Abstract

One issue identified in this study pertains to the limited scope of character education, which tends to be predominantly focused on Islamic Religion and Pancasila Education Courses. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program has emerged as a significant force in promoting character education throughout the educational continuum from elementary to higher education levels. Hence, applying education and character values is imperative in science education within the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) in Universitas Lampung. This research aims to describe what characteristics are implemented in the Lesson Plan (RPS) in science courses. The present study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the learning outcomes subs and learning indicators, afterward aligning them with 18-character values. The values encompassed are religiousness, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the country, respect for achievements, friendliness, love of peace, love of reading, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. Based on the research results, the 18-character values are spread across learning outcomes subs and students’ learning experience activities while attending science lectures at the PGSD Study Program FKIP UNILA. The implementation of character education has the potential to instill students who possess not only academic proficiency but also exhibit humanitarian attitudes towards their peers, as well as foster a sense of mutual respect and cooperation among themselves. Based on the RPS, the science courses used at the UNILA PGSD study program are very suitable for forming students' personality traits. As suggested by the researchers based on the findings they found, religious aspects should be added to RPS because this can be internalized in students and implemented in life.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that learning in schools is still teacher-centered, resulting in a lack of use of interactive technology-based learning media, which leads to low learning motivation among fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kebon Jeruk. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the problem based learning model assisted by Wordwall media on the learning motivation of fourth grade students in elementary school. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, and the design used is a replicated experimental design. The sample in this study consisted of all students from class IVA and IVB at SD Negeri 1 Kebon Jeruk, totaling 51 students. The data collection technique was carried out using a learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study show that the implementation of the problem based learning model assisted by Wordwall media has a significant and consistent effect on increasing the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kebon Jeruk.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem of declining morals of third-grade students at SD IT Baitul Muslim, which has implications for daily behavior, particularly in Pancasila Education learning. Students tend to exhibit attitudes that are inconsistent with positive character values, such as a lack of tolerance and a low sense of love for the homeland. The purpose of this study is to identify the significant influence of educators' roles in shaping the character of third-grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education subjects. The method used is an ex post facto method with a quantitative approach and a purposive sampling design. The study population consisted of 10 educators and 95 students, with a sample of 10 educators and 40 students from two selected classes. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation that had been tested for validity using Aiken's V and reliability with Cronbach Alpha. Hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.044 which is smaller than 0.05 and a calculated F value of 5.692 which is greater than the F table of 2.27. Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The research findings confirm the significant influence of educators, particularly as demonstrators, classroom managers, facilitators, and evaluators, in shaping students' character in Pancasila Education. The implication of these findings is that educators need to optimize role models to improve students' character development.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this research is the difference in drumband achievement outcomes between SDN X and SDN Y, indicating variations in the implementation of extracurricular management functions. The purpose of this research is to know the management activity of the drum band extracurricular at SDN X and SDN Y. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a case study research design. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation, with a total of 5 informants, including the school principal, supervisor, trainer, and students of the drumband extracurricular. Data were analyzed by data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that 1. The drumband activity planning is carried out through the formulation of a structured training program, systematic scheduling, and the clear activity objectives. However, SDN X has a more structured planning framework. 2. The organization at SDN X operates more cleary through a well-coordinated division of tasks, while at SDN Y limitations in coordination were identified. 3. The implementation of activities at SDN X is carried out more optimally and consistently, while SDN Y still faces limitations in facilities. 4. Monitoring is conducted through the observation of training sessions and the activity evaluation. 5. Supporting factors include students’ enthusiasm, the competence of the trainer, and support from the school principal. For the inhibiting factors, there are the limitation of facilities and the weather conditions.
