Abstract

The lack of students’ interest in writing leads to a passive classroom atmosphere and results in low writing skills, which ultimately affect learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PAKEM model (Active, Creative, Effective, and Joyful Learning) on students’ basic syllable writing skills. The research employed a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental Design (One Group Pretest–Posttest Design). The subjects were one class of students without a comparison group. The study was conducted at SDIT Al-Munawwar from December 2023 to May 2024. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, and then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, normality tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test) with the aid of Excel and SPSS V.23. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ writing ability after the implementation of the PAKEM model. The average pretest score of 75.48 increased to 88.10 in the posttest. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PAKEM model has a significant effect on improving the basic syllable writing skills of first-grade students in the Indonesian language subject at SDIT Al-Munawwar

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and compensation on employee performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable, in private universities in Makassar City, Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 257 permanent employees from six private universities in Makassar. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method via SmartPLS 4. The findings indicate that transformational leadership and compensation have a positive and significant effect on both work motivation and employee performance. Work motivation also has a positive effect on employee performance and partially mediates the influence of transformational leadership and compensation on employee performance. Simultaneous testing shows that the combination of transformational leadership, compensation, and work motivation explains a substantial proportion of the variance in employee performance. The results contribute theoretically by strengthening the human resource management literature, and practically by providing strategic recommendations to enhance employee performance through inspirational leadership development, fair compensation policies, and effective work motivation management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the procedure of developing focusky media integrated religious values to develop the character of discipline. The research method used is research and development or Research and Development (R & D) which consists of three stages, namely: preliminary study, model development, model testing. The population used is elementary school students (SD), the sample taken is 5th grade elementary school students. The instruments in this study used observations, student response questionnaires to the media and product assessment questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, the development of integrated focusky media on religious values fulfilled the eligibility criteria with the results of material experts 'assessment by obtaining a feasibility presentation of 84% with a very valid category, the results of language experts' evaluation of 77% with valid categories, the results of media expert evaluations of 93% the category is very valid and the results of the respondent's evaluation are 94.21% with a very valid category. This shows that focusky media development products integrated religious values to develop disciplinary characters worthy of being used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the curriculum in planning early childhood education by analyzing the challenges and opportunities. Done by using library research methods. This research resulted in a number of challenges in curriculum planning and development, namely individual diversity, limited resources, lack of understanding of early childhood education, changes in societal demands and expectations. As well as opportunities including: child-based approaches, the use of educational technology, parent and community collaboration, research and innovation. Thus the curriculum and educational planning have a role in responding to all challenges by taking advantage of the opportunities that exist.

Abstract

Isu kecanduan gadget telah menjadi perhatian serius di era dgital, terutama di Desa Tegal Wangi, Kabupaten Pandeglang, yang memerlukan langkah-langkah penanganan yang tepat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan tujuan utama mengurangi risiko kecanduan gadget dan meningkatkan kesadaran tentang gaya hidup sehat. PKM ini mengimplementasikan Sistem Pakar (SIPIKAT) sebagai alat bantu edukasi. Metodologi yang diterapkan meliputi sosialisasi dan asesmen awal melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), pelatihan penggunaan SIPIKAT, seminar, serta lokakarya untuk pengembangan konten edukasi digital dan pendampingan orang tua. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman masyarakat mengenai penggunaan gadget yang bijak. Selain itu, SIPIKAT terbukti efektif sebagai alat deteksi dini dan edukasi. Singkatnya, PKM ini berhasil menciptakan fondasi lingkungan digital yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan di Desa Tegal Wangi. The issue of gadget addiction has become a serious concern in the digital era, especially in Tegal Wangi Village, Pandeglang Regency, requiring appropriate interventions. This community service (PKM) was implemented to address this issue, with the primary goal of reducing the risk of gadget addiction and raising awareness of a healthy lifestyle. This PKM implemented an Expert System (SIPIKAT) as an educational tool. The methodology applied included initial outreach and assessment through focus group discussions (FGDs), training on SIPIKAT usage, seminars, and workshops for developing digital educational content and mentoring parents. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in community understanding regarding wise gadget use. Furthermore, SIPIKAT proved effective as an early detection and educational tool. In short, this PKM successfully created the foundation for a healthier and more sustainable digital environment in Tegal Wangi Village.

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to examine the impact of perceive organizational support to reducing the effect of work-family conflict and turn over intention. It is also examining gender and perceiver organizational support as potential moderator in that relationship. Based on data obtain from 134 supervisor of four and five star hotels in Bali, which is consist of 57 female and 77 male, we found that work-family conflict has a positive influence and significantly related to turnover intention. It is also found that perceive organizational support significantly moderated a positive relationship between work-family conflict and turnover intentions, but another moderating effect, gender have no impact on it.

Abstract

Measuring the financial performance of Sharia banking or Islamic banking namely Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS), Islamic Business Units (UUS) and Islamic Rural Banks (BPRS) during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia using quantitative methods through financial ratios namely ROA, NPF, FDR and REO since March 2020 to August 2022. Data based on the Financial Services Authority's Sharia Banking Statistics from 13 BUS, 20 UUS and 166 BPRS. The results of the study found that during the Covid-19 pandemic, Islamic Banking Financial Ratios, namely ROA ranked 1st and higher at UUS, NPF ranked 1st lower at UUS, FDR ranked 2nd lower at BUS and REO ranked 1st lower at UUS. Islamic banking financial performance during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia based on financial ratios was better at UUS, followed by BUS and BPRS. This shows that Islamic Banking in Indonesia, especially UUS, is able to adapt well to the Covid-19 pandemic so that financial performance is on target.

Abstract

Abstract: This activity aims to empower the Glugur Makmur Village community by utilizing and developing shrimp shell and head waste into commercially valuable stock products. Until now, shrimp waste has been considered worthless and often causes environmental pollution. With this innovation in processing into stock, it is hoped that the community will gain new, productive skills and be able to increase family income. Specific targets to be achieved are increasing community knowledge about the importance of hygienic and environmentally friendly shrimp waste management, training the community in techniques for processing shrimp shells and heads into high-quality powdered and liquid stock, equipping the community with simple business management skills, digital marketing, and branding strategies to ensure product acceptance in the market. Implementation methods include outreach and education on the economic potential of shrimp waste, technical training in product processing and packaging, mentoring in small business management, and the implementation of digital-based marketing strategies. Activities will be conducted in a participatory manner, directly involving the community, so that the skills acquired can be applied independently. Through this program, the people of Glugur Makmur Village are expected to be able to produce commercially valuable shrimp broth products, expand business opportunities, and collectively improve economic well-being. Keywords: Utilization, Business Management, Shrimp Waste Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Glugur Makmur melalui pemanfaatan dan pengembangan limbah kulit serta kepala udang menjadi produk kaldu bernilai komersial. Selama ini, limbah udang hanya dianggap tidak bernilai dan sering menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Dengan adanya inovasi pengolahan menjadi kaldu, diharapkan masyarakat memperoleh keterampilan baru yang produktif serta mampu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengelolaan limbah udang secara higienis dan ramah lingkungan, melatih masyarakat dalam teknik pengolahan kulit dan kepala udang menjadi kaldu bubuk maupun cair yang berkualitas, membekali masyarakat dengan kemampuan manajemen usaha sederhana, pemasaran digital, serta strategi branding agar produk dapat diterima pasar. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi dan penyuluhan mengenai potensi ekonomi limbah udang, pelatihan teknis pengolahan dan pengemasan produk, pendampingan manajemen usaha kecil, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran berbasis digital. Melalui program ini, masyarakat Desa Glugur Makmur diharapkan mampu menghasilkan produk kaldu udang yang bernilai komersial, memperluas peluang usaha, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi secara kolektif. Kata Kunci : Pemanfaatan,Manajemen Usaha,Limbah Udang

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan Talent Guardian (ATAGA-JPT), sebuah platform kecerdasan buatan (AI) prediktif yang dirancang untuk mendukung penerapan meritokrasi jabatan pada perguruan tinggi swasta. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan data kepegawaian, kinerja dosen, serta rekam jejak kompetensi untuk menghasilkan rekomendasi berbasis prediksi terhadap jabatan fungsional maupun struktural. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) yang mencakup tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pengembangan model prediktif berbasis machine learning, serta validasi melalui uji performa model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ATAGA-JPT mampu memetakan profil talenta dan memprediksi kesiapan jabatan secara objektif dengan tingkat akurasi 92,6% menggunakan algoritma Gradient Boosting, serta reliabilitas instrumen α = 0,856. Penerapan sistem ini berpotensi memperkuat tata kelola sumber daya manusia berbasis kinerja, mengurangi bias subjektif dalam pengangkatan jabatan, dan mendukung transformasi digital manajemen talenta di lingkungan perguruan tinggi swasta.
