Abstract : Research was conducted to determine the Local Wisdom Base Village Society Indarung resources management in a river in the village of Pangkalan Indarung, Kuantan District Subdistrict Singingi Singingi in April until the month of May 2016. The research used to design a modular unit at study Biology with the concept of Biodiversity Conservation in SMA, in two stages namely stage of research and design stage module unit. Collecting data using in-depth interviews with snowball sampling technique with key informants that indigenous leaders (Datuk Pudako Kayo) and village heads Indarung Base. Also used methods of observation and documentation techniques. The results showed there were some local knowledge possessed by the people of the village of Pangkalan Indarung resources management in river, among others, 1) The planning stage, the village of Pangkalan Indarung have wisdom in the use of fishing gear as well as the timing of harvesting. 2) The use, in this context, the villagers Pangakalan Indarung utilize the resources of the river in the form of fish wisely. 3) Control, in this case the Base Village community Indarung use the event starting reinforcements to preserve the resources of the river. 4) Maintenance, to perform certain tree planting activities on the river bank to prevent abrasion on the edge of the river. 5) Supervision, formed a community group watchdog organizations and traditional institutions in the supervision Tuah Sukato depths of the ban. 6) The law enforcement with sanctions for any violators of customs rules, sanctions in the form of community sanctions. The results of this study can be used as an ingredient in designing learning modules on the concept of Biological Biodiversity Conservation.

Oil palm plantations at peatland are faced with problems of land degraded, low productivity and produced to green house gas (GRG) emission.The objectives of this study were to land clearing effect of peatlands and to identified factors that affect the peatlands in the biophysicalcharacteristics. This study was conducted on District Bengkalis-Riau at marine and brakish peat. The data was collected using field survey anddocumentation. The descriptive analysis was used to determine biophysical characteristics and linier regresion was used to corelation performimportant factors. The research results showed that the biophysical characteristics of peatland experienced changes in the horizon profile,peat thickness, decomposition level, moisture content, ash content, pH, C-organic and biomass. The secondary peat swamp forest ofbiophysical characteristics have to different in the horizon profile, peat thickness, decomposition level, moisture content, ash content, pH,C-organic and biomass compared with marine and brackish peat.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to development of worksheets topic energy in live for junior high school grade seven with scientific approach to improve science process skills. This study held on June until December 2014. This study conducted with assessment worksheet paper, respondent paper, and observation scientific process skills paper. The assessment worksheet paper consist of 27 items and is 4 aspects. The aspect are content expert, linguist, presentation expert, and to encourage students to learn and work scientifically. This study was conducted using method of Research and Development of model ADDIE. The result showed of the experts’ assessment who developed products of content experts was very valid (M=3.53), linguist was very valid (M=3.48), presentation experts was very valid (M=3.51), and work scientifically was very valid (M=3.41). In addition for the scientific process skills students have achieved good category. That result indicated the product that has been developed worthy used in science teaching in schools and can improved science process skills.Key words: Scientific Approach; Science Process Skills; Development of Worksheet

Abstract: This study aims to determine the amount of litter production in the traditional Forest District of Jake Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency and produce a learning handout design on ecosystem material in class X high school. The research took place in April-May 2019. The study consisted of two stages, namely the analysis stage of average forest litter production and the handout design stage. The stage of field data collection was carried out with descriptive research, data collection by survey methods, determination of sampling points by purposive random sampling. The parameters in this research are the composition of Jake Indigenous Forest Littering Forest and the supporting parameters in the form of environmental factors that affect litter production. The results of the study were obtained by calculating the production of Jake Indigenous Forest Prohibition Litter to meet the needs of organic materials needed in the forest ecosystem. Abstract: This research aims to develop the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based onscience literacy for seniorhigh school gradeX of the topic of biodiversityin April-December 2019. The research was conducted in twoplaces, namely to Strudent Worksheetvalidation was conducted at the FKIP UNRI Biology Education Campus and Student Worksheetlimited trials were conducted at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research refers to the R&D research approach using the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The subject of this research is the subject matter of Biology inseniorhigh school gradeX KD 3.2. The developed LKPD consisted of3meetings with a time allocation of 1 meetingfor 45 minutes. The parameters of this study include the results of the validation of the development of student worksheetby the validatorand respon assesment by student. The assessment is doing withvalidation sheet and a questionnaire. Data analysis is descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that student worksheetthat have been developed are in the very valid category with an average score of all aspects of 3.53. The value of the answers to all aspects the valueof the results of a limited trial phase I and stage II in all aspects obtained an average score of 3.39 with a very good category. Based on the results of the validation, the results of the first trial, the results of the second trial and the revisions that have been made,student worksheet is good and feasible to be used as a reference at school learning to increase students knowledge and understanding for the topic of biodiversity.KeyWords: Student Worksheets, Science Literacy, Biodiversity

Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine community structure of pollinator insects in fruit garden Agribusiness Agriculture Faculty University of Riau in March to April 2015, for development of Student Worksheet (LKS) interactions the ecosystem concept. The research was conducted with 2 phases of field research and the development of learning worksheets. Determining the location of the observation by purposive sampling to establish the location of the observation at 5 fruit garden Agribusiness Agriculture Faculty University of Riau. Biological parameters observed that the abundance of species, dominance index and preferences visits, while the environmental physical parameters include temperature, humidity and light intensity. The results showed the highest relative abundance is Apis cerana, insect pollinators dominance index was low (0,189 to 0,363) and the highest preference insect pollinators in the afternoon (15:00 to 17:00). Abstract: The research was conducted to find out the concentration of heavy metal Lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) at water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) in Indragiri River Watershed Indragiri Hilir Regency as the biology module design of environmental pollution concept in Senior High School (SMA) conducted in May-July 2016. The research station is conducted by purposive random sampling taking into account the environmental conditions based on community activity around the river and the existence of Eichhornia crassipes. The main parameters in this study include concentrations of heavy metals Pb and Cd in river water, sediment and Eichhornia crassipes, and physical-chemical parameters as supporting parameters. The results showed that the average concentration of Pb heavy metals in river water was 0.276 ppm and Cd 0.126 ppm. The average concentration of Pb heavy metals in sediments was 4.61 ppm and Cd 0.75 ppm. The accumulation of heavy metals Pb and Cd Eichhornia crassipes are included in the low category, ie the average concentration of Pb heavy metals in root organs 3.02 ppm, on leaf organ 2.61 ppm, and in leaf organ 2.09 ppm. While the concentration of heavy metal Cd on root organs 0.47 ppm, on the leaf organ 0.39 ppm, and the leaf organ 0.362 ppm. Then, research results of heavy metal concentrations of Pb and Cd in river water, sediment, and Eichhornia crassipes that have been implemented will serve as a source in the preparation of learning modules in high school.Keywords: Biology Module, Eichhornia crassipes, Heavy Metals Pb and Cd, Water Pollution

Abstract: A research was conducted to find out the Local Wisdom of Lubuk Larangan Management in Subayang River for the development of Environmental Education Course Module conducted in Gema Village, Tanjung Belit Village and Batu Songgan Village Kampar Kiri Hulu District Kampar Province Riau Province from November 2015 to February 2016. The research is used for the development of Environmental Education course module, in two stages namely the data collection stage and the module development stage. The main parameter in this research is the management of Lubuk Larangan in Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu. The management component was developed from Law 32 Year 2009. Data collection using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, survey, interview, and literature study. Further data were collected on the Biological Factor of Lubuk Larangan. The results of the research indicate that the community has local wisdom in the management of Lubuk Larangan in Subayang River: (1) Planning, the community has the knowledge to select the lubuk along the Subayang River that will be used as Lubuk Larangan area; (2) Utilization, fish harvesting is allocated for community youth, ninik mamak, and for mosque construction; (3) Controlling, banning and myth in the Lubuk Larangan area; (4) Maintenance, conservation efforts; (5) Supervision, the community of the implementation of the principle of mutual cooperation which of course can not be separated from existing adat institutions; (6) Law Enforcement, communities along the Subayang river implement a system of fines and beliefs in Lubuk Larangan. Abstract: This study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention STUDENTS in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau that was conducted in November 2015 to May 2016. The sample in this study were 63 students randomly selected in VIII grade in school year 2015/2016 and two science teachers as supporting data. The parameters of this study is the knowledge of the land and forest fire prevention and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention. Instrument knowledge with written tests, scientific attitude is measured by using a closed questionnaire that has been valid and reliable and interview guidelines. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics simple regression test. The results of data analysis showed that there is a low correlation between knowledge with scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention learners in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau.Keywords: Knowledge, Scientific Attitude, Land and Forest Fires

On December 9, 2015 Lampung province has carried out the Local Leaders Election simultaneously in 8 Regency / City, but the number of abstainers were still high. East Lampung Leaders Election is one of elections with the highest number of abstainers, as many as 289.351 voters or 36.42% were abstained. This number is even greater than the votes of candidates elected which was 263.926 or 33.22%. This fact is interesting to be seen in the context of non-voting behaviors that affect voters that they do not vote in the election. Conceptually non-voting behavior can be mapped into 4 groups: (1) political technical factors; (2) technical factors; (3) political factors; and (4) ideological factors. This research was conducted in Way Jepara District by interviewing 100 respondents that were chosen through multi-stage random sampling. In addition, the data of the research is also supported by the results of interviews conducted to members of the Election Commission of East Lampung. The research found that 51% of respondents enrolled in the Electoral Register were; 44% had moved before the election, 4% died and 3% seriously ill / lost consciousness. Only 49% of respondents could be encountered in this study and the results showed 12% of respondents did not choose because of political factors, 8.16% due to political technical factors and 4.08% because of ideological factors. Generally, as many 37 respondents or 75% did not vote due to technical factors, for example, one does not choose because of the conditions and situations that hamper the voters to come to the polling stations. Some of the major indicators are; (1) family requisite, (2) health, (3) do not remember or forget, and (4) working consideration.In line with the evaluation results by the Election Commission of East Lampung, steps that need to be done to improve voters participation rates in order to reduce abstained are namely: (1) improving the population administration, (2) building an actual system of administration. (3) spreading more widely and evenly voters education, (4) disseminating the election process long before the election day and strengthening institutionally the organizers of local leaders election. Pada 9 Desember 2015 di Provinsi Lampung terlaksana pemilihan kepala daerah serentak 8 Kabupaten/ Kota, namun angka golput masih tinggi. Pilkada Lampung Timur merupakan salah satu pilkada dengan angka golput tertinggi sebanyak 289.351 pemilih atau 36,42% golput, angka golput ini bahkan lebih besar dibandingkan perolehan suara calon bupati terpilih sebesar 263.926 atau 33,22%. Fakta tersebut menarik untuk dilihat dalam kontek prilaku non voting yang mempengaruhi pemilih sehingga tidak menggunakan suaranya saat pilkada. Secara konseptual prilaku non voting dapat dipetakan dalam 4 kelompok yaitu: (1) faktor teknis politis; (2) faktor teknis; (3) faktor politis; dan (4) faktor ideologis. Penelitin ini di dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Way Jepara, dengan mewawancarai sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih secara multy stage random sampling. Selain itu data penelitian didukung hasil wawancara dengan anggota KPUD Lampung Timur.Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa, sebanyak 51% responden yang terdaftar di DPT ternyata 44% sudah pindah sebelum pemilihan, 4% meninggal dunia dan 3% sakit keras/hilang kesadaran. Hanya 49% responden yang dapat ditemui dalam penelitian ini dan hasilnya menunjukkan 12% responden tidak memilih karena faktor politis, 8,16% karena faktor teknis politis dan 4,08% karena faktor ideologis. Umumnya sebanyak 37 responden atau 75% tidak ikut memilih dikarenakan faktor teknis, yaitu seseorang tidak memilih karena kondisi dan situasi yang menghambat pemilih untuk datang ke tempat pemungutan suara. Beberapa indikator utamanya; (1) Keperluan keluarga, (2) Kesehatan, (3) Tidak ingat atau lupa, dan (4) Pertimbangan pekerjaan.Sejalan dengan hasil evaluasi KPUD Lampung Timur langkah yang perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan angka partisipasi pemilih sehingga dapat mengurangi golput antara lain: (1) penyempurnaan administrasi kependudukan, dan (2) membangun sistem administrasi kependudukan yang aktual. (3) pendidikan pemilih semakin secara luas dan merata, (4) sosialisasi proses pilkada jauh-jauh hari dan penguatan kelembagaan penyelenggara pemilihan kepala daerah.
