Abstract

Background: Fatigue can reduce working performance, worker motivation, and work produc­tivity. Fatigue due to exposure to heat pressure which causes excessive sweating must be overcome through the provision of fluids that are right for workers. Coconut water contains electrolytes, so it is very good to replace lost body fluids during activities throughout the day. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences in work fatigue with interventions giving 4 liters of drinking water and giving 1 liter of young coconut water (Cocos nucifera L.) accompanied by giving 3 liters of drinking water.Subjects and Method: This study is a quasi-experimental design with a research design of one group pre and post-test design. The study population was the production of cassava chips factory workers with a total sample of 20 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The dependent variable is work fatigue while the independent variable is giving 4 liters of drinking water and giving 1 liter of young coconut water (Cocosnucifera L) accompanied by giving 3 liters of drinking water. The type of data collected is primary data in the form of work fatigue (in milliseconds) measured using the Reaction Timer. Bivariate analysis was conducted using the paired T-test.Results: Fatigue after giving 1 liter of young coconut water and 3 liters of drinking water was lower (mean = 118.00; p = 0.001) than the group given 4 liters of drinking water (mean 164.94; p= 0.001).Conclusion: Work fatigue in the group given 1 liter of young coconut water and 3 liters of drinking water was lower than the group given 4 liters of drinking water.Keywords: fatigue, young coconut water, drinking water, heat pressureCorrespondence: Bona Rina Ria Rajagukguk. Abstract

Hipertensi bisa disebabkan oleh tubuh orang yang gemuk, jantungnya bekerja lebih keras untuk memompa darah. Kondisi ini bisa disingkat naiknya tekanan darah. Obesitas dan hipertensi adalah masalah kesehatan yang ada di Indonesia bahkan di kalangan wanita usia produktif. Salah satu faktor risiko yang dapat menyebabkan hipertensi pada obesitas adalah diet dan aktivitas fisik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh diet dan aktivitas fisik pada kejadian obesitas dengan hipertensi pada WUS. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case control. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 104 WUS obesitas (52 kasus dan 52 kontrol). Pengambilan data menggunakan penimbangan, tinggi badan, dan tekanan darah. Analisis bariariat (regresi logistik sederhana) asupan protein (0,003) dan asupan garam (0,000). Multivariat (regresi logistik berganda) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara asupan protein (p = 0,009, OR = 27,66, CI 95% = 0,762-73,65), dan asupan garam (p = 0,000, OR = 977, CI 95 % = 41,58-22965). Disarankan bagi WUS untuk mengontrol berat badan dan memeriksa tekanan darah secara teratur juga mengikuti edukasi tentang diet.Hypertension might be the result of obesity, where the heart works harder to pump blood. This condition is also known as high blood pressure. Obesity and hypertension are health problems that exist in Indonesia even among women of childbearing age. One of the risk factors that can cause hypertension in obesity is diet and physical activity. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of diet and physical activity on the incidence of obesity with hypertension in women of childbearing age. This study uses case control design. The sample in this study were 104 obese women of childbearing age (52 cases and 52 controls). Data collection methods include measuring weight, height, and blood pressure. Bariatric analysis (simple logistic regression) protein intake (0.003) and salt intake (0,000). Multivariate (multiple logistic regression) there was a significant effect between protein intake (p = 0.009, OR = 27.66, 95% CI = 0.762-73.65), and salt intake (p = 0.000, OR = 977, 95% CI = 41.58-22965). It is recommended for women of childbearing age to control body weight and check blood pressure regularly as well as to attend education on diet.

Abstract

Lower breastfeeding is a service for infant growth, if exclusive breastfeeding will not, infants will be more susceptible and greater for growth and stamina of children where the prevalence of post partum mothers who produce milk is not fluent that is equal to 60% . This study aims to determine the relationship of data with the smooth production of mother's milk post partum in the Working Area of Peusangan Selatan Public Health Center of Bireuen Regency of Aceh Province. This type of research is an observational analytic study using cross sectional design. The population of this study is all post partum mothers, in Peusangan Selatan Public Health Center report conducted in February-October 2017. The sample in this research is open 69 people. The data were analyzed by univariate to see the variables and bivariate with chi-square test to see the relation between the variables. Based on the result of the research to measure the relationship with the mother's milk production with p value = 0,019 PR = 2,438 (95% CI 1,261-4,711) . It was concluded that mothers with good facilities had an opportunity of 2,438 times to have breast milk production working with mothers with poor breastfeeding frequency.

Abstract

Pemberian ASI eksklusif secara global kurang dari 43% pada bayi usia 6 bulan. Dinegara-negara berkembang setiap tahun terdapat 101.1 milyar anak-anak yang tidak mendapatkan ASI sesuai dengan rekomendasi internasional dan di Indonesia persentase ASI eksklusif hanya 30,2%. Bayi yang tidak diberi ASI eksklusif berisiko lebih tinggi mengalami gangguan perkembangan dibandingkan bayi yang diberi ASI eksklusif. Perkembangan bayi sebagian besar ditentukan oleh jumlah ASI yang diperoleh bayi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan perkembangan bayi usia 6-12 bulan berdasarkan pemberian ASI di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Perawatan Ngkeran Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara. Jenis penelitian bersifat analitik komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 124 orang yang terdiri dari 62 bayi yang diberi ASI eksklusif dan 62 bayi yang tidak ASI eksklusif yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner melalui wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2017. Analisis data bivariat dilakukan dengan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan bayi yang sesuai dengan umur pada bayi yang tidak ASI eksklusif lebih rendah dibandingkan bayi yang ASI eksklusif (71,0%) dan (90,3%). Hasil uji statistik ada perbedaan perkembangan bayi berdasarkan pemberian ASI (p=0,006) dengan nilai PR=3,818 (95% CI: 1,398-10,429). Bayi yang tidak  diberi ASI eksklusif berisiko 3,818 kali mengalami perkembangan kurang baik dibandingkan bayi yang diberi ASI eksklusif. Diharapkan kepada ibu agar memberikan ASI secara eksklusif  dan  mengikuti  standar emas pemberian makan pada bayi sesuai rekomendasi WHO dan UNICEF.Kata kunci: ASI eksklusif, perkembangan.

Abstract

The problems faced by partners in community service locations are teenagers in the majority of research sites who are obese, and students in schools do not understand how to behave in a healthy life. During adolescence there is rapid growth and development both in terms of physical, psychological and intellectual. In supporting adolescent growth, nutritional adequacy is needed. Nutrient component requirements include: energy, protein, and other micronutrients which have increased significantly. Adolescent life is not only centered on one thing, the challenges currently faced by adolescents today range from relationships, physical health, mental health, child marriage and others. This dedication activity aims to create youth cadres who understand health, later after this activity is carried out, young people are expected to be agents of change in their environment both within the school, home and community. This Training of Trainers activity is held for 2 days with reference to modules that have been prepared specifically for adolescents. This activity is formulated with games that have objectives in accordance with the material presented. The number of participants who attended the training were 30 participants who were in high school. The training of trainers is expected to increase knowledge, raise awareness and be able to inform health in the school, family and community environment.

Abstract

Colostrum is milk that is secreted by the breast of the mother first after giving birth. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influenced the administration of colostrum among mothers with a post-sectio cesarean. An analytic survey with a cross-sectional design was applied in this study. The data analysis method used in this study uses a multiple logistic regression statistical test. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers who had birth by cesarean sectio procedure. One hundred samples were selected by accidental sampling technique. The results showed that the administration of colostrum among mothers with post sectio cesarean were 75%, The initiation of breastfeeding was 62%, of them have lack knowledge, the support of majority husbands is more petite that is 82%, the role of the majority of health workers is less by 51%. Multivariate test results obtained the probability of a husband's support variable (p = 0.0001) and the role of health workers (p = 0.038) likely to cause post-section cesarean mothers not to give colostrum by 96 percent, while 4 percent is due to other factors

Abstract

Saat ini banyak sekali ditemukan anak-anak yang mengalami obesitas Obesitas termasuk pada siswa sekolah dasar. Obesitas menjadi permasalahan yang sangat serius bagi siswa sekolah dasar karena akan dapat memicu terjadinya berbagai penyakit degeneratif kedepannya. Salah satu yang memiliki peran penting dalam pencegahan obesitas pada siswa sekolah dasar adalah guru, hal ini disebabkan guru memiliki waktu yang lama bersama siswa sekolah dasar di sekolah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dan kejadian obesitas siswa sekolah dasar di kota Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah anak sekolah dasar di Kota Medan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar sebanyak 309 siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di Kota Medan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner kepada siswa sekolah dasar untuk menilai peran guru dan pengukuran antopometri IMT/U untuk tingkat obesitas. Analisis data yaitu univariat, bivariat dengan uji chi square.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian obesitas anak sekolah (p=0,713). Terdapat hubungan antara perang orangtua dengan kejadian obesitas (p=0,016). Diharapkan kepada guru untuk memperhatikan siswa sekolah dasar yang obesitas dengan mengawasi kebiasaan makan anak yang berlebihan dan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik anak. Guru diharapkan dapat berkoordinasi dengan orangtua siswa sekolah dasar untuk menerapkan sarapan sehat dirumah agar mengurangi konsumsi jajan di sekolah.

Abstract

Hipertensi dapat diakibatkan karena kondisi tubuh orang yang gemuk, Obesitas dan hipertensi adalah masalah kesehatan yang ada di masyarakat Indonesia bahkan dikalangan wanita usia subur. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui asupan protein dan asupan garam terhadap kejadian Hipertensi pada WUS obesitas di Patumbak. Metode penelitian case control. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 104 WUS (52 kasus dan 52 kontrol). Pengambilan data menggunakan penimbangan berat badan, tinggi badan, tekanan darah dan wawancara recall konsumsi. Analisis bivariate (regresi logistik sederhana) asupan protein (0,003), ada pengaruh signifikan antara asupan protein. Saran: WUS agar mengontrol berat badan dan memeriksakan tekanan darah secara teratur dan mengikuti edukasi tentang pola makan.

Abstract

Diversification program needs no introduction processed pumpkin and catfish to get new food alternatives . Yellow squash and catfish have the potential as a source of nutrients because it contains a number of macro-nutrients and micro-nutrients. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutrient content of energy and protein biscuits and test the acceptance of pumpkin flour and catfish organoleptic analysis covering the taste, aroma, color, and texture of the biscuit is determined by using a hedonic scale.This study is an experimental research making biscuits with the addition of pumpkin flour and catfish by 20 %, 30 %, and 40 %. Meanwhile, the protein content using the method Kjeldhal, fat extraction method, carbohydrate hydrolysis method, and energy by using the method of calculations carried out in the laboratory of Research and Standardization Agency for Industrial Field. Panelists in this study was the son of SD Negeri No. 067 097 Medan, as many as 30 people, FKM USU students as much as 30 people, and pregnant women at the Maternity Clinic as many as 30 people. The results showed that pumpkin flour biscuits and catfish has an energy content of 40% and a high protein and low in carbohydrates and fat. Based on the results of organoleptic test showed that the addition of flour biscuits with pumpkin and catfish include aroma, color, flavor, and texture are the most preferred and pumpkin flour biscuits catfish 20 % in primary school children. Advised the public to be able to make biscuits and pumpkin flour catfish as a food supplement for pregnant women and for children of primary school age and developmental growth. Also, further research needs to be done on making pumpkin flour biscuits and catfish to enhance the flavor and aroma that pregnant women like to eat pumpkin biscuit flour and catfish. Abstract

Being a teenager is the period development transition between childhood and adulthood involving biological, cognitive and psychosocial changes. Stress causes eating disorder in the forms of less or increasing appetite and nutritional absorption disorder. The purpose of this quantitative analytical survey study with cross-sectional design was to the relationship between the status of psychosocial stress with food consumption and nutritional status. The samples for this study were 77 students of SMU Methodist 8 Medan. The data about the status of psychosocial stress were obtained through distributing ALCES questionnaire. The data about food consumption were obtained through 2 x 24 hour food recall forms. The data about anthropometry collected were body height and body weight. The data obtained were analyzed through Chi-square test. The result of this study showed that 30 respondents (39%) were with normal nutritional status, 27 respondents (35%) were fat, 11 respondents (14.3%) were thin. It was also found out that 47 respondents (61.0%) were with the status of severe psychosocial stress, 18 respondents (23.4%) with the status of medium psychosocial stress. The result of Chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the status of psychosocial stress and food consumption, between the status of psychosocial stress and nutritional status, and between energy consumption and the students’ nutritional status. It is suggested to reduce the stress status of the students, need to facilitate the development of the talent of the students through sport, art or any other activity.
