. National regulations such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Pornography Law do not specifically address AI-based digital crimes, so an Islamic legal perspective is needed to provide a more comprehensive normative approach. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of deepfake pornography through the framework of Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh jinayah) by emphasizing the principle of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, particularly the protection of honor (ḥifẓ al-‘ird). The research method used is qualitative with a normative-juridical approach through a literature study of Islamic legal sources and contemporary legal studies. The results of this study indicate that Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh jinayah) has high flexibility in responding to new crimes unknown in classical literature through the concept of ta'zīr and the principle of benefit (maṣlaḥah mursalah). The maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah approach strengthens the ethical basis to emphasize that the distribution of deepfake pornography content is a violation of human dignity and must be sanctioned based on the principles of substantive Islamic justice. Thus, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh jinayah) and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah can be an alternative paradigm in formulating contemporary Islamic legal policies to protect human dignity in the digital era.

Abstract

One form of action that gets criminal abolition is an action taken by someone in order to defend themselves from an emergency threat, but the act of self-defense sometimes exceeds the proper limit. This study aims to find out how the comparison between Islamic criminal law and positive law towards actions that exceed the limits (noodweer exces) in self-defense. This research is a qualitative research study using library research. According to the results of this study, it was found that the defense carried out beyond the limit (Noodweer exces), in positive law as stipulated in KUHP 49 paragraph 2, when self-defense that exceeds the limit carried out under conditions of "shaking of the soul", then this can be used as a justification or forgiveness that can eliminate the crime. In contrast to Islamic criminal law, a person must be held responsible for acts of defense that go beyond limits under any circumstances.Keywords: Self-Defense; Noodweer Exces; Positive Law.

Abstract

The family is the smallest entity that plays a crucial role in the social structure of society. This article aims to examine the sustainability of the family in cases of child sexual violence in relation to the thinking of judges in gender-based crimes in religious courts in South Sulawesi. This study is an empirical legal study using the theory of power inequality and gender relations, feminist criminology theory, and law enforcement theory. Data were collected based on interviews and literature studies. The research findings reveal that judges prioritize the protection of children who are victims of sexual crimes, emphasizing the importance of ensuring a fair legal process that considers the physical and psychological well-being of girls who are victims of sexual violence. Sexual violence is a gender-based crime that primarily affects girls, influenced by derogatory perceptions of women and by abuse of power by perpetrators, including parents. The family institution plays a crucial role in protecting the rights of children, especially girls, from sexual crimes. This responsibility includes strict prosecution of perpetrators of sexual crimes, providing support and rehabilitation services for victims, and education on the recognition and prevention of sexual crimes. Theoretically and practically, judges have carried out legal prevention in cases of sexual crimes against girls by considering various factors, namely legal, moral, and social aspects. Judges give top priority to protecting child victims and taking preventive measures.
