Abstract

Kegiatan budidaya ikan di wilayah pesisir merupakan contoh aplikasi kegiatan usaha agrobisnis produktif yang dapat dikembangkan.. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengedukasi masyarkat melalui kegiatan pengembangan potensi desa pesisir., dan melihat respon dari masyarakat setelah dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Jeruksari Kabupaten Pekalongan pada bulan November 2021 dengan kegiatannya adalah penyuluhan dan praktik tentang pengelolaan potensi Desa Jeruksari. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini rata-rata masyarkat merasa cukup puas berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara langsung dengan mereka. Masyarakat juga merasa mendapatkan ilmu baru dan merasa senang dapat melakukan praktik langsung secara kolaboratif dengan tim dosen penyuluh. Berdasarkan analisa, dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan yaitu masyarakat merasa teredukasi dari adanya rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dan respon masyarakat juga sangat positif serta mereka merasa sangat diuntungkan terutama dari segi penambahan wawasan pengetahuan di bidang budidaya perairan

Abstract

Floating net cages are models of aquaculture cages for fish cultivation that are adaptable to the phenomenon of flooding and tidal waves. The purpose of this social service is to create a model of floating cages that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to tidal flooding. The method used in the implementation of this social service program is active participation and mentoring which is carried out gradually and periodically to groups of aquaculturist in Jeruksari Village, Pekalongan Regency. The results of this program show that all service activities starting from counseling sessions, mentoring (shopping materials and making cages), to monitoring when the cultivation period goes very smoothly and the aquaculturist partner groups are also quite enthusiastic about participating. The floating cages made from this program are made from cheap and easily available materials in the surrounding environment, such as bamboo, fishing nets, used floating cans, ropes, and stone weights. Based on the implementation of this program, it can be said that the fish farming community in Jeruksari Village is actually able to create practical examples of floating cage models that can be used as a pond for fish cultivation in areas prone to flooding and tidal flooding.Keywords : fish cultivation, cage, model, mentoring, counseling.

Abstract

Petik laut adalah tradisi kebudayaan masyarakat nelayan di pesisir Jembrana, Bali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola perbedaan pelaksanaan tradisi petik laut antara nelayan yang beragama Hindu dan nelayan yang beragama Islam di Jembrana Bali serta pola kebijakan di wilayah pesisir yang dapat dibuat berdasarkan adanya akulturasi budaya tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data berdasarkan wawancara mendalam (deep interview) dan pemberian kuesioner kepada 20 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tradisi petik laut oleh nelayan yang beragama Hindu dan nelayan yang beragama Islam adalah mirip. Nelayan Hindu melaksanakan tradisi petik laut berdasarkan pada keyakinan pancasradha selama 3 hari yang berlandaskan pada tattwa, susila, dan upacara. Nelayan Islam melaksanakan tradisi petik laut didasarkan keyakinan iman kepada Tuhan selama 3 hari yang diiringi dengan pembuatan larung sesaji. Tradisi petik laut merupakan hasil akulturasi budaya yang ada sejak zaman nenek moyang sebagai cara bersyukur dan memohon berkah kepada Tuhan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pola pelaksanaan tradisi petik laut antara nelayan yang beragama Hindu dan Islam terletak dari pada teknis pelaksanaan tradisi yang akan memberikan corak perbedaan. Tradisi petik laut di Jembrana yang berlangsung turun-temurun dapat memberikan fondasi kebijakan berupa (1) sebagai landasan dasar penyusunan peraturan daerah tentang pengelolaan pesisir yang berbasis pada budaya masyarakat, (2) landasan religius tradisi petik laut dapat dijadikan sebagai visi pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir yang lestari, dan (3) tradisi petik laut yang dijalankan oleh agama Hindu dan Islam dapat dijadikan sebagai opsi pengembangan cultural tourisms bagi pemerintah daerah setempat.Title: Implementation of The Petik Laut Tradition on Hindu and Islamic Fishers with Correlation of Coastal Resource Management in Jembrana   Petik Laut is a cultural tradition of the fishing community on the coast of Jembrana, Bali. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of differences in the process of implementing the petik laut tradition between Hindu fishermen and Muslim fishermen in Jembrana Bali and the pattern of policies in coastal areas that can be made from this cultural acculturation. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques based on deep interviews and giving questionnaires to 20 respondents. The results show that the implementation of the petik laut tradition by Hindu fishermen and Muslim fishermen is similar. Hindu fishermen carry out the petik laut tradition based on the five-day faith of five days, based on tattwa, morals, and ceremonies. Islamic fishermen carry out the petik laut tradition based on faith in God for 3 days accompanied by making offerings. The petik laut tradition is the result of cultural acculturation that has existed since the time of the ancestors as a way of giving thanks and asking God for blessings. The results of the study concluded that the pattern of implementing of petik laut tradition between Hindu and Muslim fishermen lies in the technical implementation of the tradition which will give a different style. The petik laut tradition in Jembrana which has been passed down from generation to generation can provide policy foundations in the form of (1) the basis for the preparation of regional regulations on coastal management based on community culture, (2) the religious foundation of the petik laut tradition can be used as a vision for sustainable coastal resource management, (3) the petik laut tradition carried out by Hinduism and Islam can be used as an option for developing cultural tourism for the local government.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of indigenous bacteria on the degradation process of physicochemical compounds in batik and textile wastewater. Research Methods: The method used in this study is a laboratory-scale experimental design and active participation involving batik business groups as partners. The data analyzed in this study were physical and chemical parameters of wastewater treated with bacterial isolates and aeration of 2-3 mg/L for 24 hours using an aerator blower compare with a capacity of 500 volts. The data were then analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that native bacteria significantly affected the decrease in pH and temperature parameters in batik waste, namely pH from 6.6 to 6.3, temperature from 29.470C to 28.200C. The results also showed a decrease in water chemical parameters which included BOD from 8.49 mg/L to 7.52 mg/L, COD from 5.52 mg/L to 4.40 mg/L, TSS from 272 mg/L to 187 mg/L, organic matter from 110 mg/L to 91 mg/L and increased dissolved oxygen capacity from 2.28 mg/L to 3.40 mg/L. Exactly the same conditions also occurred in textile waste samples, where the treatment of indigenous bacteria affected the decrease in pH parameters (6.8 to 6.7), temperature (28.670C to 28.010C), BOD (7.89 mg/L to 6 .11 mg/L). ), COD (12 to 9.5 mg/L), TSS (571.11 to 498.89 mg/L), organic matter (145 mg/L to 117 mg/L) and increased dissolved oxygen capacity of wastewater from 2 .83 mg/L to 4.01 mg/L. The conclusion of this study is that the application of native bacteria quantitatively greatly affects the rate of degradation of the physical and chemical parameters of batik and textile wastewater by 10-30% through the process of degradation of waste compounds for 24 hours. So that the treatment of indigenous bacterial isolates is considered quite effective when compared to no treatment.  Keywords: Organic matter, indigenous bacteria, wastewater, waters, pH

Abstract

Sungai Meduri yang mengalir di desa ngaliyan, pandanarum, tirto, tegal dowo dan jeruk sari merupakan salah satu di kabupaten pekalongan yang diindikasikan tercemar oleh limbah batik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kualitas sungai Meduri ditinjau dari aspek fisika (suhu, kecerahan, TSS dan kedalaman), aspek kimia (DO, pH, BOD, Cr6+, Minyak dan Fenol) dan aspek biologi (plankton).  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan mei-juni 2015. pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak  3 kali dengan interval waktu 2 minggu sekali. Komunitas Plankton di Sungai Meduri terdiri dari kelas Barcillariophyceaea, Chlorophycea, Chyanophyceae, Rotatoria dan Entomostraca. Kelimpahan berkisar antara 1104-5393, Indeks keanekaragaman (H') berkisar antara 1,011-1,885, Nilai indeks Keanekaragaman terendah pada staisu. bila nilai indeks keanekaragamn berkisar antara 1-1,5 menandakan perairan dalam kondisi tercemar sedang sampai berat Indeks keseragaman (E) berkisar antara 0,564-0,978 dan indeks Dominasi berkisar antara 0,022-1,000.pada sungai Meduri tidak ada biota yang mendominasi.  Kandungan Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) di perairan Sungai Meduri memiliki nilai yang melebihi baku mutu air kelas III. Berdasarkan PP RI No. 82 Tahun 2001 tentang Pengelolaan Kualitas dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air, Baku mutu air kelas III untuk parameter BOD adalah 3 mg/l. Nilai Cr6+  dan Minyak masih berada dibawah baku mutu air kelas III yaitu 0,05 mg/l dan 1000 mg/l. Sedangkan nilai fenol paling tinggi terdapat pada stasiun 3 dan 4 yaitu 0,11mg/l  dan 0,07 mg/l, baku mutu nilai fenol adalah 1 mg/l.

Abstract

Rumah ikan adalah suatu produk rekayasa teknis yang ditujukan untuk perbaikan ekosistem perairan akibat kegiatan perikanan yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan pendayagunaan hibah rumah ikan pada ekosistem perairan laut di kawasan pesisir pantai utara Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini diantaranya adalah pelaksanaan observasi dan monitoring evaluasi dari pelaksanaan program yang dilakukan secara berkala pada 9 kelompok nelayan pesisir di 7 Kabupaten. Hasil pengabdian menunjukan bahwa desian rumah ikan yang telah dibuat dan di tenggelamkan di 9 wilayah berbeda yaitu Kabupaten Brebes, Kabupaten Tegal, Kabupaten Pekalongan, Kabupaten Batang, Kabupaten Kendal, Kabupaten Jepara, dan Kabupaten Pati dirasa sangat menguntungkan untuk perbaikan ekosistem ikan di perairan pesisir. Pelaksanaan bimbingan teknis juga menyebutkan bahwa mayoritas mitra nelayan tidak mengalami masalah serius terkait dengan program pemanfaatan rumah ikan ini di wilayah perairan pesisir mereka.  Kesimpulan dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini adalah progres kegiatan pendayagunaan rumah ikan melalui skema hibah dan pendampingan yang telah dilakukan oleh BPI Semarang dan tim dirasa sangat mendukung untuk pemulihan ekosistem perairan laut di pesisir pantai utara Jawa Tengah selama periode 11 bulan awal.

Abstract

Microcytis sp is plankton species that is detrimental in shrimp pond ecosystems. The purpose of this study was to detect the abundance of plankton and the presence of Microcystis sp. in the waters of vaname shrimp (L. vannamei) aquaculture ponds. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative with added analysis of dynamic modeling systems. The results showed that pond water quality conditions were still good enough for shrimp farming activities with details of dissolved oxygen 4.01-6.17 mg/L, pH 7.7-7.9, salinity 20‰, temperature 27.050-28.250C, nitrate 0.01-0.15 mg/L, phosphate 0.05-0.20 mg/L, brightness 25-35 cm. For the classification of plankton found among them are from the Bacillariophyceae class, there are the genera Skeletonema sp., Cyclotella sp., Coscinodiscus sp., and Amphipora sp., from the Chlorophyceae class, there are the genera Chlorella sp., Oocystis sp., and Clamydomonas sp., from the Cyanophyceae class. the genus Oscillatoria sp., Microcystis sp., and Anabaenopsis sp. The plankton diversity index (H') was obtained between 0.01-0.33 and the uniformity index (E) was obtained between 0.10-0.50, meaning that the condition of the pond waters is still quite good and there are minimal indications of pollution. The abundance of Microcystis sp. obtained between 0.2x104-0.6x104 cell/ml. from the results of dynamic modeling analysis it is shown that the abundance of Microcystis sp. in pond waters is influenced by the value of the productivity level of the waters and the process of grazing organisms. The results of this study can be concluded that the plankton abundance rate found in ponds ranges from 0.4x104-1.9x104 cell/ml which consists of 10 genera and 3 classes of plankton. Then Microcystis sp. its presence was found in 3 ponds with abundance rate ranging from 0.2x104-0.6x104 cell/ml.Keywords:CultivationGenusGrazingModelWaters

Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan mata pencaharian dominan di Desa Wonopringgo, Pekalongan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak implementasi penerapan teknologi irigasi otomatis menggunakan tenaga surya bagi petani di kawasan lahan kritis Desa Wonopringgo Kabupaten Pekalongan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode pendidikan masyarakat dan difusi IPTEKS melalui kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mempresentasikan bahwa pelaksanaan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas (80%) petani merasa puas dan mendapatkan manfaat dari pelaksanaan program ini. Selanjutnya, sebanyak 33% petanin merasa sangat diuntungkan, 60% merasa diuntungkan, dan 7% tidak diuntungkan dari implementasi kegiatan pengabdian ini. Kemudian secara umum, sebesar 93% kegiatan pengembangan alat irigasi otomatis dengan panel tanaga surya ini memberikan dampak sebesar 93% untuk pengembangan kegiatan inovatif dan 7% transfer ilmu pengetahuan bagi petani di Desa Wonopringgo. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengabdian ini adalah dampak implementasi penerapan teknologi irigasi otomatis dinyatakan memberikan dampak besar dan menguntungkan bagi kelompok budidaya Tani Makmur di Desa Wonopringgo. Dampak nyata yang dirasakan oleh petani dari adanya program ini adalah terlaksananya kegiatan yang baru dan kreatif di bidang pertanian yang berorientasi kepada penguatan ilmu pengetahuan dan aplikasi teknologi oleh petani.

Abstract

Horticultural vegetables are one of the commodities that are widely cultivated in the tropics. The information is tried to be applied in the implementation of the Collaborative Social Building Community (KOSABANGSA) 2023 program. The purpose of this kosabangsa program is to determine the level of understanding of farmers on the cultivation system of horticultural vegetables. The method of service in the 2023 Kosabangsa program activities was carried out observatively and kuesioenr sharing conducting direct counseling in Wonopringgo Village, Pekalongan. The results of identifying the impact of this service showed that there was a very significant increase in farmers' understanding (50% increase by farmers) regarding horticultural vegetable cultivation. In addition, there was also an increase in knowledge by farmers about the types of horticultural vegetable commodities. From the original only 22 farmers who understood about horticultural vegetable commodities, after the extension there were 27 farmers who understood. The most noticeable impact is the increase in farmers' understanding of the horticultural vegetable cultivation system on critical agricultural land. This is evidenced from the beginning (before counseling) only 5 farmers who understand, but after counseling increased drastically to 26 farmers. Farmers also feel that this extension activity provides great benefits for them, so this program is very worthy of being developed further. The conclusion from the results of this service is that the majority of farmers in Wonopringgo village really understand the concept of horticultural vegetable cultivation which can be implemented on marginal land with various types of suitable vegetable commodities.
