Abstract

Most countries have culture to show their identity in the world. China is one of them which has exotic tradition from others since century years ago. One of the exotic traditions was known as footbinding. Furthermore, Chinese mostly believes Confucianism as a study in their life and conceives of every organization as a patriarchy. The goal of the study is to present the impact of Confucianism to the main characters, Snow Flower and Lily, towards their friendship and their marriage shown in the novel, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. The doctrine of Confucius or Confucianism that they do when they were children has influenced their life, especially to their friendship and their marriage. The study also wants to find out their attitude and their marriage as the effect of Confucianism. Library research is used as the research method in this study. To answer the problem, the study explains about characters and setting, which are parts of elements of fictions. It also explains about friendship, marriage in China, and Confucianism itself. It can be concluded that Confucianism has an effect to the main characters’ attitude toward their friendship and their marriage. One of the main characters’ attitude has changed her friendship and got lucky in her marriage because of Confucianism.

Abstract

The study aims at obtaining information on the profile of cognitive conflict of students by giving intervention on understanding Algebra of students at Pangkep State Polytechnic of Agriculture. The research method employed descriptive qualitative. This study involved the students who experienced cognitive conflict as a sample. The instruments used in collecting the data were written test and interview.  Setiap mahasiswa selesai menyampaikan jawaban, akan diberikan informasi baru yang dapat memicu terjadinya konflik kognitif. Each of the students delivered his or her answer: he or she would be given new information that could trigger cognitive conflict. The results of the study reveal that (1) the students experienced cognitive conflict in determining set of completion on inequality  that did not have a zero divisor. Based on students understanding, quadratic inequality that difficult to be factored or the factors were not integers that did not have solutions, (2) the students experienced cognitive conflict in solving equation  that had infinite solutions. The students tended to work procedurally without identifying relational elements formed by the expressions. Abstract

This study discusses the problem of reading comprehension of students of SD Negeri 1 Teluk Betung Galik North Bandar Lampung 2018/2019 academic year. The ability to read comprehension in this study includes: (a) disclosure of the contents of the reading, themes, and facts; (b) the ability to retell; and (c) the ability to draw reading conclusions. This study aims to find out and describe how the level of reading comprehension of students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the authors used a descriptive qualitative method, while the data collection techniques were essay test techniques. The population in this study amounted to 30 students and the study sample was set at 30 people. The sampling technique used is the total sampling technique. Analyzing the data in this study is to use a percentage. Reading comprehension ability in fifth grade students in even semester SD Negeri 1 Teluk Betung Galik North Bandar Lampung 2018/2019 academic year obtained an average score of 69.99 this value is included in the criteria enough. Based on the aspects of the assessment, the value of reading comprehension in the aspects of the disclosure of reading content, themes, and facts is in the sufficient category with an average score of 61.66. The ability to read comprehension in the aspect of retelling ability is in a sufficient category with an average score of 66.66. The ability to read comprehension in the aspect of the ability to draw reading conclusions is in a good category with an average score of 83.33.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi  kelompok tani Mekarsari dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota kelompok, di Desa Abadi Jaya Kecamatan Maginti Kabupaten Muna Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling atau dengan cara disengaja. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan Fungsi kelompok tani Mekarsari dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota kelompok  di Desa Abadi Jaya Kecamatan Maginti Kabupaten Muna Barat. kelompok tani Mekarsari menjalankan fungsi yang meliputi adanya Kelas belajar, Wahana kerjasama, dan Unit produksi. Kemudian, Faktor pendukung kelompok tani Mekarsari dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota kelompok yang berdasarkan tiga hal faktor pendukung yaitu, partisipasi anggota kelompok, dan adanya motovasi anggota. Sedangkan faktor penghambat kelompok tani Mekarsari yaitu: pengairan yang belum memadai petani. Kata Kunci: Fungsi Kelompok, Kelompok Tani, Kesejahteraan.

Abstract

Bayi yang mendapat ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia sampai usia 6 bulan yaitu 1,8 juta bayi (35,73%), dan yang mendapat ASI Eksklusif usia 0-5 bulan sebanyak 1,5 juta bayi (46,74%) padahal target capaian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia adalah 80%. Penelitian ini menggunakan analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional dimana hanya mengamati sampel satu kali saja pada saat yang sama untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Desa Parit Kecamatan Sungai Jumlah populasi 32 responden dengan sampel menggunakan total sampling sebanyak 32 responden. Analisa data menggunakan chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar responden memiliki usia tidak berisiko sebanyak 25 responden (78,1%), dukungan suami sebanyak 24 responden (75%), dukungan suami sebanyak 20 responden (62,5%). Terdapat hubungan usia (p-value 0,000), dukungan suami (p-value 0,000), dan dukungan tenaga kesehatan (p-value 0,003) dengan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Posyandu Permata I dan II Desa Parit Kecamatan Sungai Gelam. Kesimpulan yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan usia, dukungan suami, dukungan tenaga kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Posyandu Permata I dan II Desa Parit Kecamatan Sungai Gelam. Abstract

Provider Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC) is an important strategy to increase coverage of HIV testing for pregnant women as well as efforts to control HIV/AIDS in Indonesia and is part of the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, new HIV/AIDS infections tended to increase, especially among housewives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Muara Badak Health Center found new HIV cases and tended to increase, while HIV screening for pregnant women decreased. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Provider Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC) program for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Muara Badak Health Center in terms of process (assessment of the mechanism for implementing the PITC program for pregnant women) and output (factors related to pregnancy). with program success). This type of research is cross sectional and the sampling technique used is accidental sampling. Collecting data using questionnaires and observation sheets with a sample of 86 pregnant women, Bivariate analysis using the Fisher's Exact Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that the implementation of the Provider Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC) program evaluation activities for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Muara Badak Health Center in terms of process, was declared to have gone quite well with a score of 32 (63%), while the implementation of evaluation activities the PITC program for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Muara Badak Health Center in terms of output stated, the results of statistical tests between the success of the PITC program and the basic principles of PITC (p=1,000), knowledge (p=1,000), attitudes (p=0.000) using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, and resistance (p=1,000). In conclusion, there is no relationship between the success of the PITC program and the basic principles of PITC, knowledge, and barriers. There is a relationship between the success of the PITC program and attitude. Muara Badak Health Center is expected to be able to monitor and evaluate the implementation of PITC.

Abstract

Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) adalah Infeksi yang penularannya terutama melalui hubungan seksual. World Health Organization (WHO) pada tahun 2016 menyatakan terdapat lebih dari 1 juta orang menderita IMS setiap hari. IMS memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar pada kesehatan seksual dan reproduktif di seluruh Dunia. Komplikasi dari IMS dapat menyebabkan kemandulan, gangguan kehamilan, gangguan pertumbuhan, kanker, dan memudahkan seseorang terkena infeksi Human Immunodeficiency Diseases (HIV). Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat diketahui berkorelasi dengan tingginya kejadian IMS di masyarakat khususnya remaja. Peningkatan pengetahuan dengan penyebaran informasi seperti kegiatan penyuluhan tentang IMS dan komplikasinya merupakan salah satu upaya penting yang harus dilakukan untuk mengurangi angka kejadian IMS di masyarakat. Tujuan dilakukannya penyuluhan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan remaja maupun pus tentang infeksi menular seksual. Penyuluhan ini menggunakan metode sampling jenuh dengan 30 responden. Metode pelaksanaan ini dilakukan pada remaja maupun pus di RW 01 Desa Tamansari Kecamatan Bogor Kabupaten Bogor dengan melakukan pengisian kuisioner pre-test dan post-test secara offline. Hasil yang didapat dari perhitungan uji statistik dengan menggunakan sistem komputerisasi yaitu menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasilnya diperoleh nilai t = -5.133 dan p = < 0,000 (p < 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat bahwa pentingnya memberikan edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja maupun pus tentang infeksi menular seksual. Penyuluh memiliki harapan agar tenaga kesehatan lebih meningkatkan penyuluhan di Posyandu maupun di klinik-klinik bidan sehingga remaja maupun pus dapat memahami tentang bahaya infeksi menular seksual.

Abstract

-Purpose Conceptual understanding is an ability to receive, absorb, and comprehend materials or information acquired through a series of events that can be directly observed or heard, stored in the mind, and later applied in daily life. This research aims to describe the level of conceptual understanding of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) among students majoring in Animal Husbandry at Politani Pangkep. -Method The research employed a descriptive analythic method with a survey approach. The data collection technique used in this study involved an objective test consisting of multiple-choice questions with four alternative answers which was distributed to senior undergraduates students on animal science department State Polytechnic of Agriculture Pangkajene Kepulauan, The data analysis technique using descriptive qualitative.. -Result The research results indicate that the overall average scores of Animal Husbandry students at Politani Pangkep fall within the sufficient or less category when assessed against standard criteria. Consequently, it can be concluded that the low level of conceptual understanding among students is caused by several factors, including the omission of Fiqh animal husbandry lessons from the curriculum, lecturers predominantly using lecture methods in teaching, a lack of learning resources, and students' insufficient interest in the field of Fiqh. -Implication a robust understanding of livestock fiqh has significant implications for ensuring the authenticity, quality, and integrity of the Halal industry. Individuals with this knowledge can contribute to effective certification processes, quality assurance, oversight, and community trust, ultimately supporting the growth and sustainability of the Halal market.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes Melitus (DM) adalah sekelompok penyakit metabolik dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia yang berhubungan dengan gangguan metabolisme karbohidrat, lemak dan protein sebagai akibat adanya difesiensi sekresi insulin, penurunan efektivitas insulin maupun keduanya. Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak rasional akan menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti masalah resistensi dan potensinya terjadinya kejadian efek samping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan mengevaluasi penggunaan antibiotik pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe II di Rumah Sakit Grandmed Lubuk Pakam Tahun 2022 sebanyak 57 pasien. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian non eksperimental dengan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif dan dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan tepat indikasi, tepat obat, tepat dosis dan tepat lama pemberian. Hasil: Hasil penelitian dari 57 penderita diabetes melitus tipe II diketahui bahwa jenis kelamin laki-laki 28,1% (16 pasien) dan jenis kelamin perempuan 71,9% (41 pasien). Berdasarkan usia 36-48 tahun 14,0% (8 pasien), usia 49-58 tahun 28,1% (16 pasien) dan usia 59-68 tahun 57,9% (33 pasien). Pola penggunaan antibiotik tunggal dan antibiotik kombinasi. Penggunaan antibiotik tunggal yaitu ceftriaxone 65,8%, meropenem 18,4%, levofloxacin 7,9% dan metronidazole 7,9%. Penggunaan antibiotik kombinasi yaitu ceftriaxone + metronidazole 78,9%, meropenem + metronidazole 10,5% dan levofloxacin + metronidazole 10,5%. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 34 pasien (59,6%) yang sudah mendapatkan terapi pengobatan yang rasional dan 23 pasien (40,4%) yang belum mendapatkan terapi secara rasional berdasarkan parameter yaitu tepat indikasi 100%, tepat obat 89,5%, tepat dosis 86,0% dan tepat lama pemberian 82,5%.

Abstract

To improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in building materials, teachers require the application of interesting learning models and media. In an effort to achieve this goal, researchers will apply the Make a Match learning model assisted by Magic Ball Learning Media so that students are more interested in learning activities. The type of research used by researchers is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles with data collection techniques through test results. The results of the research through the application of the Make A Match learning model assisted by Magic Ball Learning Media showed an increase in classical achievement of KKM (70) by 94% in cycle 2, which means this research was declared successful.Keywords: learning outcomes, Make A Match, Magic Ball
