Abstract

Character education is a special concern for national education goals. As a result of the nation's character, which has become ingrained in the ideals of the Indonesian nation's personality, being lost in schooling at this time. Learning closely relevant to daily issues might help develop good character. The minister of education in particular has announced the government's autonomous learning curriculum. The autonomous curriculum is an extracurricular study-based competency-based program designed to improve students' soft skills and character. As a consequence, it requires adjustments to processes, media, and sources or teaching materials. Measurement materials for learning physics in high school have been developed using a method called character-integrated SETS. In order to produce teaching materials that suit the needs, a number of tests are needed. One of the tests carried out is the validity test. This article presents the results of the expert validity test on the developed e-module. This research is a development research using the 4D model (Four-D model), which is limited to three stages, namely define, design, and develop. The research subjects consisted of 3 lecturer validators from the Physics Department of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Padang State Univercity. Validity is viewed from the components of material substance, visual communication display, learning design, software use, SETS (science, Environment, Technology and Society) approach components, and character assessment. Data validation results were analyzed using Aiken's V formula. The average value of e-module validation is 0.85 with a valid category so that e-modules are produced which are valid

Abstract

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian economy experienced negative growth of 2.19 percent (2020). This condition affects the decline in business in Indonesia, which impacts the increase in bank Non-Performing Loans. Generally, credit assessment by banks is performed based on the information figured in financial statements and therefore the accounting records can affect credit quality. This research aims to study whether earnings management carried out by companies during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis has a significant effect on the probability of default, especially for non-financial sector companies in Indonesia. The data was obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019 – 2021. The probability of default was calculated using the KMV-Merton Model and earnings management using the F-score Dechow method. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of companies that had a probability of default during the COVID-19 pandemic, but but the number of companies that indicated earnings management decreased. The result showed that the effect of earnings management on the probability of default is not significant. However, interested parties must be able to identify earnings management as early as possible, which can have an adverse impact on credit quality and anticipate possible defaults in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between conformity and cheating behaviour. The hypothesis of this study states that there is a positive relationship between conformity and cheating behaviour, with the assumption that the higher the conformity has, the higher the cheating behaviour, and conversely the lower the conformity has, the lower cheating behaviour. The participans of this study were 105 high school student in Gajah Mada School . The sampling technique used is disproportionate stratified random sampling. Data were obtained from a scale to measure conformity and cheating behavior. The calculation was performed using test requirements analysis (assumption), which consists of normality distribution test and linearity relationship test. Data were analyze by Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 20 for windows. The results of data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was 0,659 (p<0.05). It showed that there is a positive relationship between conformity and cheating behaviour. These results indicate that the contributions of conformity variable to cheating behaviour was at 43,4 percent, while the remaining 56,6 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. Based on these results it is concluded that the hypothesis stating there is a positive relationship between conformity and cheating behaviour, is acceptable.
