Abstract

This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of students to expose conservation on campus. This implies there are phrases that are used to always uphold the principle of the protection, preservation, utilization and sustainable development of natural resources and cultural arts, the preservation of the environment on campus conservation. Alteration between environmental changes and the language learned through ekolinguistik study. Based on student attitudes toward environmental conservation can be identified expression of the most popular expressions are: “Embung, Di Kampus: Jalan Kaki atau Bersepeda, Yuk!, Salam Konservasi, Bebas Sepeda Motor, Flora, Fauna, Sampah Organik, Sampah Anorganik, Menanam Pohon, Menanam Harapan, Konservasi Budaya, serta Ramah Lingkungan”. In addition, this research was also identified most not popular expressions that are: Birdfeeder, Peta Tutupan Lahan, Birdwatching, Sarasehan Selasa Legen, Buletin Pelangi Konservasi, Etalase Konservasi, Kicau Konservasi, Majalah Konservasi, Green Corridor, serta Bangunan Hemat Energi. Attitudes and knowledge of students in the development of the University of Creation is one of the keys to success vision application of Unnes. This implies that student attitudes toward environmental conservation on campus will affect the behavior of students in private or community conservation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research mendeskripsi the model needs insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik and designing the prototype insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik .The methodology used in this research is research and development .The results of research while presented by , concluded the following .The level of the needs of the model discourse leads on aspects of student motivation , the aspect of matter or the contents of books , presentation of aspects , the aspect of the materials and keterbacaan , and the aspect of grafika .The prototype design insightful discourse based conservation values ekolinguistik referring to the seven pillars of the conservation i.e. the pillars of biodiversity , the pillars of clean energy, a pillar of green building and internal transport , nirkertas policy pillar , the pillars of waste management, the pillars of ethics art and culture , the pillars of conservation volunteers.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to describe the improvement of the competence inwriting scientific papers of grade XI-IA of SMA Negeri 9 Semarang by using inquiryelement. This research is a classroom action research by using Kemmis and Taggart’scycle theory. There are 2 cycles that consist of 4 steps each: planning, observing,action and reflection. The subject is the skill in writing scientific papers. The resultvariable of this research is the competence of scientific papers writing and the processvariable is the inquiry element. This research uses some test instruments, i.e. 1) thesystem of writing; 2) the ability to think logically; 3) the coherence between the titleand the content; 4) the ability to use proper Indonesian spelling; 5) the ability to writeparagraphs, sentences and words; 6) the ability to write quotations; 7) the ability towrite the bibliography ; and 8) the order of the writing. The non-test instruments arein the form of 1) observation sheet; 2) students’ journal; and 3) interview. The testdata were analyzed quantitatively using statistical formula. Categorization anddescription were used to analyze the non-test data. The result shows that the inquiryelement can be used in teaching the scientific paper writing of grade XI-IA students ofSMA Negeri 9 Semarang. The improvement of the competence can be seen in cycle Iand II. The average score of pre-cycle step was 62.11. Abstract

Politeness strategies in primary school is the foundation of character building. This study aims to identify the power and orientation of positive politeness strategies used by the children at the age of elementary school as the character of Indonesian. This study applies qualitative research with single-case study strategy. The data source consists of all elementary school teachers and students in Surakarta and Yogyakarta. The data were collected by using active observation and focus group discussion.  The data are in the forms of  teaching materials. The data were analyzed using heuristic model proposed by Grice & Leech by applying the principles of reconciliation, cultural and social harmony. The result shows that the elementary school teachers and students having the Javanese cultural background indicated by (a) building the nature of psychological as the core of positive politeness and nation character by improving the empathy feeling, looking for the agreement, giving respect,  appreciating the achievement, and giving the profit to another; (b) prioritizing the duty instead of the rights; (c) creating the wise of directive act strategyby positioning the listener ; (d) respecting others to show the suavity and politeness. Therefore, the Javanese society in line with directive politeness action always put the environment society to keep its social-societal relationship. Keywords: directive politeness, harmony principle, javanese cultural,positive politeness, socio-societal AbstrakStrategi kesantunan di sekolah dasar adalah fondasi pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan orientasi strategi kesantunan positif anak-anak di usia sekolah dasar sebagai karakter bangsa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus tunggal. Sumber data terdiri dari semua guru sekolah dasar dan anak-anak usia SD di Surakarta dan Yogyakarta. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi aktif dan diskusi kelompok fokus. Data tersebut berupa bahan ajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan model heuristik yang diajukan oleh Grice & Leech dengan menerapkan prinsip rekonsiliasi, budaya dan keharmonisan sosial. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa guru sekolah dasar dan anak-anak usia SD yang memiliki latar belakang budaya Jawa ditunjukkan dengan (a) membangun sifat psikologis sebagai inti dari kesantunan positif dan karakter bangsa dengan meningkatkan perasaan empati, mencari kesepakatan, memberikan rasa hormat, menghargai pencapaian, dan memberikan keuntungan kepada yang lain; (b) memprioritaskan tugas dan bukan hak; (c) menciptakan strategi tindakan yang efektif dengan memposisikan pendengar; (D) menghormati orang lain untuk menunjukkan kesantunan. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat Jawa sejalan dengan tindakan kesopanan direktif selalu menempatkan masyarakat lingkungan untuk menjaga hubungan sosial-kemasyarakatannya.Kata Kunci: kesantunan direktif, prinsip harmoni, budaya jawa, kesantunan positif, sosio-sosietal.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the types of speech acts contained in the Galgil T-shirts discourse. The research used theoretical approach, specifically pragmatic and methodological approach which belong to descriptive qualitative. The data in this research were fragments of speech in the Galgil T-shirts discourse. The data were collected by listening technique then continued to simak bebas libat cakap technique and note taking techniques. The heuristic method was used to analyze data. The Data had been analyzed then being presented informally. The results of this research was speech acts in this discourse varies greatly. The types of speech acts contained in the Galgil T-shirt discourse were locutionary, illocutionary, perlocutionary, direct, indirect, literal, non- literal, and direct literal.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bergayut dengan visi UNNES berwawasan Konservasi dan Rencana Induk Pengembangan LP2M UNNES. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diusulkan ini akan bermitra dengan lembaga pendidikan, yaitu PPTQM Luqman Alhakim Putri dengan lokasi kegiatan di Pondok Pesantren Luqman Alhakim. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah santri PPTQM Luqman Alhakim Putri. Tujuan utama dan target khusus pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu: (1) memetakan tingkat pemahaman literasi lisan bagi santri PPTQM Luqman Alhakim Putri, (2) meningkatkan kompetensi literasi lisan sebagai upaya proteksi serangan hoaks, dan (3) membentuk wadah untuk pengembangan berkelanjutan upaya penguatan literasi lisan melalui komunitas debat di PPTQM Luqman Alhakim Putri. Literasi merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam komunikasi manusia karena memungkinkan pelakunya berperan secara aktif dalam proses berpikir kritis, mengungkapkan sekaligus mempertanggungjawabkan gagasan yang diungkapkan. Literasi dapat dibangun melalui kompetensi debat Bahasa Indonesia. Interaksi verbal (lisan) dalam ajang debat Bahasa Indonesia terbukti mampu memberikan pengalaman-pengalaman berbahasa secara kritis, cerdas dan beretika sehingga mampu sebagai sebuah upaya proteksi berita hoaks yang saat ini sangat gencar beredar. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan pelatihan bagi santri sebagai calon penerus masa depan bangsa. Harapannya, terjadi penguatan literasi bagi santri yang nantinya menjadi tokoh dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Pelatihan debat menggunakan metode simulasi. Adapun metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode PALS dengan prosedur sebagai berikut: (1) penyadaran, (2) pengkapasitasan, (3) pendampingan, dan (4) pelembagaan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan akan menghasilkan peningkatan kompetensi literasi melalui debat untuk mencegah beredarnya berita hoaks yang dapat dipahami santri. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the humanist expressive speech acts of journalists in the covid-19 outbreak. The data collection technique was carried out by using the free non-participatory technique. The sources of data are the journalists’ utterances on YouTube in the covid-19 Outbreak. The humanist expressive speech act forms used by journalists, is 58% used the direct speech act forms with imperative, interrogative, and declarative modes; and 42% forms of indirect speech acts were declarative-imperative and declarative-interrogative modes. Results of this study shows that journalists use the forms of direct speech acts with declarative mode mostly. The form of indirect speech acts with the declarative-imperative mode are mostly used by the journalists. This research is important to be a journalist's guide so that the utterances spoken can be accepted by the society in the covid-19 outbreak

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsi bidal-bidal prinsip kerja sama yang dipatuhi dan dilanggar dalam film “Preman Pensiun The Movie” serta menemukan implikatur yang terdapat dalam film “Preman Pensiun The Movie”. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah penggalan percakapan yang terdapat dalam film “Preman Pensiun The Movie” yang diduga mengandung bidal-bidal yang mematuhi dan melanggar prinsip kerja sama. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik catat. Analisis data menggunakan metode heuristik dan metode padan pragmatis. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan (1) bidal-bidal prinsip kerja sama yang dipatuhi meliputi bidal kuantitas, bidal kualitas, bidal relevansi, dan bidal cara, (2) bidal-bidal prinsip kerja sama yang dilanggar terjadi pada bidal bidal kuantitas, bidal kualitas, bidal relevansi, dan bidal cara, (3) implikatur dalam penelitian ini ditemukan tujuh implikatur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media animasi peristiwa alam dan media audiovisual peristiwa alam melalui model Creative Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi, pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen Quasi Experiment (eksprimen semu) dengan metode Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 30 Semarang menggunakan dua kelas sebagai sampel. VIII F menggunakan media animasi peristiwa alam dan VIII H menggunakan media audiovisual peristiwa alam. Hasil penghitungan uji t kelas eksperimen 1, diperoleh nilai signifikasi 0,000<0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima menunjukkan bahwa media animasi peristiwa alam efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penghitungan uji t kelas eksperimen 2, diperoleh nilai signifikasi 0,000<0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima menunjukkan bahwa media audiovisual peristiwa alam efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil uji t pada tes terakhir media animasi peristiwa alam dan media audiovisual peristiwa alam menghasilkan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menandakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Rata-rata posttest media animasi sebesar 75,13 dan rata-rata media audiovisual peristiwa alam sebesar 76,36. Disimpulkan media audiovisual peristiwa alam lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi daripada media animasi peristiwa alam pada kelas VIII SMP. Kata Kunci : keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi, media animasi, media audiovisual, model creative problem solving ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effectiveness of natural events animation media and natural events audiovisual media through the Creative Problem Solving model in learning explanatory text writing skills for students of class VIII SMP. Quantitative research with the type of Quasi Experiment experiment (pseudo experiment) with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design method. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 30 Semarang using two classes as samples. VIII F uses animation media of natural events and VIII H uses audiovisual media of natural events. The results of the calculation of the t test for experimental class 1, obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that the natural events animation media is effectively used in learning The results of the calculation of the t test for experimental class 2, obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that the audiovisual media of natural events is effectively used in learning. The results of the t test on the last test of natural events animation media and natural events audiovisual media produce a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average posttest of animation media is 75.13 and the average audiovisual media of natural events is 76.36. It can be concluded that the natural events audiovisual media is more effective in learning explanatory text writing skills than the natural events animation media in the eighth grade of junior high school. Abstract

. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the scientific approach through the cooperative learning strategy of the two stay two stray type in improving the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students and the obstacles faced by teachers and students. The type of research used is mixed methods with sequential explanatory design. The research instruments used were learning outcomes tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test and the N-Gain test. The results showed that the value of the pretest and posttest results on Sig. (2-tailed) each school scored 0.000 or greater than 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. While in the N-gain test, SDN 20 Buton increased by 0.57 from 48.80 to 78.06 which was in the medium category, while SDN 67 Buton increased by 0.56 from 51.18 to 78.92 which was in the category currently. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the scientific approach through the cooperative learning strategy of the two stay two stray type has proven to be effective in improving science learning outcomes for fifth-grade elementary school students.
