Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar biografi, kehidupan, serta pemikiran Ibnu Sina mengenai pendidikan, kemudian untuk menemukan relevansi pemikiran pendidikan Ibnu Sina dengan pendidikan Islam di era modern ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan makalah ini adalah metode kepustakaan (library research). Peneliti menghimpun sumber data melalui literatur-literatur teks, baik buku, jurnal, maupun artikel-artikel yang berhubungan dengan pembahasan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Ibnu Sina Sebagai seorang filosof, ahli kedokteran dan juga pendidikan, Ibnu Sina memiliki gagasan dan pemikiran terkait tentang mendidik anak, yang diantaranya menjelaskan kepada kita bahwa ia sangat memperhatikan pendidikan akhlak anak. pemikiran Ibnu Sina mengenai pendidikan secara terstruktur dari tujuan, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran dan guru atau pendidik ialah faktor dari pada unsur-usur determinan dalam pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, pemikiran Ibnu Sina dapat dijadikan acuan penting dalam memajukan dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate a leadership training program by Tyler’s goal-oriented theory. Tyler’s evaluation is a process to decide whether realization the goal or not. This study was conducted to implement leadership training at Level III (for echelon III or administrator) of government employees held by the human resources development agency of Jakarta in 2005-2008. The data was analyzed by using qualitative analyses. The results found that implementation of leadership training at Level III organized by the Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM) runs effectively based on its stipulation in Perla No.19/2015. The improvement of visionary leadership competence found that almost all participants who become the sample of this study do projectchange evaluation with the middle period milestone. Tyler’s approach matches leadership-training implementation. Due to applying this approach, the strengths and weaknesses could be seen, starting from the participants, interviewees, curriculum, and evaluation.

Abstract

AbstrakKader Posyandu Lansia sebagai garda terdepan pelayanan kesehatan berbasis komunitas memiliki peran penting dalam mengedukasi, mendampingi, dan memotivasi lansia agar patuh dalam menjalani terapi pengobatan. Namun demikian, kapasitas kader dalam hal pengetahuan, keterampilan komunikasi, dan metode edukasi masih perlu ditingkatkan agar intervensi yang dilakukan lebih efektif. Kelurahan Kasin Kota Malang dengan luas wilayah ±132.200  dengan 11 RW dan 96 RT bidang kesehatan merupakan salah target pelayanan yang diwujudkan melalui adanya Poskeskel, Posyandu Balita, Posyandu Lansia yang memiliki  sekitar 180 orang lanjut usia (di atas 60 tahun). Kepatuhan lansia dalam mengonsumsi obat sesuai dengan resep dokter masih menjadi tantangan besar,  Dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan kesehatan di Posyandu Lansia di kelurahan Kasin Kota Malang ditemukan bahwa kepatuhan lansia dalam mengonsumsi obat sesuai resep dokter masih rendah. Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk meningkatan Kapasitas Kader Posyandu Lansia Dalam  Meningkatkan Kepatuhan Lansia Dalam Minum Obat. Kegiatan dalam PKM ini meliputi pelatihan untuk Kader Posyandu Lansia tentang pemahaman dasar mengenai penyakit kronis yang umum diderita lansia (hipertensi, diabetes, jantung),Konsep penggunaan obat yang rasional dan risiko polifarmasi. ,Teknik menyampaikan informasi secara sederhana dan persuasive, cara menghadapi lansia dengan keterbatasan penglihatan, pendengaran, atau daya ingat, latihan komunikasi langsung menggunakan media edukasi, roleplay antara kader dan fasilitator sebagai lansia untuk meningkatkan keterampilan aplikatif. Evaluasi pengukuran pemahaman peserta pengabdian masyarakat dengan membandingkan rerata nilai pretest dan posttest Kriteria pengukuran pemahaman dikatakan berhasil apabila terjadi peningkatan rerata pemahaman pada post-test dibandingkan pre-test sebesar 50%. Kader Kesehatan dalam pengabdian yang mengikuti kegiatan ini mendapatkan nilai rata rata pretest 5,7 dan post test 8,1, evaluasi ketrampilan dalam menngunakan media terhadap salah satu kader yang ditunjuk secara acak dengan menngunakan ceklist didapatkan skor 78. Luaran  dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Laporan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, Publikasi jurnal pengmas Selaparang dan Leaflet “ayo, Patuh Minum Obat. Kata Kunci : pengetahuan; kader posyandu kepatuhan; minum obat, lansia. AbstractElderly Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) cadres, as the frontline of community-based health services, play a vital role in educating, supporting, and motivating older adults to adhere to their prescribed medication regimens. However, their capacity—particularly in terms of knowledge, communication skills, and educational strategies—still requires improvement to ensure more effective interventions. Kasin Village in Malang City, covering an area of approximately 132,200 m² and comprising 11 neighborhood associations (RW) and 96 neighborhood units (RT), is one of the target areas for service delivery. Health services in the area are facilitated through the Urban Village Health Post (Poskeskel), the Toddler Posyandu, and the Elderly Posyandu, serving approximately 180 older adults (aged 60 and above). Low medication adherence among the elderly remains a major challenge at the Elderly Posyandu in Kasin Village. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to strengthen the capacity of Elderly Posyandu cadres in promoting medication adherence among older adults. Program activities included training sessions on common chronic illnesses in the elderly (such as hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease), principles of rational drug use, and the risks of polypharmacy. Additional topics covered included techniques for delivering information in a simple and persuasive manner, approaches for assisting older adults with sensory or memory limitations, hands-on communication practice using educational media, and role-playing exercises between cadres and facilitators acting as elderly individuals to improve practical skills. Participants’ understanding was evaluated by comparing average pre-test and post-test scores. The intervention was considered successful if post-test scores improved by at least 50% compared to pre-test scores. The health cadres achieved an average pre-test score of 5.7 and a post-test score of 8.1. An assessment of media usage skills, conducted with one randomly selected cadre using a checklist, yielded a score of 78. The outcomes of this community service program included a final report, a journal article published in the Selaparang community service journal, and a leaflet titled "Let’s Take Our Medication as Prescribed!". Kata Kunci : knowledge; posyandu cadres; medication adherence; elderly; health education.

Abstract

Pain is a physiological response due to tissue damage or harmful stimuli that require analgesic therapy. Long-term use of synthetic analgesics carries the risk of side effects, so natural alternatives are needed, one of which is mint leaves (Mentha piperita) which contain menthol as an analgesic compound. The concentration of ethanol in the extraction process is known to affect the content of active compounds and their pharmacological activity. This study aims to evaluate the topical analgesic effect of mint leaf extract gel extracted with 50%, 70%, and 96% ethanol using the tail flick method in white mice (Mus musculus). The gel was applied to the tail of the mice, then pain was induced with hot water at 55±0.5°C. Latency time was recorded at certain observation intervals. The results showed a significant difference in the average latency time between treatment groups compared to the negative control starting at the 30th minute (p<0.05). The 96% ethanol extract gel showed the highest analgesic effect at the 150th minute with a latency time of 9.05±0.34 seconds and analgesic activity of 53.71%. In conclusion, variations in ethanol concentration affect the optimization of the topical analgesic activity of mint leaves. Keywords:          pain, mint leaf, topical analgesic, effectiveness, tail flick   Abstrak Nyeri merupakan respons fisiologis akibat kerusakan jaringan atau rangsangan berbahaya sehingga memerlukan terapi analgesik. Penggunaan analgesik sintetis jangka panjang berisiko menimbulkan efek samping, sehingga diperlukan alternatif berbahan alam, salah satunya daun mint (Mentha piperita) yang mengandung mentol sebagai senyawa analgesik. Konsentrasi etanol dalam proses ekstraksi diketahui memengaruhi kandungan senyawa aktif dan aktivitas farmakologisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efek analgesik topikal gel ekstrak daun mint hasil ekstraksi dengan etanol 50%, 70%, dan 96% menggunakan metode tail flick pada mencit putih (Mus musculus). Gel dioleskan pada ekor mencit, kemudian diinduksi nyeri dengan air panas 55±0,5°C. Waktu latensi dicatat pada interval pengamatan tertentu. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan rerata waktu latensi antar kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan kontrol negatif mulai menit ke-30 (p<0,05). Gel ekstrak etanol 96% menunjukkan efek analgesik tertinggi pada menit ke-150 dengan waktu latensi 9,05 ± 0,34 detik dan aktivitas analgesik 53,71%. Kesimpulannya, variasi konsentrasi etanol berpengaruh terhadap optimalisasi aktivitas analgesik topikal daun mint. Kata Kunci:         nyeri, daun mint, analgesik topikal, efektivitas, tail flick

Abstract

This study examines how working conditions influence gig workers’ participation in employment social security programs. Using a quantitative explanatory survey, it analyzes the effects of income level, working hours, and order stability on participation, with employment relationship status as a mediating variable and financial literacy and social security literacy as moderating variables. Data were collected from 300 gig workers engaged in ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics platforms through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to test direct, indirect, and moderating effects simultaneously. The findings show that income, working hours, and order stability significantly affect employment relationship status, which in turn positively influences social security participation. Financial literacy strengthens this relationship, whereas social security literacy does not show a moderating effect. Overall, the results highlight the importance of employment clarity and financial capability in expanding gig workers’ social protection inclusion.

Abstract

The increase in infrastructure development in Indonesia has directly impacted the high demand for concrete. The increased use of concrete has the potential to cause negative effects on the environment. To support sustainable infrastructure development, innovative concrete has been developed by utilizing stone dust as a partial substitute for fine aggregate. This study aims to determine the optimum content of stone dust as a partial substitute for fine aggregate on the tensile strength and modulus of rupture of concrete. The research method used is the experimental method. The concrete mix design uses variations of stone ash at 0%; 5%; 10%; 15%; and 20% of the weight of the fine aggregate. The test specimens for the split tensile strength test are cylindrical with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm, while the test specimens for the modulus of rupture test are beam-shaped with a width of 10 cm, height of 10 cm, and length of 40 cm, and all specimens are tested at 28 days old. Hardened concrete testing for split tensile strength uses a Compression Testing Machine, and modulus of rupture testing uses a Universal Testing Machine. The results of the split tensile strength test were 2,45 MPa; 2,57 MPa; 2,64 MPa; 2,78 MPa; and 2,71 MPa, with R² = 0,923. The results of the modulus of rupture test were 4,00 MPa; 4,32 MPa; 4,62 MPa; 5,10 MPa; and 4,85 MPa, with R² = 0,909. The split tensile strength and modulus of rupture reached their optimum values at stone ash contents of 17,83% and 19,31%, respectively.

Abstract

The construction industry is an important thing to support the development of a country. In concrete construction, quality, strength, and durability of concrete are the main requirements of all. In urban tropical countries, carbonation is one of the essential factors that affect the durability of concrete, and it may cause corrosion of reinforced steel in concrete. Therefore, high strength self-compacting concrete may be expected as the solution, improved by pozzolanic additions, metakaolin with substitution dosage at 10%; 12,5%; 15%; 17,5%; and 20%. This study purposed to determine the effect of metakaolin and its optimum dosage to improve high strength self-compacting concrete quality on its carbonation rates. This study was done by using experimental methods. It needs a plain cylindrical concrete with 75 mm diameter and 150 mm height, and testing by SNI 03-6468-2000, EFNARC 2002, and SEM-PUPR 25-2015. The carbonation test is done using accelerated laboratory carbonation in Structures and Materials Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret by soaking the specimens in a 4% carbonate solution for 15 days, 37 days, and 51 days, proceeded by splitting using CTM, and spray it using a 1% phenolphthalein indicator to determine its carbonation depth. Based on the results, metakaolin might improve concrete quality by reducing its carbonation rates by 15% substitution dosage of cement content, with a nominal atmospheric carbonation coefficient 3,71 mm/year½, reduced 44,41% from HSSCC without metakaolin substitution. Metakaolin addition might reduce fresh concrete's workability and fulfill self-compacting concrete requirements specified by EFNARC 2002.

Abstract

Mandakini Neo was made with the ship's capacity, speed, and comfort in mind, as well as the ship's hydrodynamic performance and construction cost. Therefore, the method used to determine the hydrostatic characteristics is through a simulation consisting of a resistance test, stability test, maneuver test, and seakeeping test. The simulation uses Maxsurf software with the Savitsky method, which is then processed by data. Global Positioning System (GPS) and ultrasonic sensor tests were also conducted. Based on the simulation results, the stability of the Mandakini Neo ship has a GZ value of 0.1417 m with an angle of 30°, which follows the standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). In testing, the maneuvers obtained have met IMO standards based on tactical and advanced diameters. Based on the seakeeping test, when the speed is 5 knots, the heave movement has the same magnitude for all wave headings, 0.0096 m. while the most considerable rolling motion is in the wave direction of 135°, which is 0.36 m, and the most considerable pitch motion is in the direction of the 180° wave, which is 0.042 m. At a speed of 10 knots, the heave motion produced is the same as for all wave headings.

Abstract

The use of the maturity method to predict the actual compressive strength of concrete in construction projects is limited to same concrete mix designs that have undergone laboratory calibration tests. In the application of this method logarithmic equations are commonly used as model predictions because of their ease of use. Several studies has been done to compare logarithmic equation with other prediction model on concrete with binder subtitute. This experimental study aims to determine the suitability of using logarithmic equations in describing the compressive strength-maturity relationship in conventional concrete design mixes with different water-cement ratio (0.4; 0.45; 0.5; 0.55; 0.6) and with use of admixture in the form of 10% fly ash. The test object used is a concrete cylinder with a height of 30 cm and a diameter of 15 cm. Temperature measurements and concrete compressive strength tests were carried out at the ages of 1, 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. The test data is depicted in the logarithmic equation curve and compared with the hyperbolic equation. The results showed that the logarithmic equation resulted in a higher coefficient of determination or lower error in 5 of the 6 mix designs used. Thus, the logarithmic equation has a good suitability for data testing and can be used to predict the compressive strength of concrete for the mix design used in this study.

Abstract

Pembangunan infrastrukur yang semakin masif menyebabkan meningkatnya limbah kosntruksi. Hal itu yang akhirnya melahirkan suatu inovasi beton ramah lingkungan, salah satunya adalah inovasi beton berkualitas tinggi memadat mandiri dengan penggunaan metakaolin sebagai subtritusi semen dan agregat limbah pecahan keramik sebagai substitusi agregat kasar tanpa mengurangi kekuatan beton. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan melakukan pengujian secara langsung di laboratorium. Benda uji yang digunakan untuk pengujian serapan CO2 dan karbonasi berupa silinder beton dengan diameter 7,5 cm dan tinggi 15 cm. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, penggantian metakaolin 12,5% dari berat semen dan variasi agregat  limbah pecahan keramik telah memenuhi parameter beton memadat mandiri seperti yang tercantun dalam EFNARC 2002. Pada pengujian serapan CO2 dan karbonasi didapatkan hasil minimum pada substitusi agregat limbah pecahan keramik kadar 20%. Penambahan limbah pecahan keramik dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan beton, tetapi mengurangi serapan CO2 dan karbonasi pada beton karena agregat limbah pecahan keramik memiliki bentuk bersudut dan tidak seragam yang dapat mengisi beton dengan baik dan menjadikan beton semakin padat. Selain itu agregat limbah pecahan keramik mengandung CSH sehingga menambah kekuatan antar partikel beton.Kata Kunci: agregat limbah pecahan keramik, beton mutu tinggi memadat mandiri, karbonasi, metakaolin, serapan CO2.
