Abstract

Salah satu unsur yang penting dalam bermedia sosial adalah komunikasi, dalam komunikasi inilah erat kaitannya dengan kesantunan berbahasa. Bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi tersebut kemudian dikaji lebih lanjut dalam bidang kajian pragmatik, (Rohmadi, n.d.) kajian pragmatik yakni yang bermaksud mengidentifikasikan tuturan seorang penutur dengan lawan tuturnya berdasarkan pada konteks yang dibahas. Kegiatan ini disebut dengan tuturan atau tindak tutur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kesantunan berbahasa pada media sosial melalui jenis tindak tutur ilokusi. Metode penelitian yang dipakai yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif, disertai teknik simak, catat, dan pustaka. Hasil pada penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa bentuk tindak tutur yang ada pada penelitian ini berupa tuturan representatif, direktif, ekspresif, dan komisif. Serta terdapat prinsip kesantunan berbahasa yang terbagi menjadi dua yakni pematuhan dan pelanggaran atas masing-masing maksim, yakni maksim kebijaksanaan, kedermawanan, penghargaan, kemufakatan, kesederhanaan, dan kesimpatian. Dari hasil tersebut dapat merepresentasikan bagaimana kesantunan berbahasa dalam masyarakat, terutama yang dijumpai pada media sosial salah satunya dari aplikasi TikTok.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa program studi Sastra Indonesia di Semarang mengenai produktivitas dalam berliterasi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Aspek yang diteliti yaitu pemahaman, produktivitas, dan faktor eksternal yang memengaruhi mahasiswa dalam berliterasi sastra. Subjek penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa program studi Sastra Indonesia di Semarang, yaitu mahasiswa aktif dari Universitas Negeri Semarang dan Universitas Diponegoro. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner yang berisi serangkaian pertanyaan terkait urgensi akan produktivitas mahasiswa program studi Sastra Indonesia dalam berliterasi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil angket, diketahui bahwa mahasiswa program studi Sastra Indonesia di Semarang memiliki tingkat produktivitas dalam berliterasi sastra sebesar 45,92% yang dinilai cukup rendah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mahasiswa akan pentingnya berliterasi sastra yang dapat menggerakkan kembali kegiatan bersastra sehingga menghasilkan sastrawan muda yang berkualitas dan lebih produktif.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna budaya Sedekah Laut Tayu dan Juwana Di Kabupaten Pati. Tradisi di Indonesia sendiri dilihat dari persebaran wilayahnya. Salah satu tradisi kebudayaan yang ada di tempat pesisir adalah sedekah laut atau larungan (menghanyutkan sesajen) yang bertujuan untuk bentuk rasa syukur terima kasih kepada Tuhan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif disertai dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pelaksanaan Sedekah Laut dilakukan berdasarkan 4 aspek yaitu, agama, budaya, ekonomi, dan sastra. Sedekah laut dari daerah tayu dan Juwana bisa tergolong sama baik dari segi sesajen maupun upacara, namun seiring berjalannya waktu pelaksanaannya mungkin sedikit berubah dikarenakan biaya karena keuntungan nelayan tidak menentu. Pengetahuan mengenai tradisi budaya sendiri sangat penting. Untuk pemertahanan dan pelestarian budaya, serta menumbuhkan rasa cinta kepada alam dan rasa syukur atas rahmat yang diberikan melalui hasil laut. Maka dari itu anak-anak muda harus mengetahui pengaruh sedekah laut, dan tata cara agar sedekah laut di daerah mereka tetap ada.

Abstract

The persistence of educational inequality in Indonesia remains evident today. This situation parallels the depiction in Andrea Hirata’s 2005 novel Laskar Pelangi, indicating that the social critique offered by the work has yet to effect widespread change. This study uses a sociological-literary approach to analyze representations of educational inequity in Indonesia as portrayed in Laskar Pelangi. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, treating novel excerpts as primary and reports as secondary data. Thematic analysis is applied, and data validity is ensured through triangulation within a cross-sectional timeframe. Based on eight data points presented in the results table, the discussion details how the novel illustrates disparities in educational access across six dimensions: infrastructure, teacher availability, facility provision, student distribution, assessment processes, and talent development. These findings reveal the social function of literature as a form of social criticism that can raise public awareness and inform policy initiatives aimed at achieving more equitable education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of illocutionary speech acts in videos uploaded on Raymond Chin's YouTube channel. The main purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the types of illocutionary speech acts that appear, such as assertive, commissive, directive, expressive, and declarative. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of listening and recording, and data analysis through agih and padan methods. Assertive speech acts are used to convey the speakers' opinions and beliefs about social and political situations. Directive speech acts function to invite the audience to engage and think critically. Declarative speech acts are used to state facts or emphasize the speaker's views. Meanwhile, commissive speech acts show the speaker's ability or intention in responding to the topic being discussed, and expressive speech acts show the speaker's emotions, both in the form of appreciation and criticism. Raymond Chin utilizes various illocutionary strategies to deliver criticism in an analytical way, build audience engagement, and express his opinions politely and effectively in the context of digital communication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi tuturan kritik dalam Podkaesang Depan Pintu (PDP). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatis. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian berupa penggalan percakapan  dalam Podkaesang Depan Pintu (PDP) yang diunggah pada situs www.youtube.com di channel Youtube “Kaesang Pangarep by GK Hebat”. Penelitian difokuskan pada analisis fungsi tuturan yang diduga mengandung tuturan kritik.  Metode yang dilakukan dalam proses pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode simak. Teknik rekam dilakukan dengan cara mengunduh melalui apikasi Youtube dalam Podkaesang Depan Pintu (PDP). Setelah itu teknik lanjutan lainnya yaitu dengan teknik catat, pada teknik ini peneliti melakukan kegiatan penyimakan terhadap tuturan tokoh dalam Podkaesang Depan Pintu (PDP) melalui bahasa yang dihasilkan, kemudian data yang telah diperoleh dicatat.  Hasil Penelitian  menunjukkan fungsi tuturan kritik, berupa fungsi asertif dan fungsi ekspresif pada penggalan percakapan dalam Podkaesang Depan Pintu (PDP). Asertif berfungsi memberitahu orang-orang (penutur) mengenai sesuatu. Ekspresif  berfungsi untuk mengekspresikan perasaan dan sikap penutur terhadap keadaan yang tersirat dalam tuturan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan  dapat menjadi sumbangan ilmu bahasa dan menambah pengetahuan khususnya pragmatik.

Abstract

The problem at SDN Bacem 02 Blora is related to the low writing ability of students. In this case, the researcher wants to design a snake and ladder media in which a story based on Blora's local wisdom is inserted. The purpose of this study is to develop a snake and ladder media to train students' writing skills in the Indonesian Language subject in elementary schools. The research was conducted using the development method (Research and Development), using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection techniques used questionnaires from media experts, questionnaires from material experts, and assessments on students' writing skills in the Indonesian Language subject in the form of graphs. The results in the development of the snake and ladder media were 91% from media experts and 96% from material experts. Then, from the writing ability, it can be seen in the graph that always increases in each meeting.

Abstract

Javanese language learning has strategic potential in instilling noble character values that are in harmony with local wisdom and the vision of national education. However, the learning model that is still conventional is not yet fully able to answer the demands of strengthening students' character contextually. This study aims to describe the urgency of developing a collaborative project-based Javanese language learning model as an effective means of shaping students' character. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection through literature studies and observation through questionnaires. The data subjects were Javanese language teachers of junior high schools, high schools and vocational schools in Central Java. The data analysis technique uses the Milles Huberman mobile interactive technique. The findings of the study show that collaborative project-based learning is not only able to increase students' active involvement in learning, but is also effective in fostering character values such as responsibility, cooperation, and social concern. The design of a Javanese language learning model that integrates the principle of collaboration in the context of real projects needs to be a priority for innovation based on local wisdom. The implications of the results of this study contribute to the development of a holistic and transformative instructional design in Javanese language learning. These findings also recommend the need to develop learning models that prioritize collaboration, active student participation, and the use of local contexts as learning resources to support character-based education transformation.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the ecranization of the novel "Winter In Tokyo" by Ilana Tan into a film directed by Fajar Bustomi. The research focuses on the forms of storyline, setting, and character ecranization in the transfer from novel to film. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The descriptive method describes the forms of ecranization manifested in the novel and film "Winter In Tokyo". The primary data sources come from the novel by Ilana Tan and the movie directed by Fajar Bustomi, with data collection involving reading, watching, and note-taking techniques. The results are presented using descriptive analysis techniques with steps involving description, analysis, and conclusion. This study shows that various forms of ecranization, such as additions, subtractions, and changes, affect the final result in the adaptation process of "Winter In Tokyo" from novel to film.

Abstract

This study focuses on the need for effective learning media in teaching listening skills in speech texts at the junior high school level. This article aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of learning media based on the Articulate Storyline in improving students' ability to listen to speech texts. The research method used is research and development with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, followed by normality tests and paired sample t-tests to evaluate the significance of the results. The results showed that the Articulate Storyline media that had been improved based on expert input proved effective, with a significant increase in student learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. The normality test confirmed the normal distribution of the data, and the paired sample T-test showed a substantial difference between the pretest and posttest, supporting the hypothesis that this medium positively impacts students' ability to listen to speech texts. This study concludes that the Articulate Storyline media is an effective and useful learning tool for improving the listening skills of speech texts in junior high school students.
