Abstract

Research on student science process skills in practicum-based animal physiology learning with the aim of analysing the science process skills possessed by Biology Education students of FKIP Jambi University. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of observation sheets, interviews and documentation on the implementation of practicum activities carried out by 116 Biology Education Study Programme students. The results illustrate that in the implementation of animal physiology practicum activities, the science process skills of Biology Education students class of 2022 still have a less skilled category including classification skills at 51%, prediction at 52%, interpretation at 52% and applying concepts at 54% this is due to the lack of understanding of the concept of student theory taught by lecturers so that in practicum activities less mascimal in applying new theories, while the skills of planning experiments, using tools and materials, asking questions, observation, hypothesising, and communication are skilled categories. In conclusion, based on these results, the average student's science process skills are still categorised as less skilled, there are four skills with a percentage below 63% and an average skilled category of six skills with a percentage above 69%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a project-based learning e-module in chemical learning design courses using the flipbook builder application. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method to develop project-based learning e-modules in chemical learning design courses using the flipbook builder application. The e-module media development model used in this study, namely the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects used in this study were students of the Chemistry Education Study Program at Jambi University who had taken a chemistry learning design course, namely 15 students in the small scale test and 30 students in the large scale test. Based on the feasibility test assessment of project-based learning e-modules in chemistry learning design courses that have been developed on a small scale, the score is 89.33 with very high criteria, while the large-scale feasibility test scores 91.83 with very high criteria.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran IPA yang mempelajari tentang suatu fenomena yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari seperti materi koloid. Materi koloid sebagian bersifat kontekstual berhubungan erat  dikehidupan nyata. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran  kimia yakni model pembelajaran STEM-PjBL. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan pengembangan e-LKPD berbasis STEM-PjBL pada materi koloid untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desktiptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei melalui angket kebutuhan peserta didik dan wawancara bersama guru kimia di SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif.  Dari hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa 66,7% peserta didik merasa kesulitan dalam mempelajari materi koloid. Semua peserta didik dan guru sangat setuju jika dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-LKPD berbasis STEM-PjBL sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik serta dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar penunjang pembelajaran oleh peserta didik baik disekolah maupun secara mandiri dirumah. Kata Kunci: e-LKPD, STEM-PjBL, Koloid, Kemampuan berpikir kreatif
