Abstract

This study explores the role of women’s entrepreneurial leadership and digital gamification marketing in enhancing the business performance of fashion MSMEs in Bali, Indonesia. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document reviews involving selected women entrepreneurs in Bali’s fashion MSME sector who have successfully implemented both leadership and digital gamification strategies. The snowball sampling technique was applied to identify participants who met specific criteria related to entrepreneurial leadership and digital innovation practices. The findings reveal that women’s entrepreneurial leadership, characterized by empathy, inclusiveness, and collaboration, fosters creativity, innovation, and employee motivation, contributing to organizational growth. Gamification in digital marketing, such as point-based rewards, challenges, and social media engagement, enhances customer loyalty and purchase intention. However, MSMEs face challenges such as limited budgets, technological capacity, and maintaining creative consistency. The synergy between leadership and gamification forms a sustainable model leadership drives innovation and engagement, while gamification strengthens customer relationships and brand loyalty. Although the study emphasizes non-financial outcomes, including financial indicators such as profitability or revenue growth would enrich future analyses of business performance.

Abstract

MSMEs in Indonesia, including those in Singaraja, play an important role in the local economy, but often face challenges in improving their business performance. One of the psychological factors that can affect MSME performance is locus of control, which is divided into internal and external. This study aims to analyze the influence of internal and external locus of control on MSME business performance in Singaraja with a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected from 62 MSMEs in Singaraja through a questionnaire measuring internal locus of control, external locus of control, and business performance. gacorqq The results of the analysis show that internal locus of control has a positive and significant effect on MSME business performance (regression coefficient = 0.354, p-value = 0.003), while external locus of control does not show a significant effect on business performance (regression coefficient = -0.056, p-value = 0.467). This study concludes that MSME owners with internal locus of control are more proactive in managing their businesses, which leads to better business performance. The practical implication of this research is the need for a program that develops internal locus of control for MSME owners to improve their business performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how two or more factors interact. The research location is Bank BRI Singaraja. The subjects in this research were micro credit marketers at Bank BRI Singaraja. The object of this research is motivation, work discipline, rotation on performance. Purposive sampling was employed to choose the 84 participants that made up the study's sample. A Google Form is used to complete a questionnaire as part of the data collecting strategy. This research uses regression analysis methods for figuring out how the independent and dependent variables are causally related. The research results show: (1) The relationship between performance (Y) and motivation (X1). The incentive variable (X1) has a t value of 1.571 according to the t test findings, which is less than the t table value of 1.633. It can be said that motivation (X1) has a negative impact on performance (Y). This means that lower motivation means less performance produced by employees. (2) Evaluating the importance of work discipline's impact (X2) on output (Y). The work discipline variable (X2) has a t value of 1.511 according to the t test findings, which is higher than the t value of 1.633 in the table. Therefore, it can be concluded that performance (Y) is positively and significantly impacted by work discipline (X2). This implies that an employee's performance level will improve with increased job discipline. (3) In order to determine the importance of the rotation (X3) influence on performance (Y), the t test findings indicate that the rotation variable (X3) has a t value of 6.402, which is more than the t value of 1.633 in the table. Job rotation (X3) is proven to be positive and important for performance (Y). This means that employees with regular rotation have a higher level of performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of training, motivation, and work environment on employee productivity, with technology support as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on archival officers at Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Bali (General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Bali Province) using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis to examine both direct and indirect effects among variables. The results show that training, motivation, and work environment each have a significant positive influence on productivity. Technology support significantly mediates the relationship between training and productivity, as well as between work environment and productivity, indicating that employees perform better when equipped with adequate technological tools and competencies. However, the mediating role of technology on the effect of motivation is less substantial. The study implies that improving digital infrastructure and providing continuous technology-based training are essential strategies for enhancing productivity in public-sector archival institutions.

Abstract

This study investigates the differential impact of microfinance on household welfare in rural and urban areas of Indonesia through a quantitative comparative analysis. Employing data from the 2018 National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) covering 294,426 households across Indonesia's 38 provinces, this research utilizes binary logistic regression and propensity score matching to assess welfare outcomes. The findings reveal that microfinance access significantly improves household welfare indicators in both settings, with statistically significant stronger effects observed in rural areas (coefficient: 0.312, p<0.01) compared to urban areas (coefficient: 0.197, p<0.01). Rural households with microfinance access demonstrate a 29% increase in monthly income and 23% improvement in consumption expenditure, while urban households exhibit 17% and 14% increases respectively. The study identifies loan purpose, monthly income, interest rates, education level, and household size as significant predictors of welfare improvement. Results indicate that rural poverty rates decreased from 12.22% to 11.79%, while urban poverty declined from 7.29% to 7.09% between 2023-2024. These findings suggest that microfinance serves as a more effective poverty alleviation mechanism in rural contexts, primarily due to limited alternative financial access and higher vulnerability to income shocks. Policy implications emphasize the need for geographically differentiated microfinance strategies that account for rural-urban disparities in financial infrastructure, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and socioeconomic conditions.

Abstract

Bonyoh Village in Bangli Regency has great potential for development in the sectors of horticultural agriculture, livestock, educational agro-tourism, and renewable energy. Located on the southern slopes of the Mount Batur Caldera at an altitude of 850–950 meters above sea level, the village has a cool climate and high rainfall that support the cultivation of high-value crops such as Siam oranges, Arabica coffee, and chili peppers. However, this potential has not been fully utilized due to limited basic infrastructure, particularly the lack of a permanent irrigation system and proper water management. The hilly topography prevents the village from receiving water supply from Lake Batur, making agricultural productivity highly dependent on rainfall. In the livestock sector, work efficiency remains low since feeding and waste management activities are still performed manually. To address these issues, a technology demonstration plot approach, hands-on training, and institutional mentoring are implemented. Appropriate technological innovations include the construction of a well-dam system with a submersible pump, the application of smart farming through solar-powered drip irrigation for citrus cultivation, and the utilization of livestock waste for biogas production. This program is expected to improve energy efficiency, enhance agricultural productivity, and realize a sustainable, zero-waste integrated farming system.
