Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan aplikasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi guna memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas guru serta untuk memudahkan para siswa dalam memahami pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan praktek pada perserta sasaran. Hasil evaluasi terhadap guru yang diberikan adalah menyusun media pembelajaran yang interaktif serta mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang diterima mereka pada saat pelatihan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil evaluasi dalam proses pelatihan diketahui bahwa aktivitas peserta diperoleh persentase 77,33 %, dimana peserta sudah cukup mampu dalam memilih slide, membuat background, memformat teks, membuat gambar, memberikan efek bentuk pada teks, animasi teks dan gambar serta menambahkan efek suara. Sedangkan hasil tes praktik rata-rata sebesar 75, dan dari 15 peserta mengalami peningkatan lebih baik pada pertemuan pertama dan sudah mencapai ketuntasan secara maksimal. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

Aplikasi perkantoran adalah program perangkat lunak yang dibuat khusus untuk digunakan di tempat kerja. Adapun tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 November 2020, bertempat di kantor kelurahan Sigambal, Kecamatan Rantau Selatan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, Sumatera Urata. Kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat direspon positif oleh masyarakat dan membawa perubahan yang baik terhadap warga Kelurahan Sigambal. Hasil post-test terdapat kenaikan yang positif sebanyak 22 orang atau 88% dari 25 orang peserta telah dapat menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran. Adapun kekurangan yang diperoleh dalam pelatihan dan pembelajaran itu disebabkan faktor-faktor lain misalnya tidak ketersediaan perangkat pendukung yang cukup seperti Komputer atau laptop. Disarankan kegiatan seperti ini agar dilakukan secara berkala. Agar kemampuan peserta terus perkembang.

Setiap tempat di muka bumi memiliki Sifat Fisika Tanah yang berbeda-beda. Pada Tanaman Kacang Panjang Di Lahan Pertanian Desa Gunung Selamat, memiliki Bulk Density atau volume tanah pada lahan pertanian sebesar: 1,36 g/cm3 dan kadar air berkisar 99%. Jadi tanah di lahan pertanian Desa Gunung Selamat merupakan tanah pasir. Memiliki Porositas sebesar: 49%. Baik Digunakan untuk lahan bercocok tanam dan mengandung Bahan Organik sekitar 40% Baik

The role of parents in accompanying children's success while studying at home is very central, in relation to this released various guidelines for parents in accompanying their children during this pandemic which includes parenting tips to be more positive and constructive in accompanying them. Parents initially played a role in guiding basic attitudes and skills, such as religious education to obey the rules, and for good habituation, but their role became expanded, namely as a companion to academic education. The aim of this research are to explain the actual role of parents in children's learning during this pandemic and to find out what children will do if there is no role of parents in children's learning during this pandemic. This research uses purposive sampling method. In this technique the researcher determines the sumpling taking according to the research objectives, so that it is expected to answer the researcher's problems. By using a qualitative approach, the data analysis technique was carried out in a descriptive qualitative manner using the Miles Damn Huberman model. The results showed that the role of parents in learning biology during the epidemic was based on educators (80%); Supervisor (75%); counselors (70%) (4) opinion on online learning (75%; the number of cities that were broadcast during the pandemic (85%).

The use of grass fields around the school is one way of learning that is carried out outside the classroom and requires students to be able to reason and understand the material so that high student concentration is needed. The research objective was to determine the use of grass fields as a learning resource on the material for ecosystem components. This study used a descriptive method using a qualitative approach, the data analysis technique was carried out in a descriptive qualitative manner using the Miles damn Huberman model. The results showed that the utilization of grass fields as a learning resource on the material for ecosystem components in Senior High School 1 Silangkitang based on (1) Biology is fun ( 67.70%); (2) facilities and infrastructure (83.80%); (3) Net Field 61.20%; (4) Utilized Field (74.10%); (5) Following (38.70%); (6) Interested (83.80%); (7) Ecosystem Material (41.90%); (8) Learning Outcomes (58%); (9) Finding Facts (41%); (10) Presenting Data (35.40%).

This study is titled Analysis of Smartphone Use against Adolescent Social Interactions During COVID-19. This research is motivated by the increasingly popular use of smartphones among generation Z that can influence social interactions especially the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus that urged students to study at home or online by using smartphones and keeping activities out of the house in order to avoid the Covid-19 virus and break the chain of the virus that causes constrained social interaction activities outside the home, especially the students of grade XII science 1 and XII science 2 at Senior High School 2 Rantau Selatan (State Senior High School 2, South Rantau) (State Senior High School 2, South Rantau) using qualitative-descriptive research that considered suitable for the problem of the impact of smartphone use on adolescent social interactions during the Covid-19 period where the main data sources in this study are students. The tools used to collect data are questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample data from this study were students of grade XII science 1 & XII science 2 with a total of 64 people. The results of the interview research and supported by the questionnaire showed that the use of smartphones in students in grade XII science 1 and XII science 2 Senior High School 2 Rantau Selatan (State Senior High School 2, South Rantau) (State Senior High School 2, South Rantau) was at 51.02%, then about 33.84% intensity of social media to eliminate saturation only activities in the house alone that resulted in a lack of intensity or association of teenagers with people around the next student doing activities gathered with friends categorized as small enough only 5.08% is also caused by the government's rules to stay at home and 10.06% of students feel the effects of smartphones. The conclusion of this study shows that there are positive and negative impacts of smartphones on adolescent social interactions during Covid-19

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of internet media on students' learning interests in State Senior High School 2 South Rantau during Covid-19. Internet media has a very important role to foster students' learning interest during COVID-19. This research is qualitative descriptive research where the data source of this research is students. The tools used in collecting data are questionnaires and documentation. The sampling techniques used in this research are purposive. Samples from this study were students of grade XII Science-1 and XII Science-2, each class of 32 students. The results of the poll for learning interests showed that the utilization of internet media is in a high category of 52.3%. Interest in utilizing internet media to learn is in a very less supportive category of 32.5%. Students' desire to learn was in the less good category of 8.7%. Student involvement in learning is in a very supportive category of 6.5%. The results of this study show that there is a positive and negative impact of internet media on students' learning interests

Numerous obstacles might arise throughout the process of science education. The obstacles in the science education process include a lack of concentration on the part of the students, a lack of understanding of the material, and the use of learning media. The aim of this study is to identify the obstacles to science education at the Private Vocational School of Al-Washliyah Silangkitang. Purposive sampling is used in this study. The researcher selects samples in accordance with the research goals, with the expectation that they address the researcher's concerns. The data analysis strategy was qualitative descriptive, utilizing the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the obstacles experienced during the science education learning process based on the highest percentage were indicators of the use of learning media by 69% and the students do not comprehend the teacher's information at 66.70%. The lowest percentage in the category of the students who are uninterested is 65.30% and students have difficulty concentrating in learning at 62.10%. In general, the results obtained from the questionnaire data show that the students' obstacles during the science education process have been on average 65.78%. Teachers and students stated that the difficulty in understanding science material was due to the lack of textbooks or handbooks. As a result, it requires an engaging learning environment and the availability of science textbooks

Proses belajar tidak lepas dari bertanya, maka dari itu keterampilan bertanya perlu dimiliki guru maupun siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterampilan bertanya dan mendeskripsikan hambatan bertanya siswa. Peneliti ini merupakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VI UPTD. SDN 03 Pangarungan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas (kelas a, b, dan c). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan bertanya siswa masih rendah. Dari 33 siswa yang dijadikan subjek penelitian, yaitu 8 dari 33 siswa terkadang mau melontarkan pertanyaan jika dirasa perlu sedangkan 25 siswa lainnya tidak pernah bertanya. Hambatan yang dialami siswa yaitu malu, takut diolok-olokkan teman sekelasnya dan tidak berani kepada guru. Penguatan yang diberikan guru juga belum maksimal, guru kelas VI pun cenderung hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Selain itu rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap materi pelajaran masih rendah yaitu sebanyak 15 siswa memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang besar terhadap materi yang diajarkan sedangkan 18 siswa lainnya tidak memiliki rasa ingin tahu terhadap materi yang diajarkan gurunya. Keterampilan bertanya siswa kelas VI tergolong rendah di kelas siswa lebih banyak diam dan hanya mendengarkan saja.

Pembelajaran remedial adalah memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk memahami kembali pokok bahasan yang telah diajarkan sebelumnya, Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa mengharuskan guru untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran, salah satu caranya yaitu dengan melaksanakan program remedial teaching. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program remedial disekolah tersebut, mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung beserta penghambat pelaksanaan program remedial dan mengetahui solusi yang dilakukan guru untuk mengatasi siswa yang nilainya masih belum mencapai standart KKM yang sudah ditentukan dalam pelaksanaan program remedial mata pelajaran IPA kelas VI UPTD. SDN 03 Pengarungan Kecamatan Torgamba Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIA, VIB dan VIC. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa program remedial yang dilaksanakan disekolah tersebut sudah sesuai dengan konsep yang ditentukan karena konsep dari program remedial adalah untuk memperbaiki nilai yang belum mencapai KKM yang sudah ditentukan.Faktor pendukung yang terdapat disekolah dasar yaitu media,mood siswa dan minat belajar siswa. Terdapat faktor penghambatnya yaitu pemahaman siswa yang berbeda-beda. Ada beberapa siswa yang masih melaksanakan remedial setelah ujian tengah semester.
