Abstract

This study aims to explain the contextualization of rights and justice through exceptions in the counterclaim of marital property lawsuits in the Religious Court of Pinrang. The research method used is normative-legal qualitative research, with a document study to analyze Decision Number 703/Pdt.G/2021/PA Prg. Data analysis is conducted using legal enforcement theory and rights and justice theory. The research results indicate that maximizing exceptions in marital property lawsuits in the Religious Court of Pinrang ensures the protection of rights and justice for all parties involved in society. The context of responses, replies, and rejoinders during the examination of marital property cases is essential to respond to the claims and clarify disputes in society to safeguard the rights and justice of both the plaintiff and defendant. Exceptions in legal enforcement during the examination of cases allow the plaintiff and defendant to assess the validity of claims in the conventional lawsuit, while exceptions in the counterclaim provide an opportunity for the defendant to protect their rights and justice during the proceedings of marital property cases.

Abstract

This study discusses al-D{aru>riya>t al-Khams in the Crime of Theft (Verdict Analysis in Pinrang District Court). It is the aim of this study to reveal the relationship between al-daru riyat al-khams and the verdict of criminal sanction of theft in Pinrang District Court. The implication of this study is that the Pinrang District Court verdict has considered aspects of al-daru riyat al-khams regarding assets’ safeguarding in terms of the theft case. The judge decided the case by prioritizing proven divine values by mentioning for the sake of justice based on that one godhead (Believe in the one and only God). Imposing sanctions by the judge is by taking into account the burdensome and mitigating elements for the benefit of the defendant.

Abstract

Pentingnya mengetahui peran KPU Kota Parepare dalam pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas pada pemilu 2019 di Kota Parepare, juga untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas pada pemilu 2019 di Kota Parepare serta bagaimana analisis siyasah syariah terhadap pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Peran KPU Kota Parepare dalam pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas pada pemilu 2019 di Kota Parepare berupa pemutahiran data pilih untuk memastikan bahwa mereka berhak memilih telah terdaftar dalam Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT), sosialisasi pemilu secara langsung kepada penyandang disaabilitas dan penyediaan aksesibilitas yang dapat mempermudah penyandang disabilitas dalam menggunakan hak pilihnya secara mandiri. Faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas pada pemilu 2019 di Kota Parepare adalah sikap apatis penyandang disabilitas terhadap pentingnya penggunaan hak pilih dalam pemilu, sosialisasi pemilu yang bersifat parsial atau tidak menyeluruh dan keterbatasan aksesibilitas berupa sarana dan prasarana yang dapat mempermudah penyandang disabilitas dalam menggunakan hak pilihnya secara mandiri. Adapun Penerapan prinsip-prinsip siyasah syariah dalam pemenuhan hak pilih bagi penyandang disabilitas pada pemilu 2019 di Kota Parepare belum berjalan secara optimal karena permasalahan yang dihadapi bersifat kompleks.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of using the flipped classroom strategy to students’ grammar mastery. To apply the strategy the researcher selected some videos from YouTube which was being studied by the students. These videos were chosen based on the students’ text book. Then, she uploaded those videos on group WhatsApp of experimental group before class. The videos were watched by the experimental group at home before class in order to give them basic knowledge of the material used by the students in the class. The class meeting is used to check the students understanding of the materials by quiz. The students also were asked to complete tasks in groups. Meanwhile, the students from the control group were taught by grammar translation method. It was obvious from the post-test analysis that applying the flipped classroom strategy was able to enhance the students’ grammar performances, as the t score is higher than t table, which means that there was significant different between control and experimental group which were taught by using flipped classroom.

Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into counseling practices presents both opportunities and ethical dilemmas. This study explores the relationship between digital literacy and ethical decision-making among counselors who utilize AI-based assessment tools. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were gathered through structured questionnaires, while qualitative insights were obtained via semi-structured interviews with licensed counselors in diverse educational and clinical settings. The findings indicate that counselors with higher levels of digital literacy demonstrate greater competence in navigating ethical complexities related to data privacy, informed consent, algorithmic bias, and client autonomy. Furthermore, digital literacy mediates counselors’ ability to critically evaluate the limitations of AI-generated outputs and apply professional judgment responsibly. This study underscores the need for continuous digital ethics training within counselor education programs and proposes a framework for integrating ethical AI usage into counseling standards. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of how digital competencies shape ethical practices in technology-enhanced counseling environments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through a Full Day School partnership program between public schools and madrasahs in Pasuruan. The background of this research lies in the need for synergy between general and religious educational institutions in shaping students' character holistically. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the partnership successfully integrates the national curriculum with religious values and local wisdom in full day learning activities. The character education developed includes values such as religiosity, responsibility, discipline, tolerance, and cooperation. Furthermore, support from parents and the community strengthens the implementation of the program. The conclusion of this study is that the partnership between public schools and madrasahs through the Full Day School model in Pasuruan serves as an effective strategy for enhancing students’ character development.

Abstract

Water is a fundamental necessity for life, as all living organisms depend on it for survival. Industrial wastewater such as that generated from leather, paper, textile, and batik industries may contain chromium and iron used as dyes, which can pose serious health risks if they enter the human body. The experiment was aimed to find out whether there were chromium and iron in well water at Batik Village Kauman Surakarta, and to know whether the contents of chromium and iron do not exceed the maximum limit. The experiment was done by Atomic Adsorption Spectrophotometry, because this method could analyze the elements precisely and accurately. The sample was acidified with HNO3 concentrated before analyzed & then put into beaker glass & evaporated, & removed into volumetric flask & added with bi-distill ed water up to the mark. The result of the experiment showed that all samples of well water did not contain chromium, but they contained iron. The iron content in sample A =(0.1821±0.0303) ppm; sample B = (0.1251 ± 0.0108) ppm, sample C = (0.6364 ±0.2394) ppm. The contents of iron in the three well water samples fulfill the requirements of Indonesian National Standard No. 01-0220-1987.

Abstract

One form of action that gets criminal abolition is an action taken by someone in order to defend themselves from an emergency threat, but the act of self-defense sometimes exceeds the proper limit. This study aims to find out how the comparison between Islamic criminal law and positive law towards actions that exceed the limits (noodweer exces) in self-defense. This research is a qualitative research study using library research. According to the results of this study, it was found that the defense carried out beyond the limit (Noodweer exces), in positive law as stipulated in KUHP 49 paragraph 2, when self-defense that exceeds the limit carried out under conditions of "shaking of the soul", then this can be used as a justification or forgiveness that can eliminate the crime. In contrast to Islamic criminal law, a person must be held responsible for acts of defense that go beyond limits under any circumstances.Keywords: Self-Defense; Noodweer Exces; Positive Law.

Abstract

Tanaman Kunyit adalah produk unggulan desa Kesamben Wetan yang terletak di Kecamatan Driyorejo, Kabupaten Gresik. Kunyit basah hasil panen diolah menjadi kunyit kering oleh Kelompok Tani (Poktan) Pasinan yang berjumlah 14 petani dan dijual ke UMKM. Timbul permasalahan dalam melakukan proses olahan menjadi kunyit kering, kunyit setelah dicuci dirajang menggunakan mesin yang sudah berkarat sehingga kunyit tidak higienis dan pengeringan menggunakan sinar matahari selama 2 atau 3 minggu ditempat terbuka, sehingga banyak debu dan benda-benda lain yang menempel. Proses pengeringan dengan sinar matahari akan mempengaruhi kandungan kurcumin pada kunyit, dan warna kunyit menjadi kuning kecoklatan. Tim pengabdian membantu memberikan solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan teknologi tepat guna mesin perajang dan mesin pengering kunyit sehingga kunyit bersih, higienis dan kandungan kurkumin dan kadar air sesuai dengan standart yang diharapkan. Kegiatan diawali dengan persiapan, rancang bangun dan pembuatan mesin perajang dan pengering, kemudian diberikan pelatihan dan perawatan mesin pada kelompok tani. Kapasitas mesin perajang 1-1,5 ton/jam menghasilkan kunyit yang terajang utuh dan mesing pengering berkapasitas 30 kg/jam dan kunyit mempunyai kadar air 10%.
