Abstract

Institutional Strengthening of Community-Based Tourism Awareness Groups In The Development Of Sepahat Beach Tourism Awareness Groups play an important role in developing community-based tourism potential. However, in the context of its implementation, challenges and obstacles are found, such as an inadequate understanding of the principles of community-based tourism. The objectives of this service are: 1) provide knowledge about the principles of community-based tourism. 2) encourage creative and innovative tourism awareness groups to create tourist attractions. This service is carried out using the Participatory Rural Appraisal method through the stages of exploration, identification of problems and needs, program planning, program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The 25 partners in the community service activities consisted of Bengkalis Regency Regional Apparatus Organizations including the Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office, the Community and Village Empowerment Office, the Sepahat Village Government, and the Tourism Awareness Group. The results of the initial survey found that partners did not know about Community Based Tourism. The community service team conducted socialization to introduce the principle, followed by socialization about the importance of creativity and innovation in developing Sepahat Beach by paying attention to local potential. Beach tourism must be balanced with other tourism attractions so that tourists have a high interest in visiting. Supporting activities that can be carried out include organizing cultural festivals of regional characteristics, culinary exhibitions, and other arts. A significant impact of this service activity is the increase in knowledge about CBT principles. However, to change group behavior, it cannot be done in a short time. In other words, changes in group behavior before and after the implementation of the service cannot be seen. In optimizing the ideal development of Sepahat Beach, a number of efforts are needed, such as the preparation of a clear and directed program roadmap and further assistance by placing tour assistants.

The realization of academic benefits is also carried out through publication of manuscripts in accredited journals so that they can provide references to various parties. The results of this research will produce and map actor interests, status, roles and relationships between actors which can be used as a mitigation document for institutional management to optimize the benefits of the Sepahat Tourism Village for the community.

Abstract

Demographic bonus is a phenomenon when most of a country's population is in the productive age group, which can provide high potential for economic growth. 2020-2030 will be an important year for many countries as some of them will experience the peak of their demographic dividend. However, the opportunities and challenges associated with this situation need to be studied in depth so that the maximum potential of the demographic bonus can be utilized. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by Indonesia, which is facing a demographic bonus era. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of the study show that the demographic bonus is a golden opportunity for Indonesia to increase economic growth and people's welfare. With the population of productive age being larger than the non-productive age population, there is great potential to increase total output and production in various economic sectors. However, in order to take advantage of the demographic bonus effectively, it is necessary to make efforts to build quality human resources through improving the quality of education and job training. In addition, the labor market must be able to absorb an abundant workforce so that the unemployment rate can be minimized. The importance of digital transformation and the industrial revolution is also a focus in efforts to face the challenges of technological development. With support from the government, the private sector and the community, Indonesia has great potential to take advantage of the demographic bonus as a driver of sustainable economic growth and improve the welfare of society at large.

The results showed that the overall level of customer satisfaction was in the satisfied category, with a total score of 4462 from the five variables analyzed. The Empathy dimension scored the highest, indicating that guests greatly appreciated the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. However, the Tangible variable, particularly regarding employee neatness, received the lowest score and requires improvement. Quick responses in addressing complaints and guests' needs were deemed adequate, but some improvements are still needed to handle complaints more effectively.
