Abstract

Gadget mengacu pada perangkat elektronik yang memiliki beragam fungsi khusus. Gelombang radiasi yang dipancarkan perangkat elektronik berpotensi menimbulkan dampak buruk pada sistem organ manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi literatur. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini berasal dari berbagai sumber ilmiah, antara lain jurnal, prosiding konferensi, dan makalah ilmiah yang relevan dengan subjek penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat elektronik yang berlebihan menyebabkan emisi cahaya biru yang berdampak buruk pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Radiasi dari perangkat elektronik dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan motorik dan kognitif anak. Penggunaan perangkat elektronik yang sering dan berlebihan berpotensi memberikan dampak buruk pada perkembangan fisik dan kognitif anak. Temuan penelitian ini memiliki arti penting bagi orang tua, pendidik, dan masyarakat, karena dapat menjelaskan dampak buruk yang mungkin terjadi akibat penggunaan perangkat elektronik berlebihan di kalangan anak-anak.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological design. The subjects of the study are physical education teachers from junior high school (SMP) and high school (SMA) who have experience or understanding of the use of technology, including AI-based media, in the learning process. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling techniques, which are based on certain criteria, such as having at least 3 years of experience teaching physical education, having used or having basic knowledge of AI-based media in learning, and being willing to participate in research. Qualitative data was collected through interviews. In conclusion, the use of AI technology in physical education learning has great potential to improve the quality of learning, but there are still many challenges that must be overcome. With the support of infrastructure, technological literacy, and the right policies, AI can be an important innovation that supports physical education teachers in facing the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

This study uses experimental methods with pre-test and post-test designs. The subject of the study is students who are taking athletic courses in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program. A total of 30 students were selected by purposive sampling based on certain criteria, such as healthy physical condition, basic ability to jump long jump, and willingness to participate in training programs consistently. Data analysis was carried out using a paired sample t-test statistical test to determine the significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. The results of the hypothesis test using the Paired Sample T Test are known to have a mean value of 4.3 pre-test data, a mean value of post-test data of 4.9, with a mean difference of 0.6, so it can be said that sprint exercises are able to improve students' long jump skills. Furthermore, based on the results of the study, it is known that the Sig. value is 0.000 or < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the data of pre-test and post-test students' long jump ability. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that sprint exercises are proven to be effective as a method to improve students' long jump ability.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to ascertain how high-level rally training affects students' efforts to improve their forehand drive and hitting ability in squash at Makassar State University's Faculty of Sports Science. The sampling technique we used was a random selection of 33 male students. We employed the t-test to analyze the data. The data analysis results indicate that the mean difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores is -13.879, and the sig. 2-tailed is 0.000 or <0.05. Therefore, the highest level of rally training impacts efforts to enhance students' squash forehand driveability, as indicated by the mean difference between the pre-test and post-test scores.

Abstract

This study's objective is to ascertain how the utilization of digital animation video platforms as a learning medium enhances the engagement and academic achievements of Physical Education students in grade V at Tanggul Patompo I Elementary School, located in Makassar City. This study employs an experimental design, utilizing a pre-test and post-test design. The study's variables include student interest and learning achievement in the context of physical education. In this study, the instrument used was a questionnaire containing statements that would be used to reveal students' interests and learning achievement when implementing physical education. The study provided a digital platform to facilitate the learning process. The sample in this study consisted of one class of 30 students. The results of the study showed that the N-Gain test of interest data had the lowest percentage increase of 75.51%, the highest percentage increase of 94.87%, and the average percentage increase of 84.5%. Meanwhile, the N-Gain test of learning outcome data showed the lowest percentage increase of 55.56%, the highest percentage increase of 8.24%, and an average percentage increase of 68.9%. Therefore, it is concluded that animation video platform-based learning media are quite effective in improving the learning achievement of physical education students in grade V at Tanggul Patompo Elementary School I, Makassar City.

Abstract

This study is an experimental approach that utilizes educational video-based play methods to enhance the social-emotional skills of children with special needs through physical education learning. This study employs a single-group pretest-posttest research design. The number of samples in this study was 23 children with special needs. The data collection technique employed a social emotional questionnaire, which consisted of 15 statements provided to parents of students and had a Cronbach's Alpha instrument reliability of 0.952. We used a paired sample t-test for the data analysis technique. The results of the data analysis showed that the Sig. data value was 0.001 < 0.05. Therefore, we can conclude that the pre-test and post-test data on the social-emotional aspects of children with special needs differ. Furthermore, the mean value of the pre-test social-emotional data was 45.04, while the mean value of the post-test social-emotional data was 52.13, resulting in a mean difference of 7.087. Based on these results, we can conclude that the video-based play learning method in physical education influences the social-emotional aspects of children with special needs. Meanwhile, the results of the N-Gain test show that the effectiveness of the video-based play method in physical education learning to improve the social emotions of children with special needs is in the moderate category.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide intensive training and coaching to 85 Kurash athletes from various regions in South Sulawesi in preparation for the Regional Sports Week (PORDA). Kurash, as a relatively new martial arts sport in Indonesia, requires a systematic and targeted coaching strategy in order to be able to compete at the regional and national levels. This activity is carried out through a structured training approach that includes mastery of basic techniques, development of match strategies, improvement of physical fitness, and strengthening of mental competition. The implementation method includes direct training, match simulations, performance evaluations, and mentoring by certified trainers. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the technical, tactical, and physical readiness aspects of the athletes. In addition, this program also succeeded in building motivation, discipline, and fighting spirit of athletes in facing competitions. It is hoped that this program can become a model of sustainable coaching that can produce high-achieving Kurash athletes and strengthen the existence of Kurash in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman tentang bermain sepak bola dengan pendekatan modifikasi yang lebih menyenangkan dan inklusif kepada siswa SMA YP PGRI 3 Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan praktik langsung. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 26 siswa yang antusias dalam mempelajari teknik dasar serta strategi bermain sepak bola. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, terutama dalam menguasai teknik dasar serta menumbuhkan motivasi untuk lebih serius menekuni olahraga sepak bola. Beberapa peserta bahkan mulai mendapatkan perhatian dari klub sepak bola lokal untuk pelatihan lanjutan. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak sosial positif, menunjukkan bahwa sepak bola dapat menjadi sarana untuk mengembangkan potensi individu dan komunitas. Diharapkan kegiatan seperti ini terus mendapat dukungan agar mampu melahirkan atlet-atlet berprestasi dari SMA YP PGRI 3 Makassar yang dapat bersaing di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi dalam kegiatan olahraga kampus terhadap kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 75 orang mahasiswa yang ditentukan dengan Teknik purposive samplimg. Adapun kriteria yang ditetapkan sebagai penentuan sample adalah berusia 18 sampai 23 tahun, berbadan sehat, bersedia mengikuti proses penelitian, dan belum memprogram skripsi agar tidak mengganggu proses akademik mereka. Instrument penelitian mengggunakan angket untuk mengetahui partisipasi dalam berolahraga dan kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa. Angket dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dengan 5 (lima) pilihan jawaban. Dimana sebelum angket ini digunakan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji coba dan uji validitas agar layak untuk digunakan. Adapun hasil uji Cronbach’s Alpha dari instrument partisipasi dalam kegiatan olahraga adalah sebesar 0,949. Sedangkan hasil uji Cronbach’s Alpha dari instrument kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa adalah sebesar 0,959. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji regresi sederhana dengan uji prasyarat yang terdiri atas uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara partisipasi olahraga terhadap kesejahteraan mental. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa partisipasi dalam olahraga secara statistik berkontribusi terhadap perubahan dalam kesejahteraan mental, yang berarti semakin tinggi partisipasi olahraga, semakin besar kemungkinan terjadinya peningkatan dalam kesejahteraan mental. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan percaya diri mahasiswa dalam mengikuti perkuliahan atletik. Desain penelitiann yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pre-test and post-test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 43 orang mahasiswa dengan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Adapun kriteria yang ditetapkan dalam penentuan sampel adalah nberbadan sehat, mengikuti mata kuliah atletik, dan bersedia mengikuti segala proses penelitian. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket percaya diri yang berjumlah 20 nomor soal yang telah diuji coba dengan tingkat reabilitas sebesar 0,923. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T dengan uji uji normalitas sebagai uji prasyarat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistic diketahui Rata-rata nilai pada saat pre-test adalah 82,86, sedangkan setelah perlakuan diberikan melalui pembelajaran Jigsaw, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 88,67. Selisih rata-rata antara kedua pengukuran tersebut adalah sebesar 5,810, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang cukup berarti dalam tingkat percaya diri mahasiswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan percaya diri mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan atletik.
