Abstract

Ulasan menjadi faktor penting bagi para pemilik bisnis dalam meningkatkan kredibilitas layanannya. Tidak hanya para pebisnis, pihak pengelola tempat umum dari pemerintah juga perlu menganalisis ulasan untuk membangun reputasi publik yang lebih baik. Salah satunya adalah Perguruan Tinggi Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ulasan publik mengenai UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur dengan dua model, yakni analisis sentimen berbasis Lexicon dan pemodelan topik menggunakan Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). Analisis sentimen bertujuan untuk mengategorikan ulasan positif, negatif, dan netral dari beberapa ulasan publik di Google Review. Sedangkan, pemodelan topik bertujuan untuk mengetahui topik-topik utama dalam pembicaran yang dibahas pada ulasan mengenai UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap 525 data ulasan, didapatkan sebanyak 352 ulasan dikategorikan positif, 136 ulasan netral, dan 37 ulasan negatif. Pengujian akurasi menunjukkan bahwa algoritma berbasis Lexicon memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 80%, yang menegaskan bahwa metode ini efektif dalam mengklasifikasikan data dengan akurat. Sementara itu, dalam pemodelan topik, berhasil diidentifikasi sepuluh topik utama pada setiap kategori sentimen, baik positif, negatif, maupun netral. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pihak perguruan tinggi untuk lebih memahami permasalahan dan kebutuhan pengguna sehingga dapat mengambil langkah perbaikan yang lebih terarah.

Abstract

Efficient waste management is one of the main challenges in supporting the implementation of the smart city concept. This research aims to develop a prototype of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based waste management system capable of monitoring the condition of waste bins in real-time through an Android-based mobile application. The system uses the forward chaining method to perform inference processes in decision making, such as identifying the status of the bin (empty, almost full, or full) based on integrated sensor data. The results show that the system is able to detect the volume of waste with high accuracy, send automatic notifications to operators or users when the bin reaches a certain condition, and provide practical solutions to optimise the waste collection process. With these features, the system not only improves operational efficiency but also supports cost reduction and environmental impact. The resulting prototype is expected to be the first step in the application of IoT technology in urban waste management to support the realisation of smart cities.

Abstract

Efficient energy management in public facilities such as public toilets has become an important challenge in the modern era, especially with the increasing demand for environmental sustainability. In this research, we developed a smart toilet system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the ESP32 as the main microcontroller and fuzzy logic methods for intelligent decision-making. This system is equipped with temperature (DHT22), humidity, and distance (HC-SR04) sensors to detect environmental conditions and user presence. Based on this data, the toilet fan and light are automatically controlled to minimize energy consumption. To facilitate real-time monitoring and threshold control, this system is integrated with a Flutter-based application, which provides an intuitive user interface for viewing environmental data and setting temperature, humidity, and distance thresholds. Fuzzy logic is used to determine the fan speed based on temperature and humidity inputs, with the output being a gradual fan speed control. (PWM). The test results show that the system can reduce energy consumption by up to 30% compared to the manual method, especially by reducing the unnecessary device idle time. Additionally, the system has an average response time of 200 ms to send sensor data to the application and receive threshold updates from the user. With this approach, the research shows that the integration of IoT with fuzzy logic provides significant energy efficiency and enhances the user experience. This research also opens up opportunities for further development, such as the integration of machine learning technology for predicting facility usage patterns or the implementation of additional sensors for air quality detection. These findings support the implementation of IoT-based automated systems in public facilities to achieve energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The Internet has become a platform for storing and accessing a wide range of public information. People tend to use social media to express opinions on products, political policies, and politicians, both as individuals and as parties. Sentiment analysis of presidential and vice-presidential candidates aims to understand public perspectives on each candidate. Based on sentiment analysis of the Indonesian public on social media, potential candidates for the presidential election, which is still over a year away, can be identified. This study categorizes sentiments into four classes: happy, love, sad, and angry. The model employs FastText embeddings with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The best performance achieved was an F1-score of 0.9510. The findings indicate that Ganjar Pranowo leads as a presidential candidate, while Erick Thohir stands out as the leading vice-presidential candidate.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a method for predicting malicious URLs using Random Forest and LightGBM algorithms. The dataset used in this research comprises 651.191 URLs categorized as benign, defacement, phishing, and malware. Key features such as URL length, number of directories, and URL abnormality are extracted and used to train the models. Evaluation results indicate that both algorithms have high accuracy in classifying URLs based on the provided features. The program allows users to input URLs for evaluation and provides predictions on the URL categories. The developed method is expected to enhance digital security by providing an effective prediction tool against malicious URL threats.

Abstract

Penilaian kerusakan jalan dan penentuan prioritas perbaikannya secara manual menghadapi masalah subjektivitas dan ketidakefisienan, terutama di daerah dengan variasi lalu lintas dan tingkat kerusakan yang berbeda-beda seperti Surabaya, Gresik, dan Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis desktop yang dapat mengklasifikasikan tingkat kerusakan jalan serta menetapkan prioritas perbaikannya dengan cara yang objektif dan terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan terpadu yang mencakup: analisis citra digital melalui binerisasi untuk mengukur persentase kerusakan, Logika Fuzzy Mamdani untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat kerusakan ('Ringan', 'Sedang', 'Berat') demi mengurangi subjektivitas, algoritma heuristik berbasis bobot untuk menghitung skor prioritas yang mempertimbangkan kerusakan, kepadatan lalu lintas, dan tingkat kepentingan lokasi, serta algoritma pencarian heuristik (Greedy Algorithm) untuk merekomendasikan rute perbaikan yang efisien. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa logika sistem ini dapat direplikasi dengan tingkat akurasi 100% pada pengujian validasi silang, yang menunjukkan konsistensi dan kehandalan metode yang diajukan. Sistem yang dikembangkan berhasil memberikan alat bantu yang dapat mengubah data kerusakan menjadi rencana kerja yang dapat dilaksanakan, sehingga berpotensi untuk mendukung instansi terkait dalam merencanakan pemeliharaan jalan yang lebih strategis, cepat, dan terarah.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi pola belanja Masyarakat melalui platform digital, salah satunya TikTok Shop yang merupakan fitur media sosial TikTok. Fitur ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam belanja online bagi para pembeli, khususnya dalam mendapatkan informasi terkait produk dengan menggunakan video atau live review produk secara online. Adanya fitur ini tentunya menuai banyak ulasan dalam produk yang mereka beli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kinerja algoritma Naïve Bayes dalam mengklasifikasikan ulasan produk di TikTok Shop, yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah penjual memahami opini pembeli dan menyempurnakan layanan serta strategi pemasaran. Metode penelitian ini mencakup pengumpulan data melalui platform Kaggle, Prapemrosesan kata, Pemberian nilai dengan TF-IDF, pelatihan model Naïve Bayes, dan evaluasi menggunakan confusion matrix serta metrik akurasi, recall, dan f1-score. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, model berhasil mengklasifikasikan ulasan positif dan negatif dengan baik dengan akurasi mencapai 88,74%, yang mana menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengklasifikasikan ulasan sesuai sentimen untuk membantu penjual menentukan strategi.

Abstract

Kualitas telur ayam kampung sangat penting dalam industri makanan. Deteksi telur busuk sejak dini diperlukan untuk mengurangi kerugian dan risiko kesehatan. Cara tradisional untuk memeriksa kualitas telur kurang objektif dan tidak efisien, apalagi untuk jumlah produksi yang besar. Penelitian ini membuat sistem otomatis untuk mendeteksi telur ayam kampung busuk menggunakan ciri digital dari gambar cangkangnya. Ciri warna diambil menggunakan model Hue, Saturation, Value (HSV), sedangkan ciri tekstur menggunakan metode Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM). Algoritma K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) dipakai untuk mengklasifikasikan telur menjadi kategori busuk atau bagus berdasarkan gabungan ciri tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ciri HSV dan GLCM bersama-sama dapat meningkatkan ketepatan klasifikasi hingga mencapai akurasi 0.9524. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini berpotensi menjadi solusi yang objektif dan efisien untuk mengontrol kualitas telur ayam kampung.

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is a vegetable commonly grown in temperate and tropical climates. In organic cultivation, lettuce has high economic value due to its high mineral content, including iodine, copper, iron, phosphorus, and others. Hydroponics is an agricultural cultivation method that uses water as the planting medium. This method offers advantages such as space efficiency and more. Currently, monitoring water in hydroponic plant cultivation is conducted periodically by growers who physically visit the cultivation site, including the reservoir tank. This process can be quite inconvenient because growers cannot predict when moisture levels will drop. One solution to this problem is to implement remote, real-time water monitoring for hydroponic lettuce cultivation using Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Therefore, a system design for IoT-based remote monitoring of moisture levels is required, allowing growers to monitor the condition of hydroponic lettuce without needing to visit the cultivation site. The research findings indicate that when the moisture level is dry, the system will display a value of 100, prompting users to receive a notification for irrigation. If the value is below 100, the system indicates that the planting medium is sufficiently moist.

Abstract

Global climate change has increased the risk of extreme weather events in Indonesia, necessitating an accurate and real-time weather information system. This study develops a cloud computing-based system capable of integrating national weather data in real-time, automating the generation of actual and forecast weather reports, and presenting this information through an interactive spatial dashboard. The system is built on a client-server architecture deployed on Google Cloud Platform, utilizing the OpenWeatherMap API, a Flask backend, and a JavaScript-based frontend (Leaflet.js and Chart.js). Evaluation results indicate that the system can provide integrated national weather data with latency under one second, generate automated multi-province weather reports, and deliver interactive heatmap visualizations of extreme weather risks. This system is effective in improving the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of weather information distribution to support decision-making in the maritime, transportation, and disaster management sectors.
