Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis profesi barista melalui perspektif dramaturgi Erving Goffman, dengan fokus pada cara barista membangun citra diri (front stage) saat bekerja dan menggambarkan kehidupan pribadi mereka (back stage) dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Studi ini dilakukan di dua kedai kopi di Pekanbaru, yakni Tangkelekopi dan Serotonin. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengandalkan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa barista secara aktif membentuk personal branding dan citra profesional melalui penampilan, sikap ramah, serta komunikasi yang efektif dengan konsumen. Di balik layar, para barista menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup akibat penghasilan yang belum seimbang dengan gaya hidup atau beban kerja. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa profesi barista tidak hanya menuntut keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga kemampuan memainkan peran sosial secara sadar di hadapan publik untuk membentuk impresi positif.

Abstract

The coastal area of Sepahat village is known for its beach and mangrove ecotourism and is one of the priorities for tourism development in Bengkalis Regency. Institutional performance in developing the tourism sector and the creative economy is not yet optimal, characterized by a lack of membership management skills, formulating plans, overcoming problems and developing networks. In fact, tourism institutions and the creative economy are at the heart of optimizing existing potential. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze actor mapping and power relations between actors in the development of the Sepahat tourist village. The research results are expected to provide benefits from the academic side, namely in the form of textbooks and reference books related to the sociology of community empowerment, sustainable development and local wisdom. The realization of academic benefits is also carried out through publication of manuscripts in accredited journals so that they can provide references to various parties. The results of this research will produce and map actor interests, status, roles and relationships between actors which can be used as a mitigation document for institutional management to optimize the benefits of the Sepahat Tourism Village for the community.

Abstract

The Team Garuda District community is one of the many online motorcycle taxi communities in Pekanbaru City. This community was formed with the aim of uniting Grab online motorcycle taxi drivers in Pekanbaru City and a sense of close family between fellow professions. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of sentiment of the online motorcycle taxi driver community (Grab) Team Garuda District Pekanbaru City and the implications of community sentiment in supporting its members' online motorcycle taxi businesses using Emile Durkheim's social solidarity theory. This study uses a qualitative research method with data collection through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that first, the form of sentiment of the online motorcycle taxi driver community is feeling the same, suffering the same, and needing each other. This community sentiment causes the formation of social solidarity in the community. Solidarity in this community is mechanical solidarity and there are also organic elements. Second, the implications of the sentiment of the online motorcycle taxi driver community for its members' businesses are 3, namely improving service quality, increasing income, and improving skills.

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to increase the capacity of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) in carrying out the duties and functions of developing Bandar Bakau ecotourism. To carry out this activity, the method that will be used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The method involves more target communities actively by studying rural conditions and life and wants the community to share, improve, and analyze their knowledge of local conditions and life then make plans and then act or action. The partners or target community consisted of the Village Government, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), local communities and arts and culture activist groups. There are problems both from external and internal groups that have implications for less than optimal performance, namely lack of ability in institutional management and lack of ability to innovate and creatively develop existing potential. For this reason, the main activities of this service are Managerial, Technical, and Social Development as well as Innovation, Creativity, and Marketing Training. This activity went well where the response of the community and activity partners was very positive. Things that need to be followed up include providing intense mentoring and coaching efforts to Pokdarwis so that they become established and independent in carrying out their functions in developing Bandar Bakau Ecotourism

Abstract

The development of technology has made the Riau Province Tourism Office use Instagram to promote tourism. The goal of this research is to understand how Instagram content management is carried out by the Riau Province Tourism Office in promoting Riau tourism. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Instagram content management is in accordance with Chris Heuer's 4C theory: (1) Context: messages are delivered in photo and video format with captions, (2) Communication: information is delivered in a persuasive manner about destinations and events in Riau, (3) Collaboration: active relationships with followers and collaboration with other Instagram accounts, (4) Connection: always innovating and trending in packaging content and regularly uploading to maintain connections with followers. Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Steward SOP in the Food and Beverage Department at Turi Beach Resort Batam. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurred by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research are the Head Chef, SPV and employees. In this research, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded. aspects of implementing the Standard Operation Procedure Steward are in line with the standard operational procedures listed in the hotel itself. However, there are a few obstacles in implementation due to the age of the employees at Steward. Most of the employees who work are still young and always bring feelings into the work environment. The efforts made by the hotel in implementing the Steward's Standard Operation Procedure in the Food and Baverage Product Department of Turi Beach Resort Batam is to monitor the Steward's work so that the implementation of the Standard Operation Procedure runs well. and smooth. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the derivation process of processed sago food carried out by Yupaet Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Sago, which is one of the superior products in the Meranti Islands Regency area, has the potential to be developed into various processed food products that have added value. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Researchers observed and analyzed the production processes and innovations carried out by Yupaet MSMEs in processing sago into various processed foods, especially sago noodles. The data obtained was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in stages, namely reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research results showed that Yupaet MSMEs have an understanding of the techniques and processes for processing sago into various processed foods and have succeeded in deriving processed sago foods well, thereby producing processed food products that have added value. One of the processed sago foods that Yupaet MSMEs have successfully made is the first instant sago noodles in Riau with the product name Mie Sago Boedjang.

Abstract

Promotion is a way of communicating by companies or organizations to encourage or attract potential customers to buy products or services marketed.The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of promotion sago food conducted by related parties in Meranti Island Regency and the inhibiting factor in promotion implementation. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach, research subject is Industry, Trade, Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises as Management Party, staff of Promotion Building and Craft Promotion, and Cooperation of Tourism Office, Youth and Sports of Meranti Islands Regency and additional informant, that are visitors. The data collection is made by a interview, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is manager Taman Satwa Kandi has done promotion trought four media namely advertising, sales promotion, publicity, and personal selling not good. The inhibiting factor faced by manager in the implementation of promotion trought four promotion mix in terms of market properties fund for limited promotion, less support package, less local awareness so no effort from local community to take part in this culinary promotion, and the quality of human resources that still needs to be improved with training on promotion. Abstract

The research purposed to get known about the visitor's perception of the quality of service in attractions tourism of recreation park Alam Mayang Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative descriptive research with respondents consisted of 50 people visitors came to the Recreation Park Mayang Pekanbaru, selection of the study sample using technique accidental sampling. Data collection was done by observation, questionnaires/question form, and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it show that the characteristics of visitors are mostly women, 60% and 40%, mostly a student and come from local visitors. The visitor's perception of the quality of service is obtained based on the tangibles (physical evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) and empathy (empathy) is already good enough and visitors already feel quite satisfied with the service. Abstract

In research using this descriptive qualitative research method, there is a purpose to know the description of facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh West Sumatra Province. In addition, this research is also trying to know the management of facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh. Based on the results of research that has been done there are results indicating that the facilities in Tourism Object Ngalau Indah still has the shortcomings and not the maximum management of facilities in the beautiful tourist attraction. Viewed from the main facility only toilet facilities and facilities where the photo facilities available in Ngalau Indah Tourism Object is quite good only hygiene and treatment is less than the maximum seen from the Main Facility only toilet and photo place is still clean and well maintained because the building is still new and good. Apart from these 2 facilities the average cleanliness and perwatannya less than the maximum. Judging from the supporting facilities available in this beautiful tourist attraction such as mushalla less good because it is not maintained and not bersi. Likewise the existing cafeteria masi less good. The map designation of the location of the tourist attraction is good, just not the plan for the gateway in the cave. And also for facilities that aims to provide information should be held to facilitate tourist tourism activities. If the facilities are available in this beautiful tourist attraction like this ATM is already operating properly and safely. For puskesmas disekitaan beautiful tourist attraction ngalau is good for ordinary patients and patients who need first aid. If for the workshop can be summed up by a beautiful tourist attraction ngalau this is only a small workshop that can to add wind and nempel banen only. And for the accommodation available in the city payakumbuh already many just the average available sneakers are mostly three stars. And lastly for the network komuniksi available in this beautiful tourist attraction ngalau is good and good, visitors can access Android Smartphone is freely and satisfied, because the network for Android is already available with high quality that is 4G Keywords: Facilities, Condition, Management.
