Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program (MBKM) is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which aims to encourage students to master various knowledge that is useful for entering the world of work. One form of learning activities offered is apprenticeship/practice. Internship aims to provide opportunities to apply theories that have been learned in lectures, as well as the application of general and specific skills in the world of work. Through the Kedaireka Matching Fund (MF) 2023 program, the Social Science Education study program, Unesa partnered with Micro Enterprises at the Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro, holding research internships. Research internships are attended by ten students for one semester. Data collection techniques used interviews with all research subjects, including documentation in the form of internship program manuals and student internship reports. Internship activities at Al-Fatimah Islamic Pondok Pesantren include three main activities, namely: workshops, observations, and entrepreneurial practices. During the internship, students make various household cleaning products such as detergent, dish soap, perfume and so on. Students also sell household cleaning products, whether marketed directly to consumers, trade fairs or marketing using online media. The results of the activity show that the apprenticeship program at Al-Fatimah Bojonegoro Pondok Pesantren Micro Enterprise provides hands-on learning experience for Social Sciences Education students to manage entrepreneurship starting from managing trademarks, optimizing production, optimizing marketing and managing cooperatives. The internship experience also adds soft skills, so that students are ready to compete and open up new business opportunities.

Abstract

This research aims to meet the needs of teachers and participants by presenting teaching materials in the form of social sciences e-modules based on local wisdom with a feasible and effective problem solving approach to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is R&D which has been developed by Borg & Gall. Initial product development validated by media experts and material experts, initial field tests assessed from the responses of 2 teachers and 16 students, initial product revisions, main product tests assessed from the responses of 2 teachers and 27 students people, revision of the main product, operational field testing by giving pretests and posttests to 32 students, revision of the final product, and dissemination in junior high schools throughout Central Mamuju Regency. This research produced a social sciences e-module product based on local wisdom with a problem solving approach which was declared feasible and effective enough to improve students' critical thinking skills. The results of the independent t-test analysis show a sig. value (2-tailed) < 0.05, so the conclusion is that there is a difference in students' critical thinking abilities between the experimental class that uses the product and the control class that does not use the product.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of the LOK-R (Literasi, Orientasi, Kolaborasi, dan Refleksi) learning model on improving students' socio-cultural literacy skills and understanding of religious moderation in social science learning. This research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was students at MTs Putra Putri Simo, Lamongan. The research sample consisted of 8th grade students, consisting of 60 students, with 30 people in the experimental class and 30 people in the control class. The research instrument is in the form of pretest questions, which are carried out before implementing the LOK-R learning model to measure initial socio-cultural literacy skills and initial understanding of religious moderation in students. The results of the research and hypothesis testing show that: (1) there has been a significant increase in students' socio-cultural literacy skills using the LOK-R learning model; (2) there has been a significant increase in students' understanding of religious moderation using the LOK-R learning model; and (3) there are differences in socio-cultural literacy skills and understanding of religious moderation simultaneously between students who take part in learning using the LOK-R learning model and students who take part in learning using the guided inquiry learning model. So it is concluded that there is an influence of using the LOK-R learning model has an influence on improving socio-cultural literacy skills and understanding of religious moderation among students in social studies learning at MTs Putra Putri Simo, Lamongan.

Abstract

Fokus pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pembuatan dan pemasaran rengginang terasi, dengan berbagai aktivitas mulai dari pengelolaan produksi, manajemen keuangan, hingga strategi pemasaran produk. Mitra pengabdian adalah UMKM Rengginang Terasi berada di Dsn. Bogoran, RT 003, RW 002, Desa Glodog, Kec. Palang, Kab. Tuban, Jawa Timur. UMKM Rengginang Terasi merupakan salah satu UMKM yang mempunyai produk unik untuk dikembangkan yakni rengginang yang berbahan dasar terasi, hal tersebut dikarenakan di wilayah Kabupaten Tuban merupakan salah satu tempat produksi terasi udang terbesar di indonesia. Metode pengabdian Advokasi, yaitu kegiatan yang berupa pendampingan terhadap kelompok sasaran. terdiri dari persiapan, pembekalan dan analisis hasil. Pengembangan produk UMKM yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing tinggi pada pengabdian ini meliputi pendaftaran sertifikasi P-IRT, memperbarui kemasan eco-friendly, membantu proses produksi, dan memperluas jaringan pemasaran. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan produktivitas dan efisiensi operasional UMKM. Terjadi peningkatan penjualan menyentuh angka 39 % hal tersebut didapatkan dari berbagai sosial media yaitu Shopee, TikTok, Instagram, dan whatsapp.

Abstract

The Mepasah funeral tradition in Trunyan Village, Bali, is a unique cultural heritage of the Bali Aga community that has survived since the time of Ancient Bali. Unlike the common Balinese Hindu funeral practice of cremation, the Trunyan community treats the body by leaving it lying on the ground under the Taru Menyan tree without burying it. This tradition not only serves as a form of respect for death, but also reflects the philosophy of life of the local community that upholds harmony between humans, nature, and ancestral spirits, as reflected in the concept of Tri Hita Karana. This research aims to historically examine the origins, development, and continuity of the Mepasah tradition in the midst of modernization, and explore the main reasons that make the Trunyan community still maintain it today. This research uses a qualitative approach with historical methods. The results of the study show that despite the influence of tourism and globalization, the Trunyan community collectively maintains this practice as a cultural identity as well as an irreplaceable spiritual system. In addition, support from customary institutions, selectivity in accepting change, and active involvement of the younger generation in preservation make this tradition sustainable. These findings emphasize the importance of historical and cultural approaches in understanding and preserving local cultural practices so that they do not lose their original meaning in the midst of changing times.

Abstract

Facing advancements in the digital era, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need to keep up with technological developments to remain competitive in the marketing world. Social media is one of the platforms that can be effectively utilized to digitally market products, making them accessible to a wider audience. The marketing of products from Al-Fatimah Islamic Boarding School Bojonegoro SMEs has not fully utilized social media. This article aims to propose optimal social media strategies for marketing SMEs products at Al-Fatimah Islamic Boarding School Bojonegoro. The research approach used is qualitative research with a case study method. Data is obtained through interviews with the managers of SMEs at Al-Fatimah Islamic Boarding Scholl, observation of the marketing activities already carried out, and an analysis of literature related to marketing through social media. The results of this research offer a solution by optimizing social media to enhance the marketing of SMEs products at Al-Fatimah Islamic Boarding School Bojonegoro. Practical recommendations are also provided regarding the use of specific social media platforms and promotional methods that can be implemented to expand product marketing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis isu kontroversial dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 5 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes berpikir kritis dalam bentuk soal uraian yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan uji perbedaan (uji t) untuk membandingkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik berada pada kategori baik (27 siswa) dan hanya 7 siswa pada kategori sangat baik. Setelah pembelajaran, hasil posttest menunjukkan seluruh peserta didik (34 siswa) mencapai kategori sangat baik. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam merespons isu sosial. Pembelajaran IPS berbasis isu kontroversial terbukti efektif dalam membangun kemampuan analitis dan reflektif siswa terhadap persoalan sosial kontekstual.

Abstract

Tuntutan implmentasi kurikulum merdeka mengharuskan guru beradaptasi. Namun demikian masih banyak guru IPS SMP di Kabupaten Pasuruan yang belum paham dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Banyak guru yang masih bingung dan belum percaya diri untuk menyusun modul ajar yang sesuai dengan karakteristik sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPS. Program ini bertujuan utuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar pembelajaran IPS kontekstual sesuai karakteristik sekolah. Pelatihan dilaksakanan dalam tiga kali yaitu in service training 1 secara daring synchronous, on the job training secara daring asynchronous dan in service training 2 secara luring. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan ini telah berhasil untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru IPS SMP Kabupaten Pasuruan. Dengan tingkat keberhasilan yang tinggi, baik dalam jumlah pengumpulan tugas maupun kualitas hasilnya, peserta dapat menerapkan modul ajar yang mereka susun ke dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil ini juga menjadi bukti bahwa pelatihan PKM mampu memberikan dampak nyata dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan model pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pembelajarannya sendiri, membuat proyek kolaborasi serta mempresentasikan hasil proyek (produk infografis) tersebut. Dari proyek kreatif yang dihasilkan siswa, biasanya orang menghubungkan dengan kreativitas. Dengan kata lain, produk kreatif penting untuk menilai kreativitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dengan melakukan penilaian kreativitas siswa melalui produk infografis dalam Project Based Learning (PjBL). Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitiannya yaitu penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian atau informan yang diambil adalah seluruh siswa di kelas VII-J SMP Negeri 42 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Selanjutnya, pada tahap analisis data berpatok pada model Miles dan Huberman dengan menggunakan teknik interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penilaian kreativitas siswa melalui produk infografis dalam Project Based Learning (PjBL), ditemukan bahwasannya siswa yang kreatif dalam proses pembelajaran belum tentu dapat menghasilkan produk yang kreatif, begitupun sebaliknya. Hasil produk yang kreatif belum tentu dihasilkan dari siswa yang kreatif selama proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengembangan media pembelajaran maket gunug api dengan melakukan uji efektifitas media. Metode penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reserch and development serta eksperimental quasy dengan one group pretest posttetst. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman mitigasi bencana yang signifikan, dengan dilihat dari peningkatan ketercapaian pemahaman akhir yang didapat setelah peserta didik melakukan demonstasi media dikelas dengan menghadirkan media maket gunungapi. Didapatkan nilai N-Gain untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media yang hingga memunculkan signifikansi peningkatan degan didapatkan nilai 0,67 dengan kategori sedang atau cukup efektif.
