Abstract

Pembangunan proyek Kereta Api Trans-Sulawesi ruas Makassar - Pare-Pare bertujuan untuk menghubungkan Pulau Sulawesi dan mempengaruhi perekonomian daerah. Proyek ini meliputi jalur sepanjang 145 km dari Makassar ke Pare-Pare, sebagai tahap awal dari jalur kereta api Trans Sulawesi. Untuk mengurangi risiko, peneliti merancang strategi mitigasi risiko dan sistem peringatan dini menggunakan metode ISO 31000:2018. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan 30 risiko yang dibagi ke dalam berbagai kategori, dengan variabel mitigasi yang mengubah risiko avoidance menjadi reduction atau retention. Respon risiko menunjukkan tindakan stakeholders dalam mengatasi risiko dan meminimalisir kerugian, dengan pelaksanaan monitoring dan review sebesar 95% dari keberhasilan. Meskipun penerapan manajemen risiko hampir sempurna, permasalahan internal mencegah mencapai 100% sesuai standar ISO 31000:2018. Studi ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengelola proyek kereta api untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen risiko dan keberhasilan proyek secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of Lean Manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in enhancing productivity within micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the garment sector in Makassar. By focusing on identifying and reducing waste, this study analyzes cycle times and activity mapping to uncover bottlenecks that hinder operational efficiency. The analysis results indicate that the implementation of Lean principles can lead to significant improvements in production processes, including reductions in cycle time and waiting time. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of eliminating non-value-added activities and integrating advanced technologies, such as automation and real-time tracking systems, to further enhance efficiency. These findings not only provide valuable insights for industry practitioners but also offer practical guidance for optimizing production processes. By adopting Lean strategies, garment MSMEs in Makassar can improve their competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market while contributing to regional economic development. This study is expected to serve as a reference for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in efforts to create a more efficient and sustainable garment industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

PT. IKI is a shipbuilding company owned by the Indonesian government which carries out several industrial activities such as ship building, repair and docking. The results of initial observations found that there were still workers in the production division who experienced work accidents and occupational diseases. In this research, it is very important to analyze the factors that influence the behavior of production division workers to find out what suggestions for improvements are appropriate in overcoming problems with production division workers. This research employs the SEM-PLS method to investigate the impact of knowledge factors (X1), attitudes (X2), and the availability of facilities (X3) on the occupational safety and health of production division workers. It aims to provide valuable insights for enhancing workplace safety by identifying factors that positively influence these outcomes. The findings of this study reveal a significant correlation between the availability of facilities (X3) and occupational safety and health, as evidenced by a p-value of 0.000, which is less than the predetermined significance level of 0.05. Based on these results, recommendations for improvement can be proposed. The company is advised to uphold and enhance the implementation of Standard Operational Procedures about Occupational Safety and Health (K3) while also ensuring the continuous provision of comprehensive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all employees

Abstract

Desa Paccellekang tereltak di Kecamatan Patallasang, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, Desa Paccellekang mendirikan unit Bada Usaha Milik Desa dengan nama BUMDes Bumi Paccellekang Sejahterah dan membuka usaha pembudidayaan lobster air tawar dalam program destinasi desa wisata terpadu. Berdaarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa lobster air tawar sering melakukan pergantian cangkang (molting), terkait potensi tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat pun berupaya menginovasikan hasil cangkang molting lobster air tawar menjadi bahan penyedap alami. Pada pengabdian masyarakt yang dilakukan dilihat dari hasil kuesioner, baru kali ini semua responden mendapatkan pelatihan mengenai pemanfaatan cangkang molting lobster air tawar menjadi penyedap rasa alami, dan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan semua responden telah mampu mengolah, mampu menjelaskan langkah-langkah prosedur dan mampu mengenal bahan-bahan yang digunakan da;am pembuatan produk penyedap rasa alami dari cangkang molting lobster air tawar. Dan terlihat bahwa pemahaman masyarakat desa Paccellekang terhadap pemanfaatan cangkang molting lobter air tawar sebagai bahan penyedap rasa alami semakin meningkat, dan peserta antusias mengikuti pelatihan sejak awal

Abstract

PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. is a company engaged in the mining industry, particularly in nickel processing (Ni). The company operates a power plant at Balambano Hydroelectric Power Plant (2x68.5 MW). The company's usual maintenance practice is limited to corrective maintenance, which involves replacing or repairing components only when they are damaged. The aim of this research is to determine the optimal replacement time for preventive maintenance on turbine machines in order to minimize downtime. The age replacement method is used to calculate the replacement interval for components based on their usage life. The research findings show that the mean time to failure (MTTF) of the wicket gate is 2217.824 hours or 92.41 days, which means that the component may experience failure again after operating for that MTTF duration. Therefore, the recommendation is to replace the component every 85 days of operation and perform inspections every 15 days.

Abstract

The zinc industry faces significant challenges in improving supply chain performance due to complex production, distribution, and quality control systems, as well as uneven digitalization that limits real-time monitoring and decision-making. This study develops a digitalization-based supply chain performance evaluation model using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) to determine priority weights of key performance indicators (KPIs). Data were collected from 15 industry experts with 15–20 years of experience. The analysis shows that Reliability (0.32) and Cost Efficiency (0.26) are the most influential dimensions, followed by Responsiveness (0.19), Flexibility (0.13), and Asset Management (0.10). The highest-priority KPIs are On-Time Delivery (0.0518) and Order Fulfillment Rate (0.0506), while Capacity Utilization Ratio (0.0033) has the lowest weight. Integrating digital systems such as ERP, IoT, and MES enhances real-time visibility, data accuracy, and responsiveness—reducing production delays by 18%, improving logistics cost efficiency by 12%, and increasing delivery reliability by 20%. The ANP-based model thus provides an objective, data-driven foundation for continuous performance improvement and strategic decision-making.

Abstract

UMKM Dapoer Sani sebagai produsen roti canai menghadapi permasalahan utama berupa ketidakkonsistenan kualitas produk dan tingginya biaya produksi. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh belum optimalnya penerapan manajemen mutu, ketidakteraturan dalam standar operasional, serta kurangnya efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu dan efisiensi biaya produksi melalui pelatihan manajemen mutu dan pengendalian biaya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyusunan dan penerapan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) produksi, pelatihan teknik pengendalian mutu berbasis kontrol kualitas, pencatatan dan analisis biaya produksi, serta perancangan ulang tata letak dapur untuk memperbaiki alur kerja. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data kinerja produksi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan konsistensi kualitas produk, efisiensi penggunaan bahan baku, dan penurunan biaya operasional hingga 85%. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing UMKM Dapoer Sani, sekaligus menjadi model pengembangan kapasitas bagi UMKM sejenis di wilayah sekitar.

Abstract

This study presents an evaluation of supply chain reliability strategies in the garment industry by utilizing the SCOR 14.0 Racetrack Framework. The research was conducted at Raja Konveksi Kaos Makassar, a garment manufacturing company that has encountered recurring issues related to delayed deliveries, inaccurate order documentation, and poor product conditions upon customer receipt. To identify the underlying causes, a Fishbone Diagram was employed for structured root cause analysis. Based on the insights gained, a portfolio of ten improvement projects was formulated, adopting best practices outlined by the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). These projects were classified according to SCOR process categories and then prioritized using a Prioritization Matrix to ensure alignment with organizational goals and resource allocation. Each prioritized project was executed using a Project Charter approach, supported by a Gantt Chart to track implementation timelines and manage activities efficiently. The evaluation phase indicated significant improvements in key SCOR reliability metrics: RL.3.3 improved by 9.23%, RL.3.5 by 2.07%, and RL.3.10 by 3.54%. These results demonstrate that the implemented strategies effectively enhanced supply chain reliability, operational performance, and service quality. Overall, this study affirms the value of the SCOR 14.0 Racetrack Framework as a practical and data-driven tool for evaluating and improving supply chain reliability in the garment industry, offering relevant insights for both academics and practitioners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel antecedents (Cost, Quality, Time, dan Productivity) terhadap kinerja gudang (Warehouse Performance) dengan menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Metode estimasi yang digunakan adalah Maximum Likelihood (ML), yang sesuai untuk data dengan distribusi tidak normal. Uji kecocokan model dilakukan menggunakan beberapa kriteria goodness of fit, seperti Chi Square, GFI, AGFI, dan RMSEA. Hasil menunjukkan nilai Chi Square sebesar 92,897 dengan nilai probabilitas p = 0,058, yang mengindikasikan bahwa model dinyatakan fit. Namun, pengujian normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal secara multivariat, sehingga dilakukan evaluasi outlier dan jumlah sampel berkurang dari 269 menjadi 196. Hasil analisis akhir menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua variabel antecedents memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel konsequents, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) kurang dari 0,5. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam menjelaskan kinerja gudang secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk pengembangan model yang lebih komprehensif pada penelitian selanjutnya, guna meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen gudang di masa depan.
