Abstract

Hasil pelaksanaan program PKS di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya berjalan baik, untuk menanaman karakter bagi peserta didik sangatlah baik, menguatkan karakter disiplin sangat baik, sedangkan menguatkan karakter tanggung jawab juga sangat baik. Patroli Keamanan Sekolah adalah sebuah program, yang memiliki tugas mengadakan pengawasan keamanan, ketertiban, kelancaran lalu lintas di sepanjang jalan menuju ke sekolah. Selain itu PKS juga merupakan program unggulan di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melalukan penelitian dengan judul “Penerapan Program Patroli Keamaman Sekolah (PKS) untuk Mengutakan Karakter Disiplin dan Tanggung Jawab pada Peserta didik Kelas 5 SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya”. PKS adalah sebuah program yang dilaksanakan di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya. Mengapa PKS itu sendiri diteliti karena untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program PKS di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya, untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya, pelaksanaan program PKS guna menguatkan karakter disiplin peserta didik, pelaksanaan program PKS guna menguatkan karakter tanggung jawab peserta didik di SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya.Implementation of the School Safety Patrol (PKS) program to strengthen the Discipline Character and Responsibility of Grade 5 students at Tenggilis Mejoyo I Elementary School in Surabaya. The results of the implementation of the PKS program at SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya went well, to cultivate character for students is very good, strengthen the character of discipline very well, while strengthening the character of responsibility is also very good. The School Safety Patrol is a program, which has the task of carrying out security, order, and smooth traffic control along the road to the school. Besides that PKS is also a superior program in Tenggilis Mejoyo I Elementary School, Surabaya. Therefore, researchers conducted a study with the title "The Implementation of the School Safety Patrol Program (PKS) to Explain Discipline Character and Responsibility to Students in Grade 5 at SD Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya". PKS is a program implemented at SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya. Why PKS itself was researched because to find out the implementation of PKS program in SDN Tenggilis Mejoyo I Surabaya, to know the implementation of character education programs at Tenggilis Mejoyo I SDN Surabaya, the implementation of PKS program to strengthen the discipline character of students, the implementation of PKS program to strengthen the character of the responsibility of participants students at Tenggilis Mejoyo I Elementary School, Surabaya

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the important abilities that need to be developed in learning mathematics in elementary school. However, students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low, so learning media that can encourage students to actively analyze and solve problems is needed. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the Smart Box media in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in class IV-A at SDN Sedati Agung Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 32 fourth-grade students in class IV-A at SDN Sedati Agung. The data collection was carried out through pretests and posttests designed based on Ennis’s critical thinking indicators. Data analysis was done using the N-Gain Score to find out the improvement in students’ critical thinking skills after using the Smart Box media. The results showed that the students’ average pretest score was 48 and increased to 75.9 on the posttest. The N-Gain analysis scored 0.54 or 54.31%, which falls into the moderate category. These results indicate that the Smart Box media is quite effective in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students on the topic of whole numbers up to 10,000. Thus, the Smart Box media can be used as an alternative learning tool to enhance students’ critical thinking skills in math lessons at elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by sixth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 150 Gresik in solving mathematical word problems based on George Polya's problem-solving framework. This research dynamic employs a qualitative descriptive approach involving 19 students, with 6 key informants selected across high, medium, and low ability levels. Data collection techniques included diagnostic tests on algebraic word problems and in-depth interviews. The results revealed that students' difficulties in solving mathematical word problems stem from both cognitive and non-cognitive factors. Cognitively, students with low ability experienced comprehension, transformation, and process skill errors due to weak foundational numeracy, such as incorrect borrowing execution in subtraction and dependency on manual repetitive addition instead of vertical multiplication algorithms. Non-cognitively, time anxiety caused high-ability students to bypass formal documentation of "known" and "asked" components. Medium-ability students demonstrated good computational skills but were prone to careless errors due to rushed completion. Meanwhile, low-ability students exhibited a total lack of self-monitoring and a severe procedural dependency, copying peers' work without understanding the underlying mathematical logic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengidentifikasi etnomatematika dalam permainan kuartet Using, serta menerapkan kurikulum trivium berbasis permainan tersebut dalam pembelajaran materi statistika di Sekolah Dasar kelas 3. Eksplorasi dan identifikasi etnomatematika dilakukan dalam kerangka penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Data menunjukkan permainan kuartet Using memuat konsep membilang, himpunan, perbandingan, relasi, fungsi, persegipanjang, sudut siku-siku, hubungan antar garis, kekongruenan, peluang, dan statistika. Selain itu terdapat aktivitas berhitung, bermain, dan menjelaskan dalam permainan kuartet Using. Kurikulum Trivium diterapkan dalam pembelajaran pada Sekolah Dasar kelas 3 dengan responden sebanyak 19 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes tertulis, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan menentukan persentase ketercapaian konsep. Implementasi dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian konsep literacy dan technoracy hanya 78,95%, sedangkan konsep matheracy mencapai 94,74%. Artinya implementasi kurikulum trivium dalam pembelajaran belum optimal. Hal ini terjadi karena masih ada siswa yang belum bisa membaca dan menulis dengan baik.This study aims to explore and identify ethnomathematics in the Using quartet game, as well as apply the game-based trivium curriculum in learning statistics material in grade 3 elementary schools. The exploration and identification of ethnomathematics was carried out within a qualitative research framework. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was done qualitatively. The data shows that the Using quartet game contains the concepts of counting, sets, comparisons, relationships, functions, rectangles, right angles, relationships between lines, congruence, opportunities, and statistics. In addition, there are counting, playing, and explaining activities in the Using quartet game. Trivium curriculum was applied in learning at grade 3 elementary school with 19 students as respondents. Data collection was done by observation and written test, while data analysis was done qualitatively by determining the percentage of concept achievement. Implementation in learning shows that the achievement of literacy and technoracy concepts is only 78.95%, while the concept of matheracy reaches 94.74%. This means that the implementation of the trivium curriculum in learning is not optimal. This happens because there are still students who cannot read and write well.
