Abstract

As input power, the amount of wind and wind speed greatly influences the wind power generation system. A combination of a wind-diesel power generation system is needed to obtain optimal power quality. A hybrid system is a controlled network of multiple renewable energy generators such as wind turbines, solar cells, micro-hydro, and so on. Gain settings that are not optimal and the time constant is small in Load Frequency Control (LFC), causing its ability to be weak (weak line). In practice, the wind-diesel system is controlled with a PID controller. Setting the gain value of the PID is still in the conventional method, so it is difficult to get the optimal value. In this research, a control design was implemented using the Smart Method to find the optimum value of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) based on the FPA (Flower Pollination Algorithm). For comparison, methods were used without control methods, conventional PID methods, PID Auto tuning methods, and FPA (Flower Pollination Algorithm) methods. Wind-diesel modeling uses transfer function diagrams of wind and diesel turbines. This study compares several uncontrolled methods and conventional PID, PID-Auto tuning, and PID-FPA. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the smallest undershoot is -1.187.10-04 for PID-FPA, the smallest overshot is 0 for PID-FPA, and the fastest settling time is 9.827 s for PID-FPA. So it can be concluded that PID-FPA is the best controller in this research. This research can later be continued using other artificial intelligence methods.

Abstract

Antacids are compounds that can neutralize stomach acid. Antacid preparations on the market are generally in the form of powders, suspensions, and chewable tablets. However, this dosage form is considered less practical, so an alternative dosage form is needed. FDT antacids are one of the quick-dissolving tablet strategies to neutralize stomach acid. The combination of Avicel PH 101 with a wicking mechanism and Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) with swelling action is expected to increase the effectiveness of the super disintegrant. The simplex lattice design method (Design Expert 7.1.5) was used to optimize the super disintegrant of SSG (A) and Avicel PH 101 (B). Tablets were prepared using the wet granulation method in an 8-run formula. The optimum formula for FDT antacids was determined by disintegration time and acid neutralization capacity parameters. The results showed that increasing Avicel PH 101 in combination with SSG decreased the disintegration time and increased the value of the acid neutralization capacity of the FDT antacid. Based on the optimization of the numerical method, the optimum composition of the FDT antacid formula was obtained with a combination of 38 % SSG and 101 % Avicel PH 101.

Abstract

Indonesia has a large potential for corn starch production since corn is one of the most widely grown foodstuffs. In addition to being a food ingredient, corn also has the potential as an excipient in pharmaceutical preparations because of its very high starch content, which is 72-73% of the total weight. In tablet preparations, starch is widely used as a binder, disintegrant, and filler. One of the weaknesses of starch is its poor mechanical properties. Pregelatinization is one of the physical modification methods that can improve the mechanical properties of corn starch. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pregelatinized corn starch on the physical, chemical, and mechanical properties. Pregelatinized corn starch was prepared as follows: 250 g of starch was added to 250 mL of distilled water, heated at 70°C for 20 minutes, stirred until thick, dried in a drying cabinet at 60°C for 24 hours, and sieved through a 16/18 mesh sieve. The starch was tested for its physical, chemical, and mechanical properties. The results showed that the pregelatinized corn starch base on physical, microscopic and functional properties  better than native corn starch in the formulation composition or process.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era digital menuntut pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan personal. SMAS Islam Al Falah Jambi menghadapi tantangan dalam mengembangkan materi ajar yang menarik karena keterbatasan literasi digital guru. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan fitur AI, khususnya Google Gemini, sebagai alat bantu dalam menciptakan materi ajar yang dinamis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan teori dan praktik langsung kepada 20 orang guru. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami manfaat AI dan secara teknis dapat menggunakan Google Gemini untuk membuat materi ajar sesuai bidang studinya masing-masing. Antusiasme peserta yang tinggi selama pelatihan menunjukkan potensi besar untuk penerapan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini berhasil menjembatani kesenjangan keterampilan digital guru dan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The growing deployment of renewable energy has become increasingly important as conventional fossil-based generation faces sustainability and resource limitations. On Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, wind energy contributes to the regional grid through several wind power plants, whose fluctuating generation introduces operational concerns for system stability. This study investigates the stability performance of the Sulbagsel 78-bus network by pinpointing vulnerable buses and examining the effects of wind power variability. A hybrid stability index (HSI), which integrates multiple stability indicators, is applied to obtain a more robust assessment. The analysis shows that the entire system operates within a secure margin, with all index values remaining below the critical limit (<1). The most sensitive areas are located on the transmission paths connecting Bus 56 Sidera–Bus 57 Sidera 70 kV (0.02268), Bus 38 Bosowa–Bus 40 Pangkep (0.02220), and Bus 73 Powatu 150 kV–Bus 74 Powatu 70 kV (0.02187). In contrast, the Bus 24 Tanjung Bunga–Bus 25 Bontoala corridor demonstrates the strongest stability margin (0.00026). These results indicate that the variability of wind generation does not impose significant negative impacts on the overall stability of the Sulbagsel power system.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTheophylline is a drug used in the management of asthma. It has relatively short half-life and narrow therapeutic index with 5-20 μg/mL serum concentration. Thus, Floating tablet formulations that can increase the bioavailability of the drug. The aims of this study were to determine the effect of the excipient (HPMC K4M CR and NaHCO3) to the quality of tablets and determine the optimum formula of theophylline floating tablet. A 22 randomized factorial design was used in development of theophylline floating tablet with HPMC K4M CR (A) and NaHCO3 (B) as independent variables.The flowability of mass tablet, floating character, and dissolution profile were chosen as dependent variables.The results showed that NaHCO3 was the most important factor on increasing flowability of mass tablet. HPMC K4M CR was the dominant factor in lowering the Flag time, improving integrity of the tablet, and decreasing the release of drug. The composition of HPMC K4M CR 40.00 mg and NaHCO3 35.39 mg produced the optimum formula of theophylline floating tablet with desirability value of 0.978.

Abstract

Pada saat ini proses inventarisasi alat dan barang dilakukan secara manual, sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk proses penulisan dengan tangan. Sebagian besar instansi pendidikan di negara kita tidak memiliki sistem yang menyediakan informasi inventarisasi alat dan barang secara online dalam hal ini study kasus di SMA 1 Kandangserang. Untuk menunjang kegiatan inventarisasi barang di SMA 1 Kandangserang diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang di sebut Sistem Informasi Inventarisasi alat dan barang. Metode yang di gunakan dalam sistem ini memanfaatkan web sebagai media akses dengan bahasa pemrograman menggunakan PHP dan MYSQL sebagai media penampung database. Dari hasil pengujian berdasarkan didapatkan bahwa aplikasi Sistem inventarisasi alat dan barang di SMA 1 Kandangserang dapat bekerja dengan baik. Sehingga ketika pengguna ingin mengecek apa saja alat dan bahan yang sudah masuk, bagaimana kondisi barang, berapa harga barang serta dari mana perolehan barang tersebut. Kata kunci : Sistem informasi, Inventaris, web, PHP, MySQL Abstract At this time the equipmen and inventory process is done manually, so it takes a long time for the process of writing by hand. Most of the educational institutions in our country do not have a system that provides an inventory of equipment and information online in this case a case study an SMA 1 Kandangserang. To support the activities of in inventory of goods in SMA 1 Kandangserang required an application called the Inventory Information System tools and goods. The method used in this system are using the Web as a medium access by using the programming language PHP and MySQL as a database container media. From the test results showed that the application system is based on an inventory of equipment and SMA 1 Kandangserang can work well. So that when the user wants to check what are the tools adn materials that have come in, how the condition of the item, how much the price of goods and where the acquisition of goods.
