Abstract

This research entitled “Analysis Framing of Corruption Case of Langkat’s Government Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin in Online Media Waspada.co.id”. The research method is qualitative. The study aims to determine how online media waspada.co.id framed the corruption case of Langkat’s Government Terbit Rencana. The subject researched is online media waspada.co.id. The object researched is the news article about the corruption case of Langkat’s Government, Terbit Rencana, released on January 19 and January 20, 2022. The data collection used is a literature study and documentation. The analysis data used is analysis framing Robert N.Entman. The research shows that waspada.co.id framed the "Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin" case as too excessive, with the explanation of physical condition and sentence that cornered Terbit Rencana. Waspada.co.id tends to side with the government, according to the published news that focused on how the performance of KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) in handling Terbit Rencana's case.

Abstract

The development of urban farming continues to grow, encouraging the emergence of a joint movement in creating food security, building the environment, economy, and community empowerment. This development trend has also made urban farming one of the leading programs in building food security. This research aims to understand the relevance of urban farming development. The method used is bibliometric analysis in looking at the development of research with the keyword "urban farming. data taken from 2010-2023. The results show that urban farming is considered to be an effective way to improve food security and economic conditions in urban areas. Urban farming has the potential to provide positive impacts in various aspects, economic, social, and environmental. As a commodity production, urban farming tends to be concerned with distribution, marketing and land area. The diversity of literature places urban farming as having development potential that leads to aspects of food security and environmental effects.

Abstract

The Karo people are one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia, especially in the North Sumatra region. The Karo community has strong traditions when it comes to family ties and marriage. However, in some cases, inter-clan marriages within Karo society have caused strong reactions, leading to the displacement of affected families. This research was conducted to help the younger generation better understand the impact of inter-clan marriages in Karo society. It helps us to understand the internal and external conflicts that occur and their impact on family relationships, social interactions, community and youth support. In addition, this research also aims to identify solution approaches that young people can apply in their lives. Quantitative research methods were used in this study. Qualitative methods, i.e. Collecting and reviewing the quality and accuracy of field survey data and answering questions related to the theory of literature study on the issue. This research concludes that marriage between clans (Turang) is considered a violation of customs and the perpetrator is punished according to the customs of the community and tribe. When an inter-tribal marriage occurs, the children have the same clan and surname and are not automatically accepted by the Karo tribe.

Abstract

Banyak istilah baru muncul di internet sebagai akibat dari kemajuan teknologi serta peningkatan pemakaian sosial media. Salah satunya ialah istilah Cancel Culture (Budaya Pengenyahan). Tujuan dari riset ini ialah guna mengenali cerminan dari fenomena Cancel Culture yang dilakukan oleh netizen ataupun pengguna Twitter pada kasus Tri Suaka serta Zinidin Zidan yang diunggah diakun @AREAJULID dan guna mengenali akibat yang didapat sehabis dilakukannya Cancel Culture tersebut. Riset ini memakai tata cara penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dimana peneliti menerapkan wawancara mendalam pada 3 (tiga) informan yang melakukan Cancel Culture, menerapkan observasi, serta dokumentasi. Hasil riset ini menampilkan kalau para informan melakukan Cancel Culture selaku wujud kekecewaan mereka terhadap Tri Suaka serta Zinidin Zidan dan akibat yang didapatkan pada Tri Suaka serta Zinidin Zidan yakni hilangnya penggemar ataupun subscriber, berkurangnya tawaran manggung, serta isomasi.

Abstract

Kecantikan pada wanita tidak lagi bersifat relatif, melainkan menjadi universal. Adanya tanda-tanda tertentu dalam hal ini, sebagian besar diciptakan oleh manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar dapat mengetahui bagaimana representasi dn standar kecantikan di Korea Selatan melalui drama True Beauty. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu analisis semuitika. Adapun dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecantikan fisik masih sangat dijunjung tinggi oleh Sebagian besar masyarakat di belahan dunia manapun. Masyarakat cenderung akan mengucilkan dan memperlakukan orang orang yang dianggap tidak memenuhi standar kecantikan yang mereka anut dengan buruk. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa adegan dalam drama True Beauty yang beberapa kali menampilkan adanya penindasan dan perbedaan perlakuan antara orang yang dianggap “cantik” dan orang yang dianggap “jelek” dari masyarakat sekitar

Abstract

As time goes by, we cannot deny that technological developments cannot be avoided anymore. Technological developments clearly make it easier for humans to communicate and reach information with a wide range. The transition of mechanical and analog technology to digital technology is a sign that we are in the digital era, this technological change then causes changes in human culture. One example of these changes can be seen in the way people think and act in everyday life. However, in line with the development of media technology, new criminal acts have emerged. This crime occurs on social media, for that we are required to have good media literacy skills in order to avoid and prevent criminal acts that might occur. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the media literacy abilities of students who are members of the Immedia community as an effort to prevent crime. For data validity, interviews were conducted with students in the Immedia community. The results of this study indicate that the level of student media literacy is practically very good and continues to increase.

Abstract

Perempuan sejak lahir sudah disematkan dengan peran domestik yang akan diperankannya tidak jauh dari peran kasur, sumur dan dapur. Pada Film Enola Holmes Season 1 dan 2 membongkar peran domestik tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bahwa selain peran fitrah yang telah melekat pada perempuan tersebut, perempuan berhak memimpikan, mewujudkan dan melalukan perubahan untuk dirinya dan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Film ini mempersuasi untuk lebih memperhatikan hak-hak perempuan, bukan hanya menjadi pemeran figuran tapi juga dapat menjadi pemeran public tanpa melupakan peran domestik.

Abstract

Media has a very central role in defining how reality should be understood and how that reality should be explained in a certain way to the public. The dynamics of the pros and cons of food estate seems interesting to examine further from Waspada.co.id's perspective in framing information related to food estate. The research method used in this study is the framing analysis model, with reference to four aspects, namely; Define Problems, Diagnose Cause, Make Moral Judgment, and Treatment Recommendation. The results of the research show that Waspada.co.id has tried to be balanced in presenting information, but on the other hand the majority actors such as private corporations are given a large enough space, accusing the various opinions expressed by local residents as inappropriate. Waspada.co.id seems inclined to construct or frame the Food estate program as an important program and has a priority scale in government programs, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. This can be seen through the construction of Waspada.co.id news which selects and emphasizes certain positive aspects of the food estate program.

Abstract

Food security for a country is a very important thing. Food is a basic need that is essential and very fundamental for humans to fulfill and maintain their life. This study aims to see how extension communication activities are carried out by the National Food Agency (BPN) as part of the government in realizing ecological citizenship and increasing the national food security index. This study uses a case study approach to analyze extension activities carried out by the National Food Agency (BPN) in realizing ecological citizenship and food security. The results of the research show that food security based on three pillars (availability, affordability, utilization) has coherence which basically can be achieved by prioritizing environmental preservation. Extension activities with the concept of ecological citizenship play an important role because they use a bottom-up approach, namely through direct community participation. Through the concept of ecological citizenship, the government does not just solve food security problems, but simultaneously can protect the environment. Optimization of ecological citizenship in increasing national food security is carried out through clear and effective counseling intensity by prioritizing sustainability and humanist principles, such as counseling based on health knowledge, as well as maintenance of an equitable environment.
