Abstract

Panen parsial adalah metode panen sebagian biomassa udang pada saat kegiatan operasional budidaya sedang berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan konseptual model optimalisasi pengelolaan budidaya udang vannamei (L. vannamei) pola intensif berdasarkan prosentase estimasi panen parsial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan konsep desain kausal ex-post facto selama satu siklus budidaya intensif udang vannamei (L. vannamei). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan, selama masa budidaya parameter kualitas air yang meliputi pH, suhu, oksigen terlarut, nitrit, dan nitrat masih berada dalam ambang batas, sedangkan posfat, TAN, dan TOM berada diatas level ambang batas baku mutu untuk budidaya udang intensif. Untuk konsep model simulasi pengelolaan budidaya intensif dari skenario panen non-parsial, parsial 10%, dan parsial 20%. Sistem panen parsial 10% memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan dua sistem panen lainnya. Yakni, dengan diterapkannya simulasi panen parsial 10% didapatkan nilai efisiensi biomassa panen sebesar 88.08 kg dan efisiensi prosentase survival rate udang sebesar 11% dibandingkan dengan konsep panen parsial 20% atau non-parsial. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, bahwa untuk konsep model pengelolaan budidaya udang vannamei (L. vannamei) pola intensif yang paling optimal berdasarkan hasil simulasi sistem pemodelan dinamis adalah konsep model budidaya panen parsial 10% dengan pelaksanaan panen parsial pada saat budidaya umur 60 hari.

Abstract

Fungia sp. merupakan genus dari famili Fungiidae yang sebagian besar terumbu karang soliter, melekat dan hidup bebas, serta dapat berpindah ke tempat lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis karakter morfologi jamur Fungia sp. yang ditemukan di Pulau Mamburit, Kabupaten Sumenep, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Metode survei diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dengan cara random sampling. Jumlah sampel dilakukan dua spesies berbeda dengan dua kali pengulangan di setiap stasiun. Stasiun yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah Leeward I, Leeward II, Windward I, Windward II. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan pengulangan, terumbu karang yang dipilih memiliki kemiripan yang besar dengan karakteristik morfologi di semua stasiun pengambilan sampel. Jamur Fungia (karang kelompok "a") dan Fungia scutaria (karang kelompok "b") adalah jenis spesiesFungia sp. yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis prediksi morfologi karang.

Abstract

Budidaya rumput laut adalah salah satu sub-kegiatan akuakultur yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan di Kecamatan Banyuputih, Situbondo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan kesesuaian lahan budidaya di Kecamatan Banyuputih Situbondo guna dapat digunakan sebagai area budidaya rumput laut berdasarkan nilai indikator parameter kimia air yang ada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di perairan pesisir Kecamatan Banyuputih, Situbondo selama bulan januari-maret 2019 dengan konsep penelitian lapang dan analisa spasial dari pengambilan data kimia air (oksigen terlarut, fosfat, dan nitrat) yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) dan overlay pada aplikasi GIS (Geographic Information System) guna mendapatkan model visualisasi peta tematik kesesuaian lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan parameter oksigen terlarut, fosfat, serta nitrat berfluktuasi secara variatif dan dinamis selama masa penelitian berlangsung, dengan kisaran konsentrasi 5.4-6.1 mg/L (DO), 0.8-1.6 mg/L (PO4), dan 2.1-3.7 mg/L (NO3). Kondisi tersebut, menandakan bahwa perairan pesisir Kecamatan Banyuputih cenderung subur dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai lahan budidaya akuakultur. Pernyataan tersebut juga bisa dilihat dari hasil visualisasi warna pada gambar kesesuaian lahan di peta tematik peneltian. Nilai konsentrasi dari parameter DO (5.4-6.1 mg/L), fosfat (0.8-1.6 mg/L), dan nitrat (2.1-3.7 mg/L) di perairan Kecamatan Banyuputih juga masih sesuai dengan ambang batas baku mutu kualitas air yang diperuntukan untuk budidaya rumput laut. Sehingga dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan, dari berbagai gambar peta tematik hasil analisis spasial berdasarkan indeks parameter kimia air yang ada, lokasi perairan Kecamatan Banyuputih sangat layak dan potensial untuk dikembangkan sebagai area budidaya rumput laut yang produktif.

Abstract

Seaweed is a commodity that widely cultivated in coastal waters. The purpose of this study was to map the level of water physics parameters suitability for seaweed (Eucheuma cottoni) cultivation activities in Banyuputih District, Situbondo Regency. This research was conducted in January-March 2019 with the concept of field research and spatial analysis of the parameter data included the temperature, salinity, current, brightness, and water depth which were then analyzed using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method and overlay on the GIS (Geographic Information System) application to create a visualization model for thematic land suitability maps. The results showed that all physical parameters were still suitable for seaweed cultivation activities. Temperature and salinity parameters fluctuated dynamically with temperature values ​​of 27.2±1.3-28.0±1.5 and salinity 29.0±0.7-30.1±0.6. Meanwhile, the current parameters, brightness, and depth of the waters fluctuated steadily with values ​​for current parameters 17.2±1.1-37.0±2.2, brightness 4.9±0.5-6.6±0.2, and depth 6.8±0.3-10.9±0.2. All water parameters were described in the thematic map display for land suitability based on geographic information system data. So as for the conclusions of this study, based on the condition of the physical parameters of the water (salinity, temperature, current, brightness, and depth), the condition of the waters in the coastal area of ​​Banyuputih District was very feasible to be used as a place for seaweed (Eucheuma cottoni) cultivation which was depicted through the description of the thematic map figure.

Abstract

The abundance of Vibrio bacteria and the presence of an excess Oscillatoria sp plankton type are the main problems that often arise in intensive vanamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) shrimp culture. To examine this problem, the purpose of this study was to determine of model approach interaction between the abundance of Vibrio and Oscillatoria sp with the shrimp growth rate in ponds. This research was conducted with the ex-pose facto design on intensive shrimp culture operations in Bayeman Village, Probolinggo. The results data from field research variable are analyzed using a dynamic modeling system. From the modeling analysis results, showed that the Oscillatoria sp abundance pattern tended to increase over with shrimp culture period as following the pattern of tropical status dynamics by the nutrient increase load of 16.37%/week in ponds ecosystem. Meanwhile, the increase of Vibrio colonies density in ponds continued to increase aggregately by 0.99%/week on nine weeks and 12.5% / week on the last eight weeks of shrimp culture periods. So, it can be concluded that the fluctuations density of vibrio and Oscillatoria sp bacteria in ponds is are bioecological responses from increased nutrient loads and other micromaterials in ponds due to the longer period of shrimp culture.

Abstract

Tilapia seeds is a fovorite of market commodities among fish farmers who are still not fully cultivated by fish farmers in Wlingi, Blitar Regency due to the limitations of market information. Based on this phenomenon, some farmers tried to establish a partnership system with the Breeding Fish Centre (BBI) Klemunan. The study purposed to analysis of the partnership pattern that occurs between tilapia seed farmers and BBI on effort to hatch and market tilapia fish using case studies qualitative approach. The results of the study show that based on the pattern and mechanism of cooperation carried out by both parties, it can be identified that the partnership pattern exists is a type of Firm-particular partnership. In Firm-particular partnership, BBI acts as a core partner have on obliged to provide technical assistance, while seed farmers act as plasma who are obliged present provide seed harvest to BBI for marketing. Relationship between the Firm-particular partnership is considered as a win-win solution that is beneficial positive impact for seed farmers to the procurement of superior fish, guaranteed to seed marketing, and obtaining knowledge of aquaculture technical. While for BBI Klemunan, this agreement might strengthen of brand image for the service assestment by costumer’s society.

Abstract

Intensive aquaculture of vaname shrimp (L. vannamei), has been known to be a favorite for aquaculture commodities in Indonesia at the last 2 decades. The purpose of this study was to determine status of financial feasibility and business sensitivity rate in intensive shrimp culture activities. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data analysis used to determine of financial feasibility and business sensitivity in the form of NPV analysis, Net B/C, R/C, IRR, and payback period. Also, an analysis of assumptions about rising feed prices and decreasing production revenues for the level of business sensitivity. The results showed that the shrimp culture business was categorized as feasible and profitable with NPV value of IDR 63,417,262,006, Net B/C 29.11, R/C 2.14, IRR 42.46%, and PP 1.4 years. Sensitivity analysis shows that the business is not so sensitive to the increase of feed prices and decreased revenue, but is very sensitive if both conditions change simultaneously, but are still in the financially feasible category. So, it can be concluded based on NPV, Net B/C, R/C, IRR, and  payback period indicator analysis that intensive white shrimp farming is very feasible and profitable to use with a low level of business sensitivity due to feed price fluctuations changes and uncertain operational business revenues.

Abstract

The prevalence of disease spread caused by improper cultivation systems causes a decrease in the productivity level of vannamei shrimp ponds. A low salinity cultivation system is one of the cultivation innovations that can be developed to reduce the spread of disease. The purpose of this study was to describe water quality status on aquatic shrimp culture and business financial feasibility in the intensive vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) culture with low salinity levels. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a purposive sampling technique of data collection. The result of the research is the Water Quality Index analysis value of 110 which means it is very suitable to be used as a cultivation medium. Profitability analysis produces a profit value of Rp. 244,456,603, R/C Ratio 1.35, BEP Unit 3,797, BEP Sales Rp. 188,745,587, and Profitability 35%. Meanwhile, the financial analysis of the business found that the NPV value was Rp. 19,627,985,863, the Profitability Index was 25.43%, the IRR was 27.55%, and the Payback Period was 5 years, which meant that this business was very feasible to be developed based on its financial feasibility status criteria. So that the overall, low salinity shrimp culture is very feasible to be applied when viewed from the ecological or economic advantage, and can be used as an alternative for vannamei shrimp aquaculture in areas that have the location of a pond far from the source of marine water.

Abstract

Sungai Meduri yang mengalir di desa ngaliyan, pandanarum, tirto, tegal dowo dan jeruk sari merupakan salah satu di kabupaten pekalongan yang diindikasikan tercemar oleh limbah batik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kualitas sungai Meduri ditinjau dari aspek fisika (suhu, kecerahan, TSS dan kedalaman), aspek kimia (DO, pH, BOD, Cr6+, Minyak dan Fenol) dan aspek biologi (plankton).  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan mei-juni 2015. pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak  3 kali dengan interval waktu 2 minggu sekali. Komunitas Plankton di Sungai Meduri terdiri dari kelas Barcillariophyceaea, Chlorophycea, Chyanophyceae, Rotatoria dan Entomostraca. Kelimpahan berkisar antara 1104-5393, Indeks keanekaragaman (H') berkisar antara 1,011-1,885, Nilai indeks Keanekaragaman terendah pada staisu. bila nilai indeks keanekaragamn berkisar antara 1-1,5 menandakan perairan dalam kondisi tercemar sedang sampai berat Indeks keseragaman (E) berkisar antara 0,564-0,978 dan indeks Dominasi berkisar antara 0,022-1,000.pada sungai Meduri tidak ada biota yang mendominasi.  Kandungan Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) di perairan Sungai Meduri memiliki nilai yang melebihi baku mutu air kelas III. Berdasarkan PP RI No. 82 Tahun 2001 tentang Pengelolaan Kualitas dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air, Baku mutu air kelas III untuk parameter BOD adalah 3 mg/l. Nilai Cr6+  dan Minyak masih berada dibawah baku mutu air kelas III yaitu 0,05 mg/l dan 1000 mg/l. Sedangkan nilai fenol paling tinggi terdapat pada stasiun 3 dan 4 yaitu 0,11mg/l  dan 0,07 mg/l, baku mutu nilai fenol adalah 1 mg/l.

Abstract

Kabupaten Batang merupakan salah satu wilayah minapolitan di pesisir pantai utara Jawa Tengah. Sebagai kawasan minapolitan banyak masyarakat Batang yang bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan, sehingga banyak diketemukan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) di wilayah ini. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menyampaikan kajian mengenai studi eco-teknis keberadaan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) di Kabupaten Batang, dengan harapan kedepan akan ada banyak konsep-konsep penelitian serta kebijakan-kebijakan yang bersifat konstruktif terhadap pengembangan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) di Kabupaten Batang. Di Kabupaten Batang berdasarkan studi literatur terdapat 5 alat tangkap yang dominan digunakan oleh para nelayan tangkap, yaitu gill net, trammel net, bubu, cantrang, dan arad yang jumlahnya masing-masing lebih dari 100 buah. Masing-masing dari alat tangkap tersebut memiliki nilai B/C Ratio >1 (arad 1.70, trammel net 1.55, bubu 1.69, dan gill net 1.27) yang artinya sangat layak dan menguntungkan untuk digunakan. Sedangkan terkait dengan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) sebagai fasilitas untuk kegiatan tata niaga nelayan, di Kabupaten Batang untuk sejumlah TPI seperti di Klidang Lor, Roban Barat, Roban Timur, Celong, dan Siklayu secara fasilitas kelima TPI tersebut dinilai sangat layak dan menguntungkan untuk mendukung kegiatan usaha perikanan tangkap yang dilakukan oleh nelayan. Selain itu ditinjau dari aspek sarana dan prasarana kelima TPI tersebut secara umum telah memiliki standar sarana dan prasarana seperti yang telah ditetapkan oleh Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan dalam Kepmen KP No. 01/MEN/2007 tentang persyaratan jaminan mutu dan keamanan hasil perikanan pada proses produksi, pengolahan, dan distribusi.
