The problem of malnutrition in children underfive is still major nutritional problem that needs attention. Nutritional problems are directly caused by inadequate intake and high infectious disease. This is related to environmental sanitation and inadequate health services, impaired access to food, inadequate maternal care and the lack of knowledge of mothers about how to give good food to children of weaning age. For this reason, counseling activities are needed as an effort to increase the knowledge of mothers of children under five related to malnutrition. The method of implementing community service activities is in the form of counseling and evaluation of pre and post tests. Monitoring is carried out by identifying indicators of success in aspects of attendance, reflection, and feedback from participants. After education, there was an increase in knowledge from the post test evaluation results with a good knowledge category of 100%. It was concluded that this activity could increase the knowledge of mothers under five regarding the prevention and control of malnutrition. The program can be continuous with the cooperation of health workers at the Pamenang Health Center

Anemia is the impact of nutritional problems on teenager girl. Nutritional anemia is caused by a lack of nutrients that play a role in the formation of hemoglobin, it can be due to lack of consumption or absorption disorders. Only 62% of anemia mothers have received iron supplemented tablets in the working area of Puskesmas Simpang Limbur, while the iron supplemented tablet program for teenager girls in high school has not been implemented. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide information and motivation to teenagers to prevent anemia. Providing information in the form of health education regarding the definition, signs, clinical signs and symptoms and the impact of anemia. The implementation method is in the form of counseling, discussion, practice simulation and pre-post test evaluation. Monitoring evaluation is carried out by looking at the indicators of success in the aspect of target attendance attending every meeting in service and practice activities to the target, reflections and feedback from the participants. The results of the activity show that school support is very good, students' knowledge of anemia is more than 80%. The material still needs to be improved regarding the risk factors for anemia in adolescents. Collaboration with health workers is needed to gain new knowledge on a regular basis, as well as empowering students as youth cadres.

Stunting is still a national health problem, including in Jambi Province. The highest prevalence of stunted toddlers was found in Batanghari Regency, precisely in the Durian Luncuk Health Centre Working Area. Malnutrition and anemia in pregnant women will cause low birth weight and malnutrition in toddlers, including the stunting. The trend of the percentage of mothers giving birth to low birth weight babies (BBLR) in the last three years tends to increase, while babies with BBLR are more at risk of stunting. Efforts to prevent malnutrition and anemia in pregnant women include increasing the consumption of foods high in iron and protein around the mother's residence, which is the local wisdom of the region. The purpose of this activity is to carry out the assistance of anti-Razia (Malnutrition and Anemia) pregnant women's classes as a forum for health education for pregnant women and posyandu cadres to empower communities to prevent stunting, as well as midwives who can facilitate and become resource persons in anti-Razia women's classes with the method of theoretical exposure and demonstration of food processing practices which are divided into three classes where each class consists of three meetings. After a series of activities, the knowledge of pregnant women increased by 61%, the knowledge of posyandu cadres increased by 63%, and the knowledge of village midwives increased by 19%, the formation and implementation of the anti-Razia mother class, the implementation of cadre and village midwife training, increased knowledge and behavioral changes about the use of local food to prevent malnutrition and anemia in pregnant women and intellectual property rights for the Anti-Razia Mother Class module.

One of the conditions in fulfilling balanced nutrition in school children is consumption of vegetables and fruit. Consumption of vegetables and fruit can protect the body and maintain weight. However, consumption of vegetables and fruits that are less can increase the risk of chronic diseases. The aim of this community service activities was to give counseling on the importance of fruit and vegetable consumption in school children at SDN 082 / IV Sijenjang. The target in this activity is that students have good knowledge about the importance of vegetables and fruit. The output of this activity is in the form of media. The activity was held for 6 months (December 2017-May 2018) at SDN 082 / IV Sijenjang. Based on the results of community service activities there was an increase in posttest value ≥ 80 of 22.5%. The increase in the results of this knowledge must be supported by the attitude to be able to consume vegetables and fruits regularly. For this reason, it is necessary to collaborate with all parties, both from schools and health centers, to continue to improve the knowledge of SDN 082 / IV Sijenjang students so that students can implement in their daily habits.

Lack of hemoglobin levels in pregnant women is one of the health problems that are prone to occur during pregnancy and can increase the risk of low birth weight babies (LBW), the risk of bleeding before and during delivery, and can even cause the death of mothers and babies if the pregnant woman suffering from severe anemia. Anemia that is often experienced by pregnant women is due to iron deficiency because in pregnant women there is a twofold increase in iron due to an increase in blood volume without plasma volume expansion to meet the needs of the mother and fetal growth. One of the factors that can affect hemoglobin levels is the type of food consumed. Types of foods that are rarely consumed but are very beneficial for pregnant women are liver, eggs, and fish which can be abbreviated as "ATIKA". Emodemo is a method that can be used to convey information in the form of demonstrations that are attractive and fun for the target audience, because what is being done is not material but role-play and discussion. The result that the target understood the material presented and was able to practice measuring the amount of food consumption of iron sources. It is suggested that the Community Health Centre Tungkal II can increase the activities of education that interactive and interesting related nutritional problems that occur in pregnant women

The low khowledge of teenager girl at SMA N 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat was one of the reason for distribution of iron supplemented tablets from Dinas Kesehatan Tanjung Jabung Barat. In addition, knowledge about iron supplemented tablets is also very minimal. So it is not uncommon for many reason that iron supplemented tablets are not consumed and are not properly distributed.one of efforts to overcome this problem is counseling about anemia. This activity was carried out at SMA N 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The implementation of this activity is from September 2020 to February 2021. The target of this activity is teenager girl of SMA N 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The implementation method are in the form of counseling and discussion. The results obtained in this activity were the goal of understanding the material about anemia. It is recommended that the school be able to work together with Puskesmas and Dinas Kesehatan to provide health education regularly when carry out activities to provide iron supplement tablets in order to understand the importance of knowledge about anemia

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is the impact of poor nutritional status of pregnant women. One of determining factors that influence the nutritional status is household food security. The purpose of this study was to determine household food security and incidence of CED in pregnant women’s Suku Anak Dalam in Bungku Village Batanghari Regency. This study used crossectional study design and using a total sampling of 31 pregnant women. Measuring instruments using questionnaires and CED measured using CUA ribbon and energy intake 2x24 hours measuredby recall. Data analysis were used univariate and bivariate (spearman test). The results showed that the majority of respondent experienced the risk of CED(67.7%). As many as 45.2% household experienced food shortages. Most of respondent who experienced food shortages also have risk of CED was 25.8%. The results showed an correlation between food security and risk of CED (P<0.05).

The role of nutrition in the life cycle is very important. If there is a problem with malnutrition, this is a sign that you are at risk of suffering from chronic disease. Measurement of nutritional status and body fat percentage is important as an initial screening to prevent the risk of chronic disease. This study aims to describe the performance of the nutritional status and body fat percentage of new student STIKes Baiturrahim 2020. This study used a cross-sectional study. The research was conducted at STIKes Baiturrahim Jambi in September 2019. The number of respondents was 148 people. The data used are the characteristics of the respondents (age, sex, body weight, and height) and the percent of body fat obtained from measurement of Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). The results showed that most of them had normal nutritional status (64,2%) and body fat percentage was classified as normal (41,9%). It is recommended that students maintain normal nutritional status and body fat percentage and also always monitoring the body weight to prevent chronic disease

Overnutrition is a condition in which a person's body is overweight due to an excess amount of energy intake stored in the form of reserves in the form of fat. Overnutrition can be influenced by consumption patterns of energy and protein. Overnutrition is a problem that needs special attention because it has a big influence on determining the growth and development of the body as an adult. This type of research is descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 3 Sungai penuh. The sample in this study was 44 respondents and was carried out using a proportional random sampling technique. The variables used in this study were consumption patterns and nutritional status. Data on consumption patterns were obtained using interviews using the questionnaire of consumption pattern and nutritional status data obtained from direct measurements. Data were collected and then analyzed univariate and bivariate with the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had poor consumption patterns with more nutritional status (73.7%). The conclusion of this study was that there was no significant relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status (P> 0.05). For this reason, it is expected to increase knowledge about good consumption patterns so that they can influence nutritional status.

Children are an asset of human resources and the next generation that need to be considered in their lives. Adequacy of nutrition and food is one of the most important factors in developing the quality of Human Resources. Based on data from SSGI (2021), there are 3 major regions in Jambi Province that experience nutritional problems in children based on (TB/U), one of which is Kerinci Regency (26.7%). The purpose of this study was to analyze and further examine the relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement in fourth grade elementary school children in Siulak Distric . This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The location of this research was conducted in several schools that had the largest population representing 17 elementary schools with A, B, and C accreditation, in the Siulak District, namely SDN IT AL -Madina Telago Biru (accreditation A), SDN 176/III Siulak Kecil Mudik (Accreditation B), SDN 87/III Air Terjun (Accreditation C). This research was conducted from July to August 2022. The population in the study was 1970 people. The sample is 95 people with purposive sampling technique. The statistical test used is the chi square test. The results showed that most of the elementary school children in Siulak District had normal nutritional status (81.1%), with good academic achievement (70.5%). There is a significant relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement of elementary school children in Siulak District (p value = 0.011). It is hoped that the elementary school will cooperate with the local health center in improving the nutritional status of children so as to create good learning achievements for all students
