Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) develop a web-based student registry information system to manage student data at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah, and (2), to conduct quality testing of the developed system using ISO 25010 standards related to functional suitability and usability. This research was conduct at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method, the waterfall model for the development process and descriptive quantitative for data analysis. The waterfall model consists of five stages, the requirements analysis stage produces a list of system functional requirements and device requirements. The system design stage produces architecture design, database design, and user interface design. The implementation and unit testing stage yield system development using the CodeIgniter framework, with each unit being tested. The integration stage produces a system ready for use, and the system testing stage using the ISO 25010 standards, focusing on functional suitability aspect evaluated by 2 expert and usability aspect evaluated by 15 respondents. The operation and maintenance stage involves delivering the system to SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. This research resulted in a web-based student registry information system used for managing student data at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Lendah. The functional suitability testing yielded a 100% score, indicating it is highly suitable. Usability testing resulted in a score of 71,5, which places the system in the “Good” category, suggesting that users may need some learning to utilize it effectively.

Abstract

This research is designed to: (1) Develop Figma Jobsheet Learning Media in accordance with the curriculum for the tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Banguntapan as an alternative vector-based drawing software for the subject of ICT in Graphic Design material; (2) Determine the percentage level of feasibility of Figma jobsheet as a learning tool for the application of alternative graphic design software. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five main stages: (1) Analyze; (2) Design; (3) Develop; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluate. The type of data used is quantitative. This research was conducted using questionnaire instruments to obtain the necessary data. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The subjects of this study were the tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Banguntapan. The results of the research show that (1) the development of the jobsheet is in accordance with the ADDIE model; and (2) based on the assessment results of material experts, covering aspects of content, instructional design, and benefits, it reached an average score of 89.08% (highly feasible), media experts reached an average score of 78.81% (feasible), and student responses obtained an average percentage of 90.24% (highly feasible), thus it can be concluded that the Figma jobsheet for SMAN 1 Banguntapan is feasible to use.

Abstract

Pengembangan LMS berupa platform yang dapat dipergunakan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara blended learning (offline ataupun online). LMS yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari mitra industri (PT. SGMW Sales Indonesia) untuk mengembangkan Regional Training Center di Indonesia. LMS yang dikembangkan bertujuan untuk menyediakan platform pembelajaran yang dapat dipergunakan oleh PT. SGMW Sales Indonesia untuk melakukan kegiatan training bagi para karyawan yang meliputi teknisi, custome care officer, dan juga service advisor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Merancang kartu nama RFID yang bisa menggantikan kartu nama konvensional; (2) Memaparkan validasi kartu nama RFID berdasarkan pendapat para ahli; (3) Menguji keefektifitasan kartu nama RFID bagi para pengguna. Penelitian ini adalah RnD yang menggunakan model MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) dengan enam tahapan dari konsep hingga distribusi untuk merancang prototipe kartu nama RFID bernama "Tapster". Pengumpulan validitas dilakukan oleh validator ahli, yaitu dosen Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika dan Informatika UNY dan dosen Fakultas Bahasa, Seni, dan Budaya UNY. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 30 pebisnis muda, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa: (1) Kartu nama berbasis RFID (Tapster) berhasil dirancang sebagai pengganti kartu nama konvensional menggunakan model pengembangan MDLC versi Luther yang dikembangkan oleh Sutopo; (2) Perancangan kartu nama berbasis RFID bagi pebisnis muda mendapatkan hasil sangat layak oleh para ahli dengan mendapatkan hasil rata-rata penilaian oleh kedua ahli sebesar 93,075%; (3) Perancangan kartu nama berbasis RFID (Tapster) memperoleh hasil sangat memuaskan pada kelima aspek penilaian oleh para responden, yakni para pebisnis muda. Hasil penilaian mencakup: desain kartu (84,5%), desain profil isi (87,2%), fungsionalitas (87%), usabilitas (88,3%), dan interaktif (90%). Kartu ini dapat digunakan oleh para pebisnis muda untuk meningkatkan branding perusahaan mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi perangkat lunak multimedia pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, desain dan pengembangan. Tahap perencanaan meliputi penentuan ruang lingkup, identifikasi karakteristik siswa dan pengumpulan bahan ajar. Tahap desain meliputi analisis konsep materi, pembuatan flowcharts dan storyboards. Tahap akhir yakni proses pengembangan meliputi penyiapan komponen multimedia, pembuatan program, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi terdiri atas uji alpha oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, uji beta oleh siswa dan uji sumatif melalui pretes dan postes. Multimedia pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan ini terdiri atas materi bahasa Inggris dengan topic personality traits, people dan compliments. Menurut ahli materi, media ini termasuk sangat baik dalam aspek pembelajaran dan baik dalam aspek materi. Sedangkan menurut ahli media, media ini termasuk sangat baik. Siswa yang belajar menggunakan media ini mencapai tingkat ketuntasan 70%, sedangkan yang belajar menggunakan media cetak mencapai ketuntasan 50%. THE DEVELOPMENT OF MULTIMEDIA LEARNING FOR ENGLISH SUBJECT FOR VOCATIONAL SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to develop and evaluate software of multimedia learning for English subject for vocational students. The development steps are: plan, design and development. The plan includes determining the scope, identifying student, and gathering resources. The design includes analyzing, making flowcharts and storyboards. The development includes creating multimedia components, programming, and evaluating. The evaluation includes alpha testing, beta testing, and summative evaluation. The developed software of multimedia learning for English subjects contains topics of personality traits, people and compliments. According to a subject expert, this software is very good in aspect of learning and good in aspect of material. According to a media expert, the software quality is very good. Students who used this software reached 70% mastery learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pemrograman sistem kendali PLC antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan siswa yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi, (2) pengaruh interaksi antara metode PBL dan metode demonstrasi dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (3) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi ditinjau dari motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial yang dilakukan dengan memberikan perlakuan metode pembelajaran. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t dan ANAVA dengan program SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode PBL dan demonstrasi dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode PBL dengan yang diajar dengan metode demonstrasi ditinjau dari motivasi tinggi dan rendah. THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING ON THE LEARNING OUTCOMES SEEN FROM MOTIVATION ON THE SUBJECT MATTER OF PLC IN SMKAbstractThis study aimed to determine: (1) the difference in learning outcomes in the subject of PLC control system programming between the students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration method, (2) the effect of the interaction among the PBL method and demonstration learning method with motivation on the learning outcomes, (3) difference in students' learning outcomes between the students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration learning method in terms of motivation to learn. This study was a quasiexperimental study with a factorial design done by giving treatment in learning methods. The techniques of data analysis were T test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) with SPSS 16. The results show that: (1) there is a difference in learning outcomes between the students taught using the PBL method compared to those taught using the demonstration learning method, (2) there is no interactional effect between PBL and demonstration learning methods with motivation on the students' learning outcome, (3) there is a difference in the learning outcome between students taught using the PBL method and those taught using the demonstration learning method in terms of students with high and low motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengembangkan produk portal e-learning menggunakan LMS Moodle dengan vicon, (2) mengetahui kelayakan portal e-learning, (3) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, dan (4) mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan dan desain multimedia yang dikembangkan oleh Alessi & Trollip. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X kompetensi keahlian Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Uji coba produk pengembangan meliputi tes alfa, tes beta, dan implementasi uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan: (1) produk portal e-learning yang dikembangkan menggunakan LMS Moodle terintegrasi dengan BigBlueButton, sehingga memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan video conference; (2) kelayakan portal e-learning menggunakan LMS Moodle dengan vicon di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, validasi alfa dikategorikan baik, uji beta dikategorikan baik, validasi ahli materi dikategorikan baik; (3) hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sama; (4) motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menggunakan portal e-learning, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen sama. DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING E-LEARNING USING MOODLE AND VICON FOR THE WEB PROGRAMMING SUBJECT AT SMKAbstractThe aims of this research were to: (1) develop e-learning portal using LMS moodle and vicon, (2) know the feasibility of the e-learning portal using LMS Moodle and vicon, (3) know the learning outcomes of students in learning using e -learning, and (4) know the motivation of learners in learning using e -learning. This research was development research that was adapted from Alessi & Trollip Development and Multimedia Design Model. The subjects of this research were students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro, with competency skills Soft Engineering. The sampling technique was random sampling. The developed product try-out included three stages, the alpha test, beta test, and implementation of field tests. The result of this research showed that: (1) e–learning product that was developed using Moodle integrated with BigBlueButton, allowed users to do video conferencing, (2) the feasibility of e-learning using moodle and the video conference at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro: for the mean score of validation was categorized good; the mean score of beta test was categorized good; and according to the expert the materia was categorised good. (3) The results of learners in learning using e -learning moodle, showed no difference betwen the conrtol class and the experimental class.. (4) The motivation of learners in learning using e-learning in the control class and that in experimental class were equal.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find the determinants of e-learning implementation by teachers of vocational school in the Yogyakarta Special Region. The research objective was achieved by describing the essential influence of social environment and facilitating conditions toward the technology acceptance model of e-learning. The study was a correlational research one with an ex-post facto approach. The number of research sample was 132 teachers and the research sample was determined by the Krejcie & Morgan formula. The research sample was distributed by means of proportional random sampling technique. The primary data source was the teachers' self report which had been collected by using a questionnaire. The observation and the open-ended interviews were conducted in order to support the primary data. The content validity was assessed by means of expert judgment and the construct validity was calculated by means of Pearson correlation. The reliability was determined by means  of Cronbach's Alpha minimum value namely 0.70. The data analysis was performed by  using path analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The study concluded that the effect of social environment and facilitating conditions to the e-learning usage had been mediated by three main variables of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use.Keywords: E-learning, technology acceptance model, social environment, facilitating conditions. DETERMINAN PENGGUNAAN E-LEARNING OLEH GURU SMK DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTAAbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan penggunaan e-learning oleh guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan ini dicapai dengan cara menjelaskan hakikat pengaruh lingkungan sosial sekolah dan kondisi fasilitas teknologi terhadap model penerimaan teknologi e-learning. Studi ini merupakan penelitian korelasional bersifat ex-post facto. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 132 guru ditentukan menggunakan formula Krejcie & Morgan didistribusikan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sumber data primer adalah laporan diri guru, dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Observasi dan wawancara terbuka dilakukan sebagai pendukung data primer. Validasi isi dilakukan dengan expert judgment  dan validasi konstruk dilakukan dengan korelasi Pearson. Reliabilitas ditentukan dengan dengan nilai Cronbach's Alpha minimal 0,70. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis jalur pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil studi menunjukkan pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan kondisi yang memfasilitasi terhadap penggunaan e-learning dimediasi oleh tiga variabel utama model penerimaan teknologi, yaitu kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan intensi.Kata kunci: e-learning, model penerimaan teknologi, lingkungan sosial, kondisi yang memfasilitas

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of e-module of electronic records management integrated with experiential learning strategies to improve student achievement in the domain of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. This study is a research and development. Model research and development used is Web-Based Instructional Design (WBID) developed by Davidson-Shivers and Rasmussen. The steps of research and development carried out by analysis, evaluation planning, concurrent design, implementation, and a summative evaluation. The approach used in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative approaches. Collecting data used the Delphi technique, observation, documentation studies and tests. Research data analysis used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Testing the effectiveness of the product used a quasi-experimental research design pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. The results showed that the e-module of electronic records management integrated with experiential learning strategies can improve student achievement in the domain of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective.

Abstract

This research is aimed at: (1) producing an appropriate e-learning for English language studies in vocational high school, (2) evaluating the suitability of the developed e-learning in terms of appropriateness, accuracy and clarity, screen presentation and design, and appropriateness of the team builder module aspect, and (3) evaluating the effectiveness of the e-learning in practical application. This research and development (R&D) study used Alessi and Trollip's model rearranged following ADDIE model, where the development of instruction followed Dick and Carey's model and the need assessment procedures were adapted from Lee & Owens. Overall appropriateness and quality of the e-learning from alpha testing is "˜very appropriate' and from beta testing is "˜excellent'. Alpha testing reveals that, the Team Builder Module is "˜very appropriate' and beta testing reveals that, its overall quality is "˜excellent'. The e-learning is highly effective. The average score of the students raises 3.82 points (or 42.44%) in the post-test from pre-test score. The minimum score of the post-test (i.e. 8) is more than the maximum score of the pre-test (i.e. 7), so it is concluded that the use of e-learning does not deteriorate the performance of the students, but improves their performance.
