Abstract

Purpose: Lousy work by employees often leads to undesirable situations in bureaucracy. This study aims to assess the performance of civil servants employed by the Serdang Bedagai district administration regarding competency, work-life balance, motivation at work, and e-performance evaluation. Research methodology: The data gathering process involves the application of quantitative approaches. Results: The research findings show that the implementation of e-performance evaluation has a positive and significant impact on the performance of civil servants in the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, with a significance level of 0.002 < 0.05. Additionally, competency had a positive and significant effect on the performance of civil servant employees in the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Work-life balance positively and significantly affects civil servant performance in the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, with a significance threshold of 0.020 < 0.05. Similarly, work motivation positively and significantly affects government officials' performance in the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, at a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The concurrent implementation of e-performance evaluation, competency, work-life balance, and work motivation has been found to significantly impact the performance of civil servant personnel in the Serdang Bedagai Regency Government, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Limitations: The research problem only focuses on four variables; therefore, expanding the research to other variables is necessary.   Contribution:  This research will provide evidence that several sectors must be considered in government bureaucracy. Novelty: All research variables influence civil servants in Serdang Bedagai.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar e-komik berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia yang tervalidasi oleh para ahli. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D. Bahan ajar e-komik diuji kelayakan oleh dua validator ahli materi, dua validator media dan dua ahli praktis (Guru). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam  penelitian adalah lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan peserta didik, angket validasi dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli praktis termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil respon peserta didik pada aspek materi, tampulan dan bahasa termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan dan uji respon dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar e-komik telah layak secara konseptual dan bahan ajar e-komik mendapatkan respon  positif oleh sebagian besar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP.   Kata Kunci: CTL, e-komik, pencernaan   ABSTRACT   This study aims to produce Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based e-comic teaching materials on human digestive system material validated by experts. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model. The e-comic teaching materials are tested for feasibility by three material expert validators, two media validators and two practical experts. The instruments used in the study were interview sheets, questionnaires on the needs of students and questionnaires of student responses. Validation results by material experts, media experts and practical experts fall into the category of very valid. The results of students' responses to aspects of material, tampulan and language are included in the excellent category. Based on the results of the feasibility and response test, it can be concluded that the e-comic teaching materials are conceptually feasible and the e-comic teaching materials have received a positive response by most of the students of class VIII junior high school.   Keywords : CTL, disgetion, e-comic

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VII  SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu dalam materi pemanasan global. Penelitian yang diterapakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik sampel random sampling yang sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh siswa kelas VII E. Jumlah siswa yang terlibat sebanyak 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design tipe One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes untuk hasil belajar IPA. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar siswa dilakukan dengan memberikan lembar soal berupa pretest (tes awal) dan postest (tes akhir) di setiap pertemuan. Hasil analisis data, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model problem based learning berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar, yaitu hasil uji-t pada thitung sebesar 1.756 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1.703. Sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil ini juga memperkuat bahwa homogen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh nyata (signifikan) variabel x (Pembeljaran IPA model Problem Based Learning) terhadap variabel Y (hasil belajar) dengan taraf signifikan 5%.  Kata  kunci : Problem Based Learning, Pemanasan Global, Hasil Belajar.   ABSTRACT   The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model on the science learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMPN 11 Bengkulu City in the matter of global warming. The research applied is quantitative research. The research sample was taken using a random sampling technique that had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity, obtained by class VII E students. The number of students involved were 29 students consisting of 16 male students and 13 female students. The type of this research is Pre-Experimental Design type One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Data collection techniques using tests for science learning outcomes. Data collection on student learning outcomes is done by giving question sheets in the form of pretest (initial test) and posttest (final test) in each meeting. The results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the problem based learning model has a positive effect on learning outcomes, namely the t-test results at tcount of 1,756 are greater than ttable of 1,703. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This result also strengthens that it is homogeneous, so it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) effect of variable x (Problem Based Learning model of Science) on variable Y (learning outcomes) with a significant level of 5%.   Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Global Warming, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pembelajaran IPA merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dengan pendekatan etnosains. Pembelajaran yang memadukan etnosains dan sains ilmiah mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep-konsep sains ilmiah dan pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan merekonstruksi bahan ajar IPA tentang pengetahuan lokal masyarakat tanaman jarak pagar berbasis MER (Model of Educational Reconstruction) dengan terintegrasi materi partikel penyusun benda dan makhluk hidup yang layak. Prosedur pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan model RnD (Research and Development) dengan 3 tahapan, yaitu Define, Design, dan Develop. Berdasarkan hasil analisis konsepsi peserta didik pada tahap define, sebanyak 62,68% peserta didik tidak paham konsep terhadap materi tersebut, sehingga perlu dimunculkan konteks etnosains dalam bahan ajar agar peserta didik lebih memahami konsep.  Berdasakan hasil validasi para ahli dengan mendapatkan skor 0,895 dan 0,87 dengan kriteria layak dan dapat diuji keefektifannya.   Kata  kunci: MER, Bahan Ajar, Etnosains, Jarak Pagar (Jatropha curcas L)   ABSTRACT   Science learning is one of the lessons that can be used with an ethnoscience approach. Learning that combines ethnoscience and scientific science can increase students’ understanding of science concepts and make learning more meaningful. This study aims to reconstruct natural science teaching materials abiut local knowledge of Jatropha curcas communities based on MER (Model of Educational Reconstruction) with integrated particle material that makes up objects and viable living things .The procedure of developing teaching materials uses the RnD (Research and Development) model with 3 stages, namely define, design, and develop. Based on the results of the analysis of students’ conceptions at the define stage, as many as 62,68% of students don’t understand the concept of the material, so it is necessary to bring up the ethnoscience context in teaching materials so that students better understand the concept. Based on the results of the validation of the experts by getting a score of 0,895 and 0,87 with feasible criteria and can be tested for effectiveness.   Keywords: MER, Teaching Materials, Ethnoscience, Jatropha (Jatropha curcas L)

Abstract

Penggunaan tenaga kerja asing di Indonesia harus dibatasi baik dalam jumlah maupun bidang-bidang yang dapat diduduki oleh tenaga kerja asing. Hal itu bertujuan agar kehadiran tenaga kerja asing di Indoesia bukanlah dianggap sebagai ancaman yang cukup serius bagi tenaga kerja Indonesia, justru kehadiran mereka sebagai pemicu bagi tenaga kerja Indonesia untuk lebih professional dan selalu menambah kemampuan dirinya agar dapat bersaing baik antara sesama tenaga kerja Indonesia maupun dengan tenaga kerja asing. Tenaga kerja asing merupakan Pertama, masalah terdapat pada peraturan perundang-undangan ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia. Kedua, permasalahan terdapat dalam pelasanaan hak bagi pekerja lokal atau pekerja Indonesia. Ketiga monitoring dari pemerintah terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan swasta yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

Adanya jaminan atas kepastian hukum bagi investor asing yang berinvestasi di Indonesia, kepastian hukum merupakan salah satu bentuk dari perlindungan hokum bagi penanam modal asing, agar para investor dapan nyaman dan leluasa menanamkan modalnya di Indonesia sesuai dengan yang yang tercantum dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 25 Tahun 2007 tentang penanaman Modal. Perlindungan hukum yang diberikan oleh pemerintah Indonesia kepada investor asing. Penanaman Modal Asing di Indonesia wajib berbentuk badan hukum Perseroan Terbatas berdasarkan perintah Undang-Undang di bidang penanaman modal guna mencapai kepastian hukum. Kepastian hukum itu tercermin dari adanya aspek anggaran dasar, pengalokasian dana, berdasarkan perjanjian, tanggung jawab terbatas dan organ-organ perseroan itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource competence on the quality of financial statements. The population in this study is the Medan City Market Regional Company. While the respondents of this research are the accounting / financial management as many as 38 employees. The analysis method used is Simple Linear Regression analysis. After analyzing the data, conclusions can be drawn, namely: The results of the study using the t test state that there is an influence between Human Resource Competencies (HR) on the Quality of Financial Statements. In other words, if the HR competency variable increases, the quality of financial reports will increase.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dan melatih siswa dan guru di SMP dan SMA Idhata Kota Bengkulu untuk memanfaatkan simulasi interaktif PhET (Physics Education Technology) dalam Pembelajaran IPA. Metode pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah metode ceramah berbantuan power point dan demonstrasi. Jumlah peserta pelatihan yang hadir adalah sebanyak 19 orang. Hasil pelatihan adalah guru dan siswa memperoleh wawasan mengenai simulasi interaktif PhET sebagai alternatif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum IPA. Guru dan siswa telah memahami tata cara mengunduh dan menggunakan simulasi interaktif PhET. Guru juga telah memahami cara membuat Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) untuk membantu siswa melakukan praktikum menggunakan simulasi interaktif PhET. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pengabdian ini bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa dalam mempersiapkan dan melaksanakan kegiatan praktikum IPA menggunakan simulasi interaktif PhET. Abstract

The study explores the relationships between social media intensity, FoMO, visit intention, and potential mediation and moderation effects of perceived distance. 186 Muslim women were involved in the study, and the data were analyzed using moderation-mediation procedures. The results reveal a substantial positive correlation between the intensity of social media use and FoMO, indicating that an increased investment of time in social media corresponds to increased FoMO levels among respondents. Moreover, a robust positive correlation was identified between the intensity of social media use and respondents' intention to visit a place and FoMO's intention to visit. The results of this research study also reveal the mediating role of FoMO and moderating perceived distance on the relationship between social media intensity and visit intention. Public interest statement The study uncovers that FoMO significantly motivates the intention to visit the place. Further scrutiny indicates that social media intensity indirectly influences the intention to visit through FoMO, revealing mediation effects. The research sets the stage for subsequent investigations aimed at a deeper understanding of the roles played by social media and FoMO in shaping tourism intentions

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains mahasiswa melalui implementasi pembelajaran etno-STEM berorientasi permainan tradisional Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research, dengan empat langkah setiap siklus yaitu: perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), Observasi (observation), dan Refleksi (reflection). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 1 Program Studi S1 Pendidikan IPA pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes literasi sains mahasiswa. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata literasi sains adalah 44,85 dalam kriteria Tidak Baik pada siklus I dan 62,38 dalam kriteria Cukup Baik pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, terdapat peningkatan literasi sains mahasiswa setelah dilakukan implementasi pembelajaran ethno-STEM berorientasi permainan tradisional Bengkulu. Kata Kunci : Etno-STEM, Permainan Tradisional Bengkulu, Literasi Sains ABSTRACT This study aims to improve students' scientific literacy through the implementation of ethno-STEM learning oriented towards Bengkulu’s traditional games. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CLSR), with four steps in each cycle, namely: planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were all first-semester students of the Science Education Undergraduate Program in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument was a student scientific literacy test. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average score of scientific literacy was 44.85 in the Not Good criteria in cycle I and 62.38 in the Fairly Good criteria in cycle II. Based on these results, there was an increase in students' scientific literacy after the implementation of ethno-STEM learning oriented towards Bengkulu‘s traditional games.
