Abstract

The rapid growth of digital and financial technology has changed how society manages finances, particularly among Generation Z in Cilegon City. Although this generation actively uses digital financial applications, their financial literacy remains low, reflected in high rates of impulsive buying and consumptive behavior. This study analyzes the effect of financial literacy on financial management behavior, the effect of financial literacy on financial technology, the effect of financial technology on financial management behavior, and the mediating role of financial technology in the relationship between financial literacy and financial management behavior among Generation Z in Cilegon City during the cashless society era. A quantitative approach was used, with Generation Z in Cilegon City as the population. Purposive sampling was applied, and the sample size, calculated using G*Power 3.1.9.7, resulted in 110 respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed via Google Form and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that financial literacy significantly affects financial management behavior and financial technology, and that financial technology significantly affects financial management behavior while also mediating the relationship between financial literacy and financial management behavior. All four hypotheses are accepted.

Abstract

Employee productivity is a critical factor supporting the achievement of organizational goals. At PT BPR Lambang Ganda Head Office Ciruas, productivity problems are indicated by the persistently unmet monthly credit targets throughout 2025, allegedly influenced by the suboptimal implementation of Flexible Working Arrangement (FWA) and low Work Life Balance (WLB) among employees. This study aims to examine the direct effect of FWA on Employee Productivity, the effect of FWA on WLB, the effect of WLB on Employee Productivity, and the mediating role of WLB in the relationship between FWA and Employee Productivity. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach was applied to the entire population of 34 employees using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that FWA has a positive but insignificant effect on Employee Productivity, whereas FWA has a significant positive effect on WLB, and WLB has a significant positive effect on Employee Productivity. WLB is also found to significantly mediate the effect of FWA on Employee Productivity, confirming its role as a mediating variable that bridges the two constructs.

Abstract

PT Astra Infra Toll Road is one of the companies responsible for maintaining the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and is required to provide excellent services to toll road users. User satisfaction is an important factor in evaluating service quality, as positive experiences can influence users’ responses toward the company. This study aims to analyze and describe the quality of toll road services and their impact on user satisfaction. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations at toll gates, and documentation studies. The informants consisted of toll road managers and toll road users. The results show that service quality dimensions, including officer responsiveness, road facility comfort, and driving safety, significantly influence user perceptions. Technical problems in the Call Center service were identified as the main factor reducing user satisfaction. However, friendly officer services and quick emergency responses contributed to restoring user trust and satisfaction. This study recommends improving technological infrastructure reliability and conducting regular road maintenance to optimize the implementation of minimum service standards (SPM).

Abstract

Indonesia's economy experienced fluctuating growth during 2016–2025, including a sharp contraction during the COVID-19 pandemic followed by gradual recovery. These macroeconomic conditions affected the capital market, particularly the value of LQ45-indexed companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Firm value, measured by Price to Book Value (PBV), declined substantially from 11.81 times in 2016 to 2.06 times in 2025. During the same period, the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio remained relatively stable, while the Rupiah depreciated against the US Dollar. Previous studies on the effects of liquidity, capital structure, and exchange rate on firm value have produced inconsistent findings and rarely distinguish between short-run and long-run relationships. This study aims to examine the short-run and long-run effects of the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and exchange rate on the firm value of LQ45-indexed companies during 2016–2025. This research applies a quantitative associative method using secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Bank Indonesia. Purposive sampling selected six companies, resulting in 60 firm-year observations. The data were analyzed using the Panel Autoregressive Distributed Lag (Panel ARDL) method. The results indicate that in the short run, the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio have no significant effect on firm value, whereas the exchange rate has a significant positive effect. In the long run, the Current Ratio remains insignificant, the Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant positive effect, and the exchange rate has a significant negative effect.

Abstract

The banking sector holds a strategic role in the Indonesian economy as an intermediary institution that collects and channels public funds into productive activities. Firm value, commonly proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), reflects investors' perception of a bank's performance and future prospects, making it an important benchmark in investment decision-making. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of Return on Assets (ROA), Firm Size, and the BI Rate on the Price to Book Value of commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2015–2024 period. A quantitative associative approach was applied using secondary data drawn from the audited annual financial reports of commercial banks listed on the IDX. Using a purposive sampling technique, five banks meeting the sample criteria were selected, yielding 50 firm-year observations. Panel data regression was performed with EViews 12, and the Fixed Effect Model was selected following the Chow and Hausman tests. The results show that, partially, ROA has no significant effect on PBV (t = -0.250668; sig. = 0.8033), and the BI Rate has no significant effect on PBV (t = 0.413715; sig. = 0.6812). In contrast, Firm Size has a positive and significant effect on PBV (t = 2.744670; sig. = 0.0089). Simultaneously, ROA, Firm Size, and the BI Rate significantly affect PBV (F = 4.426872; sig. = 0.000928), explaining 32.87 percent of its variance (Adjusted R² = 0.328658). These findings suggest that firm size, rather than short-term profitability or the prevailing policy rate, is the dominant factor shaping investors' valuation of commercial banks on the IDX, providing practical implications for corporate financial strategy and investment decision-making.

Abstract

The banking sector plays a strategic role in the national economy, making profitability, as reflected in Return on Assets (ROA), a key concern for management, regulators, and investors. Fluctuations in ROA among commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) highlight the need to examine factors influencing bank performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Green Banking Development Index (GBDI), Cost Efficiency Ratio (CER), and Money Supply (M2) on ROA, both partially and simultaneously, during the 2020–2025 period. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from banks’ annual financial reports obtained from the IDX and official bank websites. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 5 commercial banks with 30 observations. Data were analyzed using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM). The results of the partial test (t-test) show that GBDI does not have a significant effect on ROA, while CER and Money Supply (M2) have significant effects. The simultaneous test (F-test) indicates that GBDI, CER, and M2 jointly have a significant effect on ROA. The Adjusted R-squared value of 28.54% shows that these variables explain part of the variation in ROA, while 71.46% is influenced by other factors outside the model.
