Abstract

The research was conducted in Tangkit Baru Village as the main center of pineapple production in Jambi Province. This study aims to: 1) Describe the general description of pineapple tangkit agribusiness in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 2) Identify strategic environmental conditions in the development of pineapple tangkit agribusiness in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 3) Formulate a strategy for developing pineapple tangkit agribusiness in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The sampling method in this study was carried out purposively (deliberately) to 28 key informants and 7 key experts. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed by descriptive methods, SWOT analysis (Strenght, Weakness, Oppoturnities, Threats) and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy  Process) analysis. This research will be conducted from December 27, 2023, to February 27, 2024. The results showed: 1) Pineapple agribusiness consists of 5 sub-systems, namely the procurement and distribution subsystem of production facilities (saprodi), the on-farm subsystem or agricultural production, the processing subsystem of marketing subsystems and supporting subsystems (institutional); 2) Identification of the strategic environment includes internal factors consisting of 7 strengths and 11 camps, while external factors consist of 7 opportunities and 6 threats; 3) The results of the SWOT analysis show that the development of pineapple agribusiness is in quadrant I (aggressive strategy) with several alternative strategies that can be done including: increasing production by maximizing authorized capital (natural resources and human resources), STA development and expanding market share. The results of the AHP analysis show that the development of STA is the most important alternative in the development of tangkit pineapple agribusiness because the existence of STA will be able to explore all the potential strengths possessed in the development of tangkit pineapple agribusiness.

Abstract

Lahan pasang surut memiliki potensi yang cukup besar untuk budidaya tanaman panganmeskipun indeks tanam di daerah pasang surut pada umumnya tergolong rendah dikarenakan masatanaman yang hanya satu kali dalam setahun. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat dikembangkan padalahan pasang surut adalah teknologi budidaya jenuh air.Penelitian dilakukan pada desa Simpang,Rantau Makmur dan Rantau Rasau Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur dimana data yang diambiladalah data primer dari 60 sampel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). Mendeskripsikan keragaanusahatani kedelei dengan sistem budidaya jenuh air, (2). Menganalisis pendapata usahatani kedeleidengan budidaya jenuh air dan (3) menganalisa kelayakan usahatani kedelei dengan budidaya jenuhair. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaan usahatani kedelei dengan sistem budidaya jenuhair adalah dengan rata rata luas lahan 1,92 ha menghasilkan produksi rata rata sebanyak 2.142kg/ha/MT yang menggunakan varietas bibit anjasmoro dan jarak tanam 30cx03cm sertapemeliharaan yang baik. Pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usahatani kedelei dengan budidaya jenuhair adalah sebesar Rp 1.215.700,-/ha/MT. usahatani kedelei dengan budidaya jenuh air memberikannilai kelayakan R/C ratio sebesar 1,12 yang artinya bahwa setiap Rp 1000,- biaya yang dikeluarkanoleh petani kedelei akan memperoleh keuntungan sebesar Rp 1.120.-. hal ini menunjukkan bahwausahatani kedelei dengan budidaya jenuh air layak untuk diusahakan/dikembangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Describe an overview of the sugar cane brown sugar processing agro-industry in Sungai Asam Village, Kayu Aro Barat Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency. (2) Analyze the income and acceptance of sugar cane brown sugar agro-industry in Sungai Asam Village, Kayu Aro Barat Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency. Data collection in this thesis was conducted using observation and interview methods. Interviews were conducted with 7 agro-industries located in Sungai Asam Village, West Kayu Aro Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis analysis, income analysis. Based on the results of the study, there are 16 agro-industries that developed in Sungai Asam Village, West Kayu Aro Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency, spread across four hamlets. One of the hamlets that has the most agroindustry is Block C Hamlet with a total of 7 agroindustries (1) The Sugar Cane Agroindustry in Sungai Asam Village is still categorized as a small-scale industry which is founded on the background because the majority of the people of Sungai Asam Village plant sugar cane plants. (2) The average income received by the cane brown sugar agroindustry is greater than the UMP value of Kerinci Regency. From the results of these calculations, the average R / C Ratio value of agro-industry is 2.22, so agro-industry in Sungai Asam Village, Kayu Aro District, Kerinci Regency is feasible or profitable to continue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: 1) describe the description of lowland rice farming; and 2) analyze the income of lowland rice farming in Pasar Terusan Village. The selection of respondents was 40 respondents from 4 farmer groups. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis with an income formula. The results showed that 1) The description of lowland rice farming in Pasar Terusan Village was 0.30 ha, the seed varieties most widely used Karya Renda and Anak Daro with a usage of 2-8 kg/ha/MT, the types of drugs used were gramaxone, regent, CBA and insecticides with a usage of 0.67-1.57 liters/ha/MT. The types of fertilizers used were Urea, SP36 and KCl with a usage of 8-16 kg/ha/MT, the number of workers used was 1-2 people. The highest amount of lowland rice production was in the Payo Kering I farmer group, which was 1,100 kg/ha/MT. 2) Income of paddy farming in Pasar Terusan Village is Rp.9,813,974,-/ha/MT with revenue of Rp.11,683,750,-/ha/MT and total production cost of paddy farming in Pasar Terusan Village is Rp.1,869,776,-/ha/MT, and from the results of the R/C ratio analysis of 6.25 (R/C> 1) indicates that farmers' income is profitable and feasible to be cultivated. Based on this, this study is expected to be a reference or guideline for farmers in managing their farming businesses, where farmers can improve farming management according to the conditions of the land they have by utilizing all inputs to produce production or produce output according to the wishes of farmers.
