Abstract

Motivation is one of the things that influence the success of student learning activities. Without motivation, the learning process will be difficult to achieve optimum success. Cultivating student learning motivation is one of the techniques in developing learning abilities and willingness. One logical way to motivate students in learning is to link learning experiences with student motivation. As a teacher and parents as much as possible should always strive to be able to increase learning motivation, especially for students who have difficulty in learning.

Abstract

This literature study aims to (1) analyze the forms of disciplinary behavior by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process in schools. (2) Describe and analyze the function of each form of student discipline in school. This study is a literature study from various sources, both books and reports. This study focuses on students' discipline when the teaching and learning process takes place both in the classroom or school environment. Collecting data from various sources of books on discipline which were later cited as supporters of the preparation of the article. In his study, he did not use objects directly but rather the results of observations and the results of the experiences of the authors. This research is a research based on the results of pre-existing research related to student discipline in school. then added theoretical studies and conclusions related to Student Discipline in Schools. Here discusses the Definition of Discipline, Discipline Functions, Elements of Discipline Control, Factors that influence discipline, and Student Discipline Dimensions. It is hoped that this discussion will increase knowledge about the teaching and application of students' disciplinary attitudes at school.

Abstract

In an effort to build local wisdom in character education in elementary school is very less effective. That is the number of students who do not understand what local wisdom is and the lack of students in remembering culture in each region, therefore a research is needed in which students in primary schools can foster local wisdom and can foster the character of every regional culture in Indonesia . So in this paper an exploration of the literature and references of the literature that presents local wisdom is carried out. The exploration results will be described in the form of a summary of the problems and solutions outlined by several researchers in the review literature. It is hoped that readers can build local wisdom in character education at school and can apply it in school or in everyday life.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the importance of emotional intelligence in building the character of elementary school students in the 21st century This method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection through literature or library research. Data sourced from books, articles, online mass media. The data obtained was collected and processed using documentation and discourse identification techniques. The results showed that emotional intelligence can build students to have honest, disciplined, self-respecting, responsibility, authority, confidence, able to take advantage of opportunities, ,more skilled at calming self, better in dealing with other people, competent in understanding others, and more organized in academic work.

Abstract

The traditional game is the type of game that is interesting to study. Along with access to the use of media technologies is growing very rapidly, and the 21st century is in sight, then the game is a traditional question, "Is it still necessary?". The use of media technologies bring changes tochild's play activity today. Traditional games as an a typical game to a region or country is now being abandoned. Modern games such as playstation, online games and gadgets is the type of game the most fun and liked children. Imagine, the gadget becomes child play facilities very quickly provide information according the wishes of children. Psychologically children who often play gadget will affect the development of his attitude. Kids are more likely to individualistic and difficult to interact with others. In contrast to traditional games which case it contains the noble values. FAnother interesting development related enomena manner in which humans are faced with in the 21st century with all its characteristics. Characteristic study skills a must-have in the 21st century is Creative, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking. Along with the 21st century as the digital era, where the type of the modern game in the end it gives a negative impact. One of them is the problem of social skills that should have this skill possessed by children entering the 21st century, The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the traditional games against the development of 21st century character values used method is to use the study. Researchers with the literature obtained in the end found that the implementation of the traditional game with all the values of the sublime in it affect the development of the character values in the 21st century.

Abstract

Geopark Ciletuh one of its territory is located in Tamanjaya village, Ciemas district, Sukabumi district, West Java. Geographically, the village of Tamanjaya is divided into two regions, namely the land area and the mainland with the laus wilaya 1,372,5 Ha (Tamanjaya, 2015) and the population of 6,500 people (Statistik Daerah, 2015). Such conditions can be utilized by the local community as one way to improve the economy of the region, with various businesses such as SMEs, back packers, creative industries, tourism and so forth, especially if the village area Tamanjaya serve as Geopark by UNESCO in 2020 later. However, the potential that is currently not oriented and contribute to the world of education such as media and learning resources in elementary schools such as IPS material about Indonesia's natural state and cultural diversity of Indonesia. This research approach using qualitative descriptive research method. Descriptive qualitative research is a study that describes or describes the existing phenomena, both natural phenomena or human engineering (Sukmadinata, 2008).

Abstract

The digital revolution is one of the causes of the changing civilization of society. Changes in society occur in the decline of morality and the many social problems that occur in this nation. Character education is a necessity in an effort to face the challenges of globalization at this time. Character education is a movement of education in schools to strengthen the character of students through harmonization of the heart, taste, thought and sports with the support of public involvement and cooperation between schools, families, and society. Character education is a national movement in creating schools to develop learners to have ethics, responsibility, and caring, by applying and teaching good character through an emphasis on universal values. Character education is a deliberate, proactive, and done effort by schools and governments to instill core values ??in ethics, such as caring, honesty, fairness, responsibility, and respect for others. Schools should be able to develop character education through learning, habituation, extracurricular activities, and working with families and communities. That's why it takes the implementation of character education, one of which can be done when learning ICT in Elementary School. This article is a literature review based article using qualitative approach and descriptive-analysis method, trying to study about how character education in Indonesia. The result of the study shows that the process of internalization of character education in ICT learning can be transformed by doing the culture in the school environment by integrating character education in teaching materials so that habituation, assignment and exemplary become an integral, holistic part which continuously become part studied, understood, and practiced in everyday life.

Abstract

Human civilization that moves dynamically does not escape from the influence of globalization that affects education, especially in polite language education which if the implementers and users of language politeness have decreased in the implementation of education. then polite language education requires education in achieving goals where polite language is an educational effort in shaping individual personalities that are able to overcome the problems of life in the world. Mechanistic education has an impact on the language politeness that a child has toward his maturity. Courteous language education is one of the important alternatives in realizing Indonesian human beings who are afflicted by moral decadence in the implementation of polite language education has its own challenges that expect polite language actions not just the choice of words right in speaking but an individual character that reflects the values ??prevailing in society, and polite language education is one of the values ??that must be inculcated in character education from an early age in school education.

Abstract

The influence of globalization has resulted in thedegradation the nationalism value among young and students. If it is left and not been filtered well the people of Indonesia would lose their identities. Based onit our Education and Cultureministry (Kemendikbud) made policy by making the educational character programs and issued an instruction to sing national anthems in education practices as an effort to inculcate character valuesback to thestudents. Education practice is proper place in internalization the nationalism value. This study aims to analyze the process of embedding the nationalism value through the national anthems media who sang songs in inuring activities at SMP N 2 Sumber. In order to detach and analyze this researcher used a qualitative approach through a method of descriptive .The purpose of the approach and that method was to analyze data by means of described or designated the data that has been collected as the fact field. The research results showed that the cultivation of the nationalism value through a program inuring activities within singing national anthemsat SMPN 2 Sumber could not yet be affecting character of students .The research finding describes the students at SMPN 2 Sumber are not ready to do this educational character programme .This statement can be proven from the findings of this field that; 1 ) there is no well-structured and systematic from the teacher or school; 2 ) when the processing habitual activities , teachers did not stimulate and intervene the students, so that they found difficulty to understand the value inside of national anthems. As a education character media, the habituation activity in singing national anthems must be implemented with well-structured and systematic design in order to accomplish a purpose program that has been formulated by the Education and Culture ministry, that isto embed nationalism values through singing national anthems at school.
