Abstract

The purpose of the service is to increase the capacity of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) in carrying out the duties and functions of developing Bandar Bakau ecotourism. To carry out this activity, the method that will be used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The method involves more target communities actively by studying rural conditions and life and wants the community to share, improve, and analyze their knowledge of local conditions and life then make plans and then act or action. The partners or target community consisted of the Village Government, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), local communities and arts and culture activist groups. There are problems both from external and internal groups that have implications for less than optimal performance, namely lack of ability in institutional management and lack of ability to innovate and creatively develop existing potential. For this reason, the main activities of this service are Managerial, Technical, and Social Development as well as Innovation, Creativity, and Marketing Training. This activity went well where the response of the community and activity partners was very positive. Things that need to be followed up include providing intense mentoring and coaching efforts to Pokdarwis so that they become established and independent in carrying out their functions in developing Bandar Bakau Ecotourism

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis modal sosial dalam pengelolaan hutan Imbo Putui. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan penentuan subjek secara purposive. Peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada 6 informan dan melakukan analisis data dengan tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa unsur modal sosial dapat memberikan manfaat yang positif bagi masyarakat adat Desa Petapahan untuk mengelola hutan Imbo Putui. Mereka memiliki rasa percaya yang kuat dengan tokoh adat, tokoh agama serta aparat pemerintah desa. Kepercayaan ini didasarkan pada faktor kesamaan suku dan nenek moyang, serta kemampuan para tokoh memenuhi ekspektasi masyarakat. Sementara norma sosial muncul dari kesadaran menjaga hutan untuk masa depan. Mereka mendasarkan diri pada kepentingan adat serta ajaran agama untuk menjaga segala sesuatu yang ada di bumi sebagai bentuk ibadah. Unsur modal sosial yang ada harus diperkuat dan didukung oleh para pihak secara aktif dalam bentuk penerapan norma maupun pemeliharaan jaringan sosial.

Abstract

The coffee shop is a space where coffee culture was first born and developed, which was initially only carried out by adults and dominated by men. Modern with various facilities and a variety of drinks offered for various circles. As one of the public spaces where coffee culture develops and not only buying and selling activities are there, but there are activities to exchange information or spend time while enjoying coffee alone or with friends. Coffee culture is not only a phenomenon among adults, however the phenomenon of coffee culture also occurs among young people as a space that gives rise to various activities or lifestyles that are influenced by modernist values. This research aims to find out how the coffee culture is before and after the social transformation at the Megaria Coffee Shop and Coffee Shop Boco Kopi. The selection of research subjects was carried out by accidental samples. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the results of the study, coffee culture has existed for a long time in coffee shops, such as the Megaria coffee shop. Then with the development of science and technology, people's needs increase, especially in the coffee industry, this stimulates coffee industry activists to develop in the coffee shop space so that coffee shops with a more modern concept emerge modern as Coffee Shop Boco Kopi. Abstract

This research aims to find out about the procedures for ordering forms for the Front Office Department at the Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru. The reservation form is the process of creating a list of incoming guest orders in accordance with existing procedures. Suka is an abbreviation for "Sultan Kasim" which was inaugurated in 2016, Grand Suka Hotel Pekanbaru is centrally located on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta, Pekanbaru, which is a subsidiary of PT. SUKA SURYA INTERNUSA. This research uses qualitative methods to analyze a collection of cases consisting of three key informants in this research. That is 1 Duty Manager, 1 Reservations Staff, and 1 Front Desk Agent. Sources were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the research, the conclusion of this research is that the front office department reservation form has been implemented, but improvements still need to be made so that the reservation form will be better in the future. Abstract

This research discusses the potential of Silek Pangian cultural performances to result in efforts to preserve Silek Pangian. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The movements in silek pangian are the pitupang, steps, tangkok, attack and sambuik movements, these movements are characteristic of silek pangian. Apart from the movement elements, in the Silek Pangian performance the musical instruments used are the traditional musical instruments of the Kuantan singing area, namely the calempong and gondang, the costume elements are also influential, namely wearing all black clothes, wearing a skullcap and cloth as a songket. Supporting elements such as property are important in the silek pangian performance, while using property elements such as swords and shields. In terms of the stage or place where silek pangian is performed, it is in the open air which has been prepared by the silek pangian administrators and the audience who witness silek pangian are from the local community. Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of service quality on Umrah pilgrims' satisfaction. The population of this research is alumni of the PT. Pandi Kencana Murni Pekanbaru congregation in 2023. This sampling technique uses the Probability Sampling method with a Porposive Sampling approach. The number of samples in this study was 80 congregations. The data analysis technique used in this research is Deskriptif statistics. Hypothesis testing in this research was carried out using the t statistical test. The data analysis technique used in this research is simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 19.0 for Windows data processing software program. The results of this research show that service quality has a significant effect on the satisfaction of Umrah pilgrims as evidenced by the results of the F-test seen in table 5.8. It can be explained that the F value = 53,850 with a significance of 0.000 at alpha 0.05 of the X variable (service quality) together. -sama has a significant influence on variable Y (congregation satisfaction). Abstract

Indragiri Hulu Regency has a lot of potential in terms of various tourist attractions. Its development is inseparable from the role of the community and local government who are aware of the opportunities in the tourism sector to advance the welfare of the surrounding community. The sustainability of tourism will be maintained if there is supervision over the management and development of tourist attractions. The goal of this research is to determine the supervision of tourism awareness groups at the Lake Menduyan tourism objects. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected through direct observation in the field, interviews and documentation. The research results found that supervision standards at the Lake Menduyan tourism object were carried out by the regional government assisted by the Pokdarwis based on the conditions of Lake Menduyan, assessment actions are carried out on cleaning officers and Pokdarwis. Then, corrective action was taken through warnings delivered by the regional government for the deviations that occured. Keywords : Supervision, Pokdarwis, Danau Menduyan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of room service employees at Turi Beach Resort Batam. A phenomenon that often occurs is that some room service employees lack initiative in serving guests. They are more concerned with the feeling of fatigue they feel due to a lot of work, so that when delivering orders to room service guests there are often delays in delivering orders. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurred by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research are the Food and Beverage Manager, Food and Beverage Supervisor and Room Service employees. In this research, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded. The performance of room service employees in the food and beverage department of Turi Beach Resort Batam is quite good. This indicates that employees are trying to work optimally. This can be seen, among other things, through: the quality and quantity of employee work, neat implementation of tasks, a sense of responsibility for work, cooperative relationships between employees and superiors and co-workers. Abstract

Batulayang Tourism Village is a destination that attracts the attention of tourists with its unique nature and cultural heritage. In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the tourism industry, a deep understanding of tourist behavior and preferences is needed. This study aims to detail the various segments of tourists who visit Batulayang Tourism Village, with a deeper understanding this is expected to produce recommendations to improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of Batulayang Tourism Village, This study uses quantitative methods with cross-tabulation and chi-square analysis techniques. Abstract

Traditional medicine badah ayam is a non-medical treatment or alternative medicine for the Minang people who use chicken as a medium for treatment. This research was conducted in Nagari Lubuk Basung, West Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to find out the process of implementing traditional medicine badah ayam and the reasons why people still use and trust this treatment. In this study the technique of taking the subject by using snow ball and purposive sampling which criteria have been determined in this study. The theory used in this study uses the theory of social action (traditional action and value rationality) put forward by Max Weber and health belief model theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. To obtain relevant research results, researchers conducted interviews with 8 subjects and also made direct observations in the field. The results of this study are that there are procedures for carrying out treatment and the reasons people use and trust this treatment. This traditional medicine uses chicken as a medium in which the disease in the patient's body is transferred to the chicken and you can see the disease suffered, then the chicken is consumed by the patient along with the spice leaves given by the person treating it. The reason people use this treatment is because of family traditions, treatment is more effective than medical treatment, diseases that do not go away. The reason people believe in this treatment is because this treatment has existed since ancient times and has survived to this day, family habits, and also the results and effects provided by traditional medicine to install badah ayam.
