Abstract

This study aims to examine differences in the level of creative thinking of students who follow the learning with RADEC and Expository learning model. The population in this study were all elementary students in Pagerageung sub-district and Sukaresik sub-district of Suryalaya district, West Java province. The sample of the study was 120 students who were taught by eight teachers who had attended the RADEC learning workshop and applied it in school. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are different test or t-test. The results showed that learning by RADEC model statistically significant effect on the increasing ability of student creative thinking. This is evidenced from the significance of Sig. (2-tailed) in Equal variances not assumed shows a value of 0.007 and this value is smaller than ? = 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. That is, the hypothesis that there is a significant difference in the creative thinking ability of students who follow the learning with RADEC and Expository learning model is acceptable.

Abstract

Education that is happening now is experiencing rapid changes and developments from year to year. Change occurs because it follows the development of the current era. For this reason students must be equipped with the skills that must be possessed to be able to deal with the changing times. Education must also have an interesting learning method to prepare 21st century special children. Learning entrepreneurship has the principle that learning must be student-centered, collaborative, contextual, and integrated with society. The skill that is most needed in the century of entrepreneurship learning is the skill to explore , where children are asked to explore their surroundings to become a learning material both through books, the internet, and from the surrounding environment. By exploring students will get a lot of knowledge even students will get an opportunity in creating an interesting innovation. For early childhood education, developing skills to explore, students must be guided by the teacher. The teacher has a very strong role to foster an attitude of exploration for children. For this reason the teacher must have an exploration need when doing learning in the classroom. The role of the teacher in carrying out 21st century learning is very important in realizing a better future for the nation.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the relationship among Cooperative Model and Intrapersonal Intelligence about Social Skills in Social Studies Learning for Students of grade 4 students in the state elementary school of Cipinang Melayu 09, East Jakarta, the amount of students are 68 students. The method used in writing is a quantitative method. The technique used to analyze the data is the statistical techniques of correlation and regression. The research result showed: 1) There is a significant difference between the social skills of the group of students who study with the CORE model and the social skills of the group of students who study with the TGT model. 2) There is a significant interaction between learning models, intrapersonal intelligence on social skills. 3) Social skills for students who have high intrapersonal intelligence and learn with the CORE model higher than students who study with the TGT model. 4) Social skills for students who have low intrapersonal intelligence and learning with the TGT model is higher than students who study with the CORE model.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the influence of scientific approach with cross line method for multiplication toward student understanding on the concept of multiplication. The type of study is a one-group experiment. The population of the study in the third-grade as much 80 students of the elementary school in Bandung. The sample of the study as much 38 children. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data using pre-test and post-test. The pre-test and post-test using 5 indicators understanding on the concept of multiplication. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic. The results show that mean the pre-test 28 and mean the post-test 69. Also, 4 indicators understanding concept multiplication increased. Thus it can be concluded that the scientific approach with cross line method for multiplication proved to improving student understanding on the concept of multiplication.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the primary school teachers? readiness to implement Read-Answer- Discuss-Explain-and Create (RADEC) learning model. This research was a survey research with quantitative approach. 32 primary school teachers in the Sub-district of Pagerageung, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java participated in this study. They have already attended the workshop on RADEC Learning Model. Data were collected by using questionnaire. Data analysis used percentage technique with editing, scoring, and tabulation stage. The results show that the primary school teachers are ready to implement the RADEC learning model. Based on readiness aspects, the gain of Cognitive aspect readiness is in the Very Ready category, the gain of Emotive-attitudinal aspect readiness is in the Very Ready category, and the gain of Behavioral aspect readiness is in the Ready category. However, there is an indicator on the Behavioral aspect readiness, namely organizing time, still in the Less Ready category. This means the teachers may have difficulty to take time trying RADEC learning model.

Abstract

The social phenomena which arises in the life of Indonesian society in last three decades is experiencing the process of character loss and Indonesian identity demoralization, starting from behavioral morality and socio cultural of a nation. The sense of solidarity and social empathy has began to fade, the behavior which usually friendly and helpful change into selfish and temperamental behavior. The idea of conflict resolution becomes literature to place multiculturalism which is identified by the tolerance life order toward people who are different from themselves. The Conflict resolution integration is a strategy of conflict resolution and seeks to find together the solution of conflict resolution. The strategy of conflict resolution which aims to educate students capable to overcome or resolve conflict constructively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the rights and character of students in elementary schools. In addition, find out about the Rights and Character of Students in Primary Schools. The data sampling process used in snowball sampling research consisted of principals, teachers, students, school librarians, school guards, and school canteen guards. Whereas for the whole technique the data uses in-depth interviews (in-depth interviews) in the form of structured interviews (structured interviews), in the form of light-clear and disguised analysis (open observation and confidential observation), and documentation. Data analysis in this study through data triangulation techniques with three stages include reduction of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that with the phenomenon that occurs in Sindang District 1 Elementary School, it can be stated that there are other things or new things that can build students' character not only through the curriculum. The application of children's rights at school can affect the formation of student character. Students who get their rights at school will bring better student characters compared to students who do not get their rights at school. Although the facilities provided by the school both affect children in the classroom are not good but will have a bad impact on students who are not good too. The habits of school residents in the application of children's rights in schools such as providing good facilities, giving attention, providing guidance, not being indifferent to students. Such things will make students more comfortable and suitable for people such as being open, honest, responsible, respectful, legal aware, caring and caring.

Abstract

This research based on the existence of moral decadence that continues to occur in the life of the 21st century. The study aims to examine the character education applied in secondary schools through the government program namely Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). The study was conducted with literacy studies on various documents and sources related to character education. Character education for secondary schools is carried out based on the nine principles of PPK, namely: (1) universal values; (2) holistic; (3) integrated; (4) participatory; (5) local wisdom; (6) 21st century skills; (7) fair and inclusive; (8) in harmony with student development; and (9) measured. The main character values developed for students include religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation and integrity.
